Really cool dining experience. We were visiting in Cleveland (to check out the Rock and Roll hall of fame) and wanted to try something local and healthy. Great choice. It is located in Public Square, so that made it a cool spot, water fountains outside, kids playing, statutes and big building to watch as you eat, they do have in and outdoor seating. We really didn't know what yo order but tge girl at the counter takingbour order was very patient and helpful. We split a build your own Naan bowl. So started with the Naan bread, added chicken, grilled veggies, kale, garlic crunches and the yum yum sauce. It was all fresh and filling, excellent meal. First of all, the food here is not bad, but not always. It depends on the shift. And here it is almost always dirty and there are a lot of vagabonds and other antisocial people. Some of them are constantly sleeping at the tables, they come with their own food and alcoholic (!) drinks. They act loud and they even smoke! (See photo) It's unpleasant. Especially when tobacco smoke gets inside, because a person smokes right at the table for customers in front. And this is provided that there are signs everywhere that "these places are only for customers". When I called the supervisor Dan and pointed out to him this trouble on their part, he just shrugged his shoulders. I was polite, calm and showed him that a non-customer was smoking right at the next table. He didn't say anything. That day I left. Then I came back the next day. There was a non-customer in a cafe that positions itself as health. He had a plastic glass, into which he poured yellow liquid when it ran out. It was dirty and smelled bad. He periodically jumped up, shouted something and waved his arms. It was scary and embarrassing. On the same day, the cashier girl cheated me for $ 8. I didn't notice it right away and at the end of the meal I came up and clarified the situation. Luckily, my check was in their hand! I asked to explain the situation and the girl said that she had already returned the money to my account. I told her why I was not notified immediately about this error, she did not say anything about it. I just left, I was polite, calm and understood that if I had not come to clarify the situation, they would have taken this money for themselves, that is, they would have stolen (?). By the way, they still have not refunded. On the same day I told them that the broth has a lot of pepper and salt. And I didn't even ask for a refund. They kindly changed it for me, apparently by adding water, and there are no problems. I continued to communicate with my wife. I was calm and polite. He did not offend anyone, did not wave his arms and did not shout. Today I came and they told me that ... they will no longer serve me for the reason ... that I am evil. Really?!) This is me, who is a regular customer who improves the service by giving feedback. This decision was made by a manager who did not even see a single situation. Dina or Lina. Pluses and minuses abound. A ton of playing up the non-GMO etc, but let's get past that. When you walk in, you order your food via computer. They didn't all work, so we had to wait. Sadly, the computers didn't really explain the food at all the way a menu would. The humans behind the counter were no help. They all held back behind the counter and really made no movement to help. The food was good, if not VERY oily. The chicken had an amazing flavor, but was overshadowed with how much oils was left in the bottom of the bowl. The 'chips' and guac was flavorful, but incredibly greasy. Only a couple of stuck-together chips that crumbled when trying to separate them and were not enough for the guac. Unfortunately, the ambiance was iffy at best. It felt like the staff didn't want you in the store, and every question for them (even asking for napkins) was an irritation. Was visiting Cleveland for a weekend and went searching with a friend for a good breakfast sandwich. Walking in, the ambiance is very modern and clean and the large windows make a small space look larger than it is. They had a patio area overlooking a square and each table had flowers in the middle adding to the vibe. I got the Wakin' Bacon breakfast sandwich with an extra egg added and the Paleo Smoothie. The smoothie was fantastic, good consistency and texture with just the right amount of sweetness, I could tell they didn't add any sugar to it which is the way it should be The breakfast sandwich had a nice soft brioche bun but the egg was unfortunately a bit bland and needed some salt. The sandwich came with some hot sauce for flavor and lots of crispy bacon. It wasn't the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had -- I personally prefer a bagel or English muffin and a more flavorful egg -- but it was very filling and satisfying. I'm a fan of Rebol. Right in the center of the square and makes ordering easy peasy on the app. Ten times better than Chipotle with those same customizable options that you love. Their hummus is so incredible, you must add it to your meal! I love to get chicken and rice or cauliflower rice when I'm being carb conscious. Their guacamole is thick and fresh, and goes so well next to the hummus. My only complaint would be the lack of cheese options. Cmon - we need something other than goat! Omgggg, yum. Rebol is a fast-casual joint right across Tower City. The location is a little obscure, but it's just right across the fancy fountain area in the plaza. You can either order with the cashier or through the quick-order screen on the counter. Menu options include pre-built bowls and BYO's. Imo, most of the items are reasonably priced, too (around 9-12 dollars). Both times I ordered, I got custom bowls - one with steak, one with chicken. I also added a lot of veggie sides (e.g. grilled veggies, kale and cucumber noodles for my base). Overall, my food was DELICIOUS! I got just the right amount of steak and chicken, and not too many veggies to the point where I was gonna blow up or feel too gassy. The place is also pretty clean for inside dining, but when the weather's nice, Rebol also has good outdoor seating. Can't wait to come back! As someone who'll have to rely on public transit to get around CLE, I love that Rebol is easy to access from RTA's Red Line (Tower City stop). Underwhelming meal at a place i had high expectations for. I stopped in for lunch with several friends while visiting downtown attractions. We ate outside on the square, a really nice atmosphere with nice picnic tables complete with pretty planted flowers. The food was actually good, it wasn't so much the taste I was disappointed in, but the presentation and the portion sizes were lacking. I ordered the chicken bowl with a kale and cucumber base and topped it with several of the topping options. The purple cabbage and Asian slaw were both delicious but only about 3 bites in amount. I think they could've filled up the bowls with some more toppings for $9. Even Chipotle does a better job at that. The only redeeming value of the meal was the free coffee with Yelp Check-in! I should also add that two of my friends got the Tuna poke bowl and it definitely would be a disappointment if you were expecting a poke bowl. REBOL, in my experience, is not a vegan-friendly restaurant. This is unfortunate, because some of the vegetable-based ingredients, such as the kale and falafel, are really delicious. I've had two experiences here that, as a strict vegan of years, have been very unsettling, and which have dissuaded me from eating here in the future. Most recently, today I ordered an item called "Vegan Power Bowl Naan Bol" under the impression that this dish was vegan. As I ate the dish, I thought the naan tasted a bit buttery, but I trusted the restaurant that it was vegan, because it was clearly labeled as such on the menu. When I called the restaurant to ask, they confirmed that yes, it did contain butter. This is a case of false and misleading marketing that had a major negative effect on me: physically, emotionally, spiritually, eating a non-vegan meal as a vegan is very impactful. Because I never eat dairy, my GI tract is not used to digesting butter/milk and I am feeling unwell because of this. Sadly, this was not the first time that the marketing of menu items misled me into consuming animal products. A few weeks earlier, I had called the restaurant ahead of time to ask whether the Immunity Broth was vegan. I was assured that yes, it was, indeed vegan. When I ate the broth, it tasted like chicken, and I called back the next day and was told that it is actually chicken-based. REBOL, please respect your customers' dietary restrictions. Whether someone is vegan or vegetarian, has allergies, food intolerances, or other reasons for not eating certain foods, everyone deserves to eat what they are being told they are eating. Food was good, staffing and some logistics could be improved. Walked in and immediately heard the staff arguing in the kitchen. Not a great way to set the tone. I walked up to the register (which still displayed the total from the previous customer) and waited for a while. Finally the party behind me realized that it was self-ordering on the screen. We both had to go find working screens -- and we didn't see any signs that we were supposed to use the screens to begin with. Ordered and the food came, tho my drink was made without the main ingredient and had to be re-made. Açaí bowl is really good here, and alone makes this place deserving of 5 stars. This was a pleasant surprise considering it's in the midwest and I have a snobby foodie point of view when it comes to açaí, living in California and frequenting Hawaii. Açaí bowl ($9) - topped with bee pollen, grain-free granola (nuts, seeds, etc. but the consistency is such that you don't miss the oatmeal at all), and a great mix of fruit on top (bananas, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries). Really good fruit to granola to açaí ratio. Açaí has a good flavor without being overly sweet. The fruits and bee pollen make it so you don't need honey. It is also super pretty--I'll take a pic if I'm able to get it again before I leave! Paleo smoothie ($8) - primarily contains blueberries, bananas, and bone broth, amongst other healthy ingredients. We were a bit skeptical about the bone broth, thinking it might give it a savory taste, but it didn't, you don't taste it--workers said it's basically a protein powder. Size is a bit small (think small to medium size cup). Location is great, the only establishment in public square right next to the outdoor floor water feature. If you're staying in Tower City, you can practically walk there while staying indoors, it's super convenient. Free coffee with yelp check in, and also free coffee if you're able to stand on this vibrating platform for at least a minute. It's a really intense vibration that's supposed to speed muscle recovery--I didn't like it, so I only lasted 10 sec, but I'm a wuss. read more

I stayed in Cleveland for five days and ate here at least 3 days in a row (after I discovered it). I tried the Vegan Powebol and the Acai Bowl and both were delicious. Especially the Vegan Powebol which was so delicious and left me feeling surprisingly full! I liked that they gave the option of ordering through their touchscreen or in line with a person. However, one of the days I visited there was an issue with the touchscreen ordering. There was also very awkward and limited seating which I think could definitely be improved! read more

Fast, fresh and full of flavor. This was my first visit and it was delicious. I ordered at the kiosk and made my own bowl. It walked me through picking my ingredients and paying. Bulletproof coffee would have been fine but they forgot to add the monk fruit sweetener I requested so it was sort of sour. Overnight oats were deliciously creamy yet not too sweet. Vegan (I think) brownie tasted of coconut and had the gummy consistency of it along with a fudgy density that places it above the Town Hall vegan brownie but still not great. Greek Freak breakfast sandwich (served until lunch menu starts at 11am) was pretty good but needed more sauce whether it be salsa or crema or mayo. It was real egg with some raw red onion and cucumbers over a light yogurt sauce (didn't catch any goat cheese here) on a soft brioche bun. Paleo chocolate chip cookie was the best paleo CCC I've had- falling apart yet just sweet enough and with good flavor. Worst part about this place is the lack of parking. The nearest lot is $10 jus to stop your engine and there isn't any street parking within two blocks or so. You have to cross three busy intersections at least from nearest street parking which stinks. The regular chocolate chip cookie was also one of the best I've had in a long time. It was greasy and almost lightly fried on the crispy edges yet immediately turned to soft squishy goodness in the middle. Vegan Powerbol Sweet Potato Fries Paleo Smoothie Stopped in during visit to Cleveland. Early lunch crowd didn't phase the good customer service. Order was out quickly and I ate inside. Nice views of Public Square and downtown while I ate. The falafel was cooked well and I liked their twist on the Middle Eastern classic with the red pepper. All of the sauces/guacamole/hummus tasted from scratch and were pleasing. The fries were seasoned which I don't normally prefer but these were excellent. For lunch today i decided to stop by this fairly new restaurant called Rebol. The out side patio is so beautiful and peaceful. It is actually inside public square area, which has a nice scenery, especially for lunch. I love poke bowls (Hawaiian seafood salad) this restaurant seems to have a similar type of menu. I am obsessed with tuna so i got a Tuna bol. I give it a 7/10. It's a difference taste then a "poke bowl" but it isn't bad!
