Honestly probably closer to a 2 Star BUT the empanadas gave it a little bump. My gf and I came here two days in a row. The first day to try coffee and we saw they had empanadas! We liked them so much we came back again. The issue is we were both charged differently each day! When we asked about it we were told only certain empanadas were part of the discount but that's not what the menu says. Menu: 2 for $7 or 3 for $9 Day 1: charged $8 for 2 Day 2: charged $9.60 for 3 Another thing was that I had ordered an iced beverage and they said their ice machine was broken. That's fine, it happens. Instead of asking if I wanted it hot, I was served a room temp latte. We were hanging out on the patio for a bit and saw a worker come in with ice bags so I went inside to ask for ice and they just seemed annoyed. I like that this location is by an artificial turf area where kids can lounge and play. There's both indoor and outdoor seating here. The outdoor space has two pretty water features that adds to the upscale and relaxing outdoor ambience. Their menu features seasonal offerings and fun ingredients I haven't seen at other coffee places like some sort of mushroom product in the drink. Their merchandise includes individual filter drip coffee, modern tumblers and more. The cashier was friendly to me and my baby. I liked how the drink was in a sippy cup and didn't need a straw. The vibe is modern, minimalistic, urban and clean The bad: There was chocolate that accumulated a bit at the bottom of the cup from the beginning of getting the drink. The veggie burrito ($7.50) seemed a bit small but I was in a rush and Reborn looked like the closest and fastest option to pick up a late lunch on the go. The burrito was mostly filled with scrambled egg and cheese, with a little spinach, potato cubes, bell pepper, and onion added in. I ate an apple at home to top it off and was full enough. The 12-ounce hot jasmine green tea ($5.50) was comforting on a drizzly, cloudy day. The fresh, clean, fragrant floral notes with a tinge of bitter finish were a perfect complement to the cheesy burrito. The hot tea is served with the tea bag in it, so your flavor may vary depending on when you remove the tea bag (I steeped it a minute or so until it was a medium golden color). While running errands in the mall, it was already past lunchtime when I found Reborn Coffee in the open air area toward Sepulveda (or PCH, as it's also called). Decided that it would be faster to pick up something there, instead of trying to get takeout from one of the sit-down restaurants or getting in the car and stopping somewhere else. It was busy at 1:30 but the line moved along. It's a small and clean spot, with a little seating inside and out. Staff was hustling behind the counter but they were attentive and called out names when orders were ready, that personal touch is appreciated. Atmosphere was chill, customers were relaxed and nice. Reborn Coffee offers your traditional coffee favorites. Additionally, they offer small bites to enjoy as well. I went with my usual iced vanilla latte. I've also been very into avocado toast and I've found myself comparing toast. Lol When I saw they offer avocado toast I had to try it. My latte was yum but my toast was blah. For me, to be a toast, the bread needs to be toasted right? Well, unfortunately for me, my bread was not toasted which made the whole thing not very good. I'm always excited when new coffee spots open up in the South Bay and so was ecstatic to hear about the grand opening of Reborn Coffee! The new Reborn Coffee is at Manhattan Village (at former spot of Edo Bites). They've got just a few tables inside but a nice outdoor patio where one can sit and dine. Their menu features 8 different cold brew concentrate, whole bean coffee and delicious pastries and toasts. I chose to get their speciality blueberry matcha drink and their avocado toast. It was $19 total for both. Admittedly a bit pricey but will also say quite the delicious treat too. I really liked the blueberry matcha drink. It was the perfect mixture of both flavors and not too sweet. I also really liked the avocado toast that had the nice touch of radishes and tomatoes. Overall this place is a nice addition to the South Bay and I can see myself coming back for more coffee and food. read more

I work in the area and have been a frequent customer since they opened up. The drinks are made to order and are all enjoyable. I personally prefer their coffee-based drinks in comparison to their matcha, I haven't had a time where I liked the matcha whenever ordering it there unfortunately. They do have pastries and some hot food items but I've only had the empanadas and they were very tasty, I've heard good reviews about the breakfast burritos but everytime I go they're sold out so hopefully I'm able to try it one day. Workers are always so friendly and they make sure each cup is made correctly each time. I like how they have seating outside because it makes for a nice spot to work when the weather is out, the inside is kind of tiny but they do have a few tables to sit inside. Stopped by for the first time, while visiting Manhattan Village. Tried their Strawberry Matcha Latte with almond milk. This is by far the best matcha i've had in Manhattan beach area. It was so good and the color of the matcha was that deep green color that it should be. This means they use high quality "ceremonial grade" matcha powder. The strawberry puree tasted fresh and not artificial. I believe they use real strawberries to make their strawberry puree because it is just so delicious. This will definitely be my go to spot for matcha. The service was also very fast and the barista made my matcha in the bowl with the whisk. The place was very cute and had indoor and outdoor seating.
