Alex tried to deny me service for my service dog, which I clearly stated is my service dog and provides me with this service. He made a smirking remark and said, "Don't let him smell around my store. Don't let him pee you. You're going to pick up after him, of course, I'm going to do that. I'm going to try my best, but he's very well-trained and is my service animal. I also carried my pepper spray in my left hip , and Alex decided to mention that it was his or mine. I asked him what he meant , I said "No, it's my pepper spray. No, I'm not stealing." I explained that I was with my two children and my service animal, and that he was still trying to make me feel uncomfortable in his store.!! I believe that this is not the appropriate way to talk to people or make remarks. I strongly believe that the store should improve its customer service and ensure that they have a visible sign indicating that they allow service animals. The lady working at the counter looked at me and shook her head. She said, "Estas segura?". ( are you sure?) " Es muy, muy picante". I said, "yes", "Si". "Me gusta mucho spicy" I said in my "Spanglish". She shook her head in disbelief, looked at me right in the eyes and started walking backwards holding up one finger. "Un Momento" she said. She then called in the back for someone, not breaking eye contact with me. Another lady came out and asked the first lady something , ( I did not hear). The lady she called out for, walked up to the counter, her brow furled. "Ma'am", do you understand that she is telling you that this ceviche is very, very spicy?". I nodded my head and said, "Yes, I love hot food". "Es mi favorito". My Spanish sucks and I am embarrassed at my accent when I try to speak it. But I think I got the point across. They both shook their heads and with their eyes opened even wider in disbelief. The first lady handed me my tubs of food and I was on my way. It occurred to me when I got home and I was both crying, sweating and my nose was running while eating this ambrosia of spices; I wouldn't have believed me either. My dishwater blond hair, blue eyes, and middle aged, pasty skin does not come across to anyone as someone who enjoys that kind of pain in their food. I laughed as I took that last bite of my lunch, "The lady was truly worried that she shouldn't sell this to me without getting a second opinion." She was trying to do me a favor. It was sweet really. So anyway, NorthGate Market is just the best . They really care about their customers.

So I left with only 3 scratchers of $20. I went back today 12/26. But before I went in I called the store at 1:09pm and asked to speak with the manager and the lady that answered said he wasn't there I asked what time he was coming in she said she didn't know because he never had a set time. So I told her I'm the woman that had the incident with the lottery kiosk. She quickly answered ok you can come in but it has to be now, now. They are full of bullshit so I told her I was on my way. When I got to the store the rude lady was only giving me $20. Which I told her it's not $20 it's $40. She was not happy about it and argued it so I told straight up get me the manager. He came out I tried explaining it in the most polite way as possible but he was also rude and well on his dam phone. I still told him I'm missing another $20. He said he was going to check the cameras again. I told him do it I can wait, or if he wanted me to come back after checking the cameras again I had no problem I even offered him to give my phone number. But he didn't instead he gave me the missing $20. Then I told the mean lady to cash a winning scratcher from the 3 I got on 12/25. The fkng lady ignored me so I told the manager and he said that she was nervous which there's not need for her to be nervous all I was asking was to cash my scratcher. He also said to be nice while still on his phone, I thought it was for me so I answered I'm always nice. The lady ended up cashing the scratcher the manager gave me the missing $40 from 12/25 but fudge with a god dam attitude. AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER I FELT VERY DISRESPECTED AND TREATED AS A LIER. People forget that because of us customers their stores are still open. This is extremely disappointing. They need to do better with their attitudes toward us the customers.
