Only downside is the location and finding parking if you're coming from another city or the other side of LB... this is a cute coffee shop on the inside. Unfortunately I ordered a lavender blueberry Matcha tea latte with oat milk and pretty sure it didn't have any lavender blueberry in it because it tasted like oat milk with a little Matcha tea. There was absolutely no flavoring. Also,, by looking at it, it was solid green so whether they mixed it in or whatever, but there was no layers like most Macha teas I've ordered from other coffee shops. read more

Parking here is easy, as there's a nearby parking lot with 2 hours free parking (not full even on a Saturday afternoon) around the block. The staff are welcoming and attentive, ready to answer questions and take orders. I ordered my typical iced latte, and it was pretty small for $7 after tax (pre-tip). Having visited a variety of coffee shops though, I have to admit that their beans are amazing and boast a rather sweet and reservedly bold profile. Light hip hop plays in the background, perfect for any casual conversations or background noise if that is one's preference for working / studying. This place does seasonal flavors well! It's always fun to see what flavors they drop. The owner puts a ton of thought into the flavors and it shows. The service is pretty fast even when busy and the staff is welcoming. I love their midnight chai, taste like fall but iced is the way to go. I love how welcoming everyone is here and how thoughtful they are with their drink creations. This is such a special place and I feel so lucky to live so close to it that I can walk. You can tell how much Brooklyn and Dan care about the people who come in and make an effort to learn about them too. It was filled up in the afternoon on a weekday. It also gets really cold in there. I wish the heater was on because everyone was wearing a jacket in there and I wish the front door automatically closed because it is left open. The staff was really friendly. Still my favorite cafe in Long Beach. No one makes a mocha like they do (except for a cafe in San Diego called Public Square - their mochas are the ones to beat). The best part I would say about this coffee shop is the interior decor. It felt very homey almost as if you're in a friends episode. A great place to come chill with friends or do some work. The drinks are priced on the more expensive side and I was surprised with how small the size of my cup was for how much I paid. Additionally, the coffee wasn't something extraordinary either, it was just okay. The pastries were pretty good though, sadly they were given to us cold, and we weren't asked if we wanted them warmed up. I work in customer service and there's no way to speak to a customer in a condescending way as if they're dumb and you know better.
