We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday and were told the wait would be 45 minutes to 1 hour. We understood it was busy and put our name down. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, we checked back in, only to be told they had no idea when we'd be seated. We gave it another 10 minutes, but still no timeline or update. I completely understand that restaurants get slammed and wait times can be unpredictable. What was frustrating wasn't the wait itself - it was the lack of honest communication. If it was going to be a 1.5-2 hour wait, just tell us upfront so we can make an informed decision about our evening. Honestly, the host seemed to have forgotten about us as she seemed surprised and scrolled way down the list to find our name even though we were "top of the list". After waiting over 1.5 hours with no end in sight and getting increasingly hungry, we had to leave and grab food elsewhere. With three hosts working, I would have expected better expectation management than what we experienced tonight. I hope this was just an off night, but we left disappointed and hungry.

The wontons were wonderfully crispy, and not greasy at all, and they were very generous with the portion. I liked the sweet-and-sour sauce, it was sweet and just a little bit tangy. I had the Matcha milk tea, it was creamy and had a wonderful flavor. It's hard to describe the flavor of Matcha, but I do like it. It was a bit sweet, and just a bit savory. They asked me if I wanted the Boba pearls, which I did because I like them a lot, and they were very generous with them. A milk tea and an order of wontons was only nine bucks. Extremely reasonable.
