I've never been a fan of this place. I'll start by saying that. But I bring my daughters here cuz they like the kids chairs. I brought my EIGHT year old today and said she couldn't sit in the kids chairs cuz she's "too big". My daughter looked at me and started to CRY!!! Then when I asked the price for a kids pedicure "for her, $23" which is the same price for adults. She proceeded to tell me it's cuz they do the same thing on her that they would do for an adult. I asked if they could still do a "kids pedicure" and I was told no cuz she has to fit in the kids chairs. My child isn't overweight. She's tall!! So since she's allegedly "too big" for the kids chairs.....an EIGHT year old doesn't qualify for a kids pedicure. Beware. I'll never be back. I'll take my 8 & 4 year old to the salon by Safeway which is way better, nicer, and they do better work. There they do kids pedicures regardless of what chair they sit in. read more

Would rate a zero but that isn't an option. I made an appointment for my daughter and her friend to have their nails done together for my daughters birthday. I made sure that they would be done side by side and at the same time. A walk in came in and the lady threatened to leave if her and her daughter didn't get pedicures right then. They took her and her daughter making my daughter and her friend have to wait and not be done together! We had an appointment! I had confirmed that they would be done together! They were not started together. My daughters friend sat for quite a while while my daughter started her manicure. Not the experience we had made the appointment for. Never coming here again. Horrible experience. They chose to cater to a walk in who threatened to leave and made an appointment wait. Will not be back. Will tell everyone I know not to come here. At lease at Tracy's they are on it. read more

I don't think I've ever written a bad review on yelp, but felt the need to leave one here. I've come here a few times and have even referred in multiple people. I will not be coming back. The service has gotten worse and worse every time, quickie and painful pedicures, gels that don't last and dip that is done less than average. KEEP LOOKING - it's just not worth it. read more

I was in town and wanted a pedicure, but I basically got a crappy color change. I was able to walk in for a pedicure and the pedicure was cheep (around $20) so I guess I got what I paid for... - minimal cutting of cuticles - barely scrubbed my heels and literally didn't touch the balls of my feet. I left with the same calluses I came in with. - massaged only with oil, no lotion - used a dry towel to absorb the oil after (left me greasy and was not very soothing) -painted the clear top coat WAY too thick. Even after sitting under the little fans for 10 minutes my toes were still not try and ended up getting messed up because the top coat was simply too thick. Overall it seemed like it may depend which nail tech you get. I also think they treat regulars MUCH better than walk-ins. read more

I've always been paired with the same lady to get my nails done, even when I've been asked if it's okay for me to see anyone when I've called to make my appointment. At first, this lady did good. Then I noticed what I'd asked for never came out as I had requested. After a few months, this last time she did my nails and I told her they are not what I requested. She told me that this is what I always get and I said yes but it's never what I ask for and I do not like it nor am I happy. I was already there for over 1 hour. She had to redo everything from the beginning and that meant soaking my nails in acetone again. She was not happy as I could see in her facial expression and she kept silent. To add, when she had done my pedicure, twice she cut up my two toes. When all was done, time of payment came and before I had a chance to tip, she asked me for tip money!!! She in my opinion did not deserve a tip though out of respect, I was going to tip but not as much so the tip to her was less. She took the money and walked away not saying anything and left. There are other ladies here who really do fantastic work, who I will be seeing next time. read more

Super bummed. I have come here regularly for about 5 years. I always get the same pedicure (special) and have always been pleased until the last few times. Today, I called ahead and still was waiting outside for 20 minutes (they said come in 30, and I did, so nearly an hour wait total). Then, my pedicure took literally 15 minutes. I get when it's a busy weekend, but it seemed to be slowing down so felt unnecessarily rushed out. Didn't even ask which pedicure/to upgrade. I left feeling super disappointed because I waited more than twice the length of time I was in the chair, and didn't even get what I came for--the extended massage. They're all really nice but things haven't been the best here lately, I'm super sorry to say, and I don't know if I'll be coming anymore. read more

They took my mom and I right away for a mani/pedi and did an amazing job with everything. The ladies here are so nice and considerate, my technician made sure everything was perfect before sealing my mani with a gel coat! And the foot massage with the pedicure was incredible. Prices are so reasonable especially for the high quality service they provide. If I lived in the area I would be a regular! read more

I just BLEW $23 on a manicure--which included a $5 tip because this is one of those salons where the greedy owner won't let you tip on your card. (I usually don't even have cash--so I gave her what i had.) After I paid and walked to my car, I put on my glasses. MY FEET LOOKED LIKE COMPLETE CRAP. I went straight back into the salon, mortified and apologetic. Seriously. I should have looked. I've just never seen such a godawful job. Did she forget a basecoat? It looks like she dragged the brush through sand. The second job: AS BAD AS THE FIRST. I treated myself: I'm seeing a bunch of doctors and I didn't want someone seeing my awful feet. Now they are just as embarrassing as before and I am out $25 for a pedicure a ten-year-old might have done better. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. Pretty miffed. TWO HOURS, $23 for NOTHING. Worse than nothing. UGLY PEDICURE. But the woman next to me had a good one. LATER EDIT: I called and the owner said to come in tomorrow and they would fix it. It had better not be the same woman, third time--and I will NOT tip again. The bad painter can give my $5 tip to whoever fixes her horrible work. (She did give an okay massage, though.) GO HERE. If you want GREAT customer service and FABULOUS nails, GO HERE. For a long time I was an avid goer of Tracy's Nails, however most of the customer service the nail technicians give is horrible. Lisa at Red Carpet Salon is gentle and respectful. She makes conversation and she makes sure her work is top-notch for who ever she is doing nails for. I had been late to my last appointment and she was very nice about it. She still took me at 6:30, even though they close at 7 and she didn't leave until close to 8. Go to Red Carpet Salon, ask for Lisa! They have so so many colors, designs, services. I have been getting pedicures at this nail salon for over a year now. I usually get #2, which includes a foot massage with hot stones. I like to get "diamonds" too; I enjoy flashing a little toe bling. All of the people that work here do a good job, though some ladies are especially good at massage and I am happy when they work on me. Every once in a while, I treat myself to #3 which includes a short hot stone table massage, and I have had good experiences with that. I am a massage therapist so I know a good massage. The reason I am writing this review is because I just received really outstanding service from this business. I had some of my "diamonds" break off shortly after my pedicure, and I returned the next day when they were closing, and they even had the light off but the door was still open. I offered to return another time, but they immediately turned the light back on and insisted they would fix it for me right then. They were so sweet about it and now my toes are pretty and perfectly bejeweled. Highly recommend this place. read more

Got acrylic nails done. 1 came off 3 days later and they still charged for fixing it. Left a nail glue on the skin around the nail they fixed and didn't bother to remove it. Left a thick layer of glue under the nail (that is usually being removed) and did not remove it either. The nail came out not straight, but unfortunately I only noticed it after I got back home. If I have to waste my own time driving to the salon to fix the bad job that they did, pay for it, and not even get a good job on a single nail, that is a one-star review from me. read more

I was referred here by a friend. She swears that her pedicures always last for at least a month from Red Carpet. My pedicure didn't last a month. BUT, it was done extremely well. I got the second mani/pedi choice (not sure if it was B or 2-whatever.) But, it was awesome! From the hot towels to the warm stone massage, I was in heaven. Minus one star for no massage chair. Alright, here is my revision. I think my pedi has taken a decline since my first visit. It seems that each time I am in they get me in and out faster and faster. Pedicures are basically the same price as Tracy's, and in my opinion, are much better! The women at Red Carpet actually give a really nice massage, and they even use a hot stone! I came here as a "treat yoself" kind of day, but regretted it. I've been here before, but I got someone new this time and unfortunately I can't remember her name. I got a pedi and when she was removing the cuticle and cleaning, she gave me a cut on more than one of my toes! I didn't have the nerve to say anything right then and there, but I was in pain for several days after that. Don't come here. It's very dirty, they do not clean their tools or even use new files, buffers or sponges to clean your feet with and hands for that matter. I've come here about 6 times - I liked it at first because the 1 main lady that does waxing and the other gal at first station are nice and accommodating. I have fungus on 4 of my toes and I was getting acrylic on them, they agreed to do it and gave some pointers to help it get better - so I didn't care about the uncleanliness because I already have it, but I do not think it's fair for the next person. I just got a pedicure on Sunday, I wore black suede shoes and they stained my white gel so I came in today to get a color change on my toes and nails. I also decided I didn't want acrylic on my toes because they weren't making them any better besides visually. The older woman that was doing my toes was going to just polish the jagged edge of my big toe then file it after (because I was getting gel). I asked she file first because the nail is discolored and if she did that she would break the seal of gel polish at the top of my nail and you would see it. She wouldn't even look at me, she just started talking in a different language to the lady that was doing my nails - you could tell I pissed her off. It was down hill from there, my nails look like bowling pins. I came in with sharp square like nails and she did all these top coats. I asked her if she could file them for shape after like the lady was going to do on my toes - then she told me she already did. Then once it comes time to pay I still tipped them because they still gave me a service but it wasn't as much as I generally would if I liked them. Then they start cracking smiles and telling me thank you! The change in their demeanor just really bothered me. It's cheap there but I still don't think it's worth it. read more

I have known her for a couple years and I don't go anywhere else to get anything done, the numerous compliments I get from my nails to my eyebrows is what always has me coming back. So I went to this salon 2 times now and three first time was a good experience I had a normal polish done and it was done well. My second experience now was pretty bad, so for my birthday my mom set up and appointment for me and my friend to get our nails done, I got a gel French manicure and my friend got a white gel polish. We walked in and had to wait for a while and also they did some people who walked in for their nails done (without an appointment) before us and we had an appointment scheduled! Not only that but my mom asked and confirmed specifically that me and my friend got our nails done at the same time and sitting next to each other, we did get to sit next to each other but I got half of my nails done and then finally somebody came to do my friends nails. The lady even said on the phone that me and my friend would be getting our nails done at the same time next to each other. The nails turned out really good and everything I just wish me and my friend could have had a better experience. This is why I gave the salon 2 stars. read more

I went here about a year and a half ago and really liked it, they did a good job and were very friendly. I went back a few weeks ago to get my nails done for my wedding and brought all my bridesmaids and mothers (8 people total) you would think that they would be happy to have so many people come in and to have the service, apparently not. Thankfully I had 2 bridesmaids who spoke Vietnamese. The entire time we were there, all the nail people sat there talking trash about us while smiling at us to make us think they were being nice. They called us B****'s, and told all the workers to do minimal work on our nails because we were young and they wouldn't know that they were ripping us off!! They made my nails look like poo, some of my nails were rounded some were square, there were globs of nail polish that wouldn't dry on my fingers, when I asked them to fix it, she made it look worse. My nails looked better before I went into Red Carpet Nails. I don't care how clean or nice these people pretend to be, THEY SUCK! I would never go back to this place even if they said they would give me everything for free. read more
