Food is not good. I had stomach ache after having the Haleem. When I got the Haleem I had a feeling it was not fresh. Owners attitude is not good to their custmers. If you are Indian or other nationalities other than Pakistani don't even bother to get a smile back from the owner. I'm not Indian but I'm just saying from my observation. Also I was asked by the waiter to tip him cash cause owner won't pay the tip to his waiter!! How sad. Owner should be ashamed for doing this. I won't go to this place again. The sauce sucked, had no flavor, and was tasteless, the chicken was so dry and hard to chew. The Channa Masala was the over-kill with salt, you couldn't even get past the grossly saltiness taste to enjoy it at all. Not only the worst Indian food, I have ever had but just the worst food ever of anywhere. Do not waste your money at this place, do not go here! Such a disappointment! If you love spicy food, then this is definitely the place to be. I booked a reservation for a party, and the restaurant manager was very courteous, helpful and accommodating, especially when I had to tell him that more people would be attending--last minute. The staff was very nice, especially when there were a lot of people that came for my party. Just note that it can seem crowded with 30 people, since the Red Chili Express accommodated my reservation in the evening, as opposed to the Red Chili Restaurant. (The Red Chili Restaurant and Express are separate places, but from the same owner. From my understanding, the Express closes later than the Restaurant, so just make a note of what time you want a reservation.) The food was very pleasant. I'm not a big spicy food fan, but I just wanted to eat my nihari (boneless beef chunks in spicy sauce) because it's tasty! Just don't forget to order a side of rice or naan if you're like me. They do have non-spicy dishes as well, such as the different masala varieties (which are very creamy and rich, by the way). But it's not named Red Chili for nothing! So yummy! Went today on thanksgiving afternoon. So good we had the chicken tikka masala. It was so creamy and THICCCC. Wow. I also had the mango lassi, like a creamy mango yogurt drink. Love it. I had to pick up some tandoori chicken kabob roti sandwiches and seekh kabob. I came early at 11 am and got very quick service the food was ready quickly and it tasted awesome. I come here once or twice a month and always loved the food. Last two visit here were not that great in terms of food. Seekh Kababs has no taste, Nihari was like water added to it and chicken karahi had a lot of oil in it. I am not sure if the staff in the kitchen changed or they are just cutting corners. This place is great the lunch barg is great price and its the same meat as the dinner they dont give you shish kabob instead like some lunch specials. This restaurant ended up being the type of place where you had to know exactly what to order and what to avoid in order to love this place. I had the unfortunate experience of not knowing this when we came in with a group of friends and ended up ordering an assortment of things from the menu and having a terrible experience. The ONLY two things you should order. Lamb or Chicken Biryani One of their 3 platters that come with rice. For example the Chicken Bukari If you don't believe me, you can read all the 4 stars or above reviews with everyone raving about how good the Biryani is. I agree the Biryani was really good. Now the Bad Don't order any of the curry dishes. You will be very disappointed. The portions are a joke with tiny plates that are unshareable and we even received a dish with just 3 cuts of meat and nothing but layered on sauce. That particular plate felt like maybe it was precooked and they scooped up the bottom of the pot remains and served us. They had multiple rice selections and we ordered white rice to eat with our curry's and I was surprised to see yellow Biryani rice come out instead. Small detail that was just adding up on top of the disappointment we were feeling as we stared at our food. The waiter kept trying to push the Naan bread upon us too when we were ordering and it kind of felt a little uncomfortable because I saw the size of the naan bread they were offering by looking at the other tables and it just wasn't worth it for how much they were charging. Don't expect the chai tea to be large either. It comes in a teacup. If you stick to just ordering the Biryani, you will be fine. If you want curry go somewhere else. read more

Tried Red Chili today for the first time based upon the decent reviews and recommendation of a friend. Apparently my friends idea of good Chinese food is much different from mine. The Hot and Sour Soup was thick and gummy tasting. The shredded pork in garlic sauce was more sauce than pork. The egg roll was nothing special. Well, I came here over the weekend. And their advertised dishes looked delicious but when I went in, the man gave me a menu and everything I asked for they were not making.
