The food was excellent! Service was awesome! Well worth the money! We barely took home leftovers, it was so good!

People rave about the food here. I ordered a simple shrimp fried rice and it had no flavor at all. The rice was white so how is it fried? We also ordered the Mongolian beef (meh...) bap (no one liked it) the Shu Mai was pretty good but that's it. I won't be returning. Oh the service was a perfect 10 though!!!

I always craving for authentic Chinese food, I'm glad to find this place that truly serves the right cuisine. The server was friendly, I got seated right away. The place was nice and quiet. The price is fair, I have lots of leftover for tomorrow. Going to be a regular.

Red Chili House is located near the heart of the Rancho Cucamonga with about 600 reviews and about a 4 star rating to its name. With the amount of high reviews coming from this spot next to the local 99 Ranch store, I figured it could be a good spot for some takeout. Ordering in on a Friday evening, their Kung Pao Chicken seemed appetizing at a price of $14, so I decided to order this along with a side of rice. Now compared to other restaurants, the Kung Pao Chicken at Red Chilli House is somewhat different in both their ratio and ingredient choices. For starters, the dish was only made up of three ingredients: chicken, peanuts, and chili peppers. Not only this, but the ratio was in favor of meat with only a few peanuts strewn about the dish. For $14 in the Rancho Cucamonga area, I enjoyed the portion size and how generous the portion of chicken was. Each piece was rather thick and the dish was full of meat. But to this fact, I would have wished for more peanuts or some accompanying vegetables. The taste of the dish was also a different take compared to other restaurants in the area. For this particular Kung Pao Chicken, the flavor was sweeter than normal....almost as if an Orange Chicken mixed with a Kung Pao Chicken. Not only this, but the Kung Pao Chicken itself was somewhat crispy and coated with sauce. If this doesn't bother you, then the dish could easily be a great option. Otherwise, the food was very tasty. Despite being covered with the sweet sauce, the chicken itself was both flavorful and leaned more on the dry side. The spice of the dish faded more towards the background, but was present nonetheless. Kung Pao Chicken is a very particular dish that usually is made in a specific manner. And with this unique take, I wasn't too sure at first about whether I was truly enjoying it or not. But after thinking about this dish more, I do find certain aspects of it to be charming. Sure the taste of the dish is definitely catered towards those craving "Americanized" Chinese food. However, I would argue Red Chilli House's Kung Pao Chicken easily deserves 4 stars for its generous portion of chicken and cohesive flavor. I would more than likely try something else the next time I drop by. But the Kung Pao Chicken here screams comfort in many great ways.

I was so looking forward to trying this place. We ordered a variety of different items. We ordered the beef noodles which seemed to be the best dish. We ordered the pork buns, shui mai, egg rolls, sizzling chicken plate, and pig ear. I would recommend the beef noddles and sizzling chicken plate. Definitely had to drench everything in chili oil and hot sauce. Was really hoping for more flavor with the dishes.

This is my second time here. The first time we ended up leaving because we waited about 20 minutes for the food and we had a doctors appt we were going to be late to, so we canceled the order. This time we didn't have an appt. We came around 2pm on a Tuesday. We were the only ones here, yet the food still took about that long to arrive! Service was alright. We wanted dim sum in the area. I would say none of the dim sum restaurants are as good as Rowland Heights. We were desperate. The prices here are reasonable. The portions are small. I ended up ordering more food because we were still hungry. Likes: Beef chow fun was good. They didn't skimp on the beef. Shrimp har gow was pretty close to the authentic ones. Mocha cream bun and Mango Pomela buns were unique and tasty! Dislikes: pork ribs had very little meat on the ribs. It didn't taste right. Xiao long bao was over cooked. Did not have enough soup in it. Butterfly shrimp was skinny and too fried. I would say that Get Sum Dim Sum in Ontario would be my preferred place to go

My mother and I drove from Orange County to Rancho Cucamonga to visit the new MINISO store. After shopping, we decided to dine at Red Chilli House, conveniently located in the same shopping center as MINISO. Although the restaurant is not spacious, it has ample seating for those who wish to dine in, though many patrons opt for takeout. I am delighted that we visited Red Chilli House, as the cuisine was phenomenal, boasting great flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions at a reasonable price point. The service was satisfactory, with minimal communication required after ordering. However, we felt attended to, for example by the courteous gentleman who periodically provided us with fresh napkins, demonstrating a thoughtful and attentive demeanor.

I keep coming back to Red Chili House Chinese restaurant since I relocated to Rancho Cucamonga three years ago. It is my default Chinese restaurant for good reason. The food consistently stands out for its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Every dish I've tried tastes homemade and true to traditional recipes, which is rare to find elsewhere in the area. It is a testament to the chef's dedication to using authentic ingredients when I learned that their wonton soup is made of long-simmered broth instead of MSG-added water! What really sets this place apart is the value. The prices are at least 30% lower than comparable restaurants with similar quality, making it a fantastic option for anyone who wants great food without breaking the bank. The portions are generous, and you can taste the care put into each meal. Beyond the food, the restaurant has a low-key, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed--perfect for a casual meal after a busy workday or catching up with friends. I get to know the owner-chef who takes real pride in his work. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone in Rancho area seeking authentic Chinese cuisine at an affordable price!

Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

There's lots of traffic so be weary of the cars that pass by and when we went there were tons of people. We walked in and they took our name and phone number and about a 40 min wait. This place can probably fit 40 people, it's so small. We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

I thought the salad was tasty and I liked the wontons on top. The appetizer came out quickly too, but I didn't like the taste of the filling for the vegetable spring rolls. I wish I tried something else. Next, my group shared all the entrees we requested. The Mongolian beef had a burnt taste and the portion was lacking for this one. The firecracker shrimp had quite a fishy taste which made it feel perhaps expired. I liked the crispy honey shrimp, though my peer thought the breading was stale. The brown rice was fine and we felt the white rice was undercooked. Unfortunately the service was also not ideal as he did not come by to refill our drinks. There were a lot of tables around us celebrating birthdays. The booth right behind us too.
