Bottom Line: I've eaten yogurt all over North County and this place is ok. The Details: They had about ten flavors of yogurt and then a counter full of toppings. Some of the toppings, like Fruity Pebbles cereal, seems so gross to me but I assume they appeal to kids. My go-to yogurt selection at any place is cake batter with some sort of crushed candy bar or Reese's Pieces. For some reason the cake batter yougurt here was very watery and icey. It tasted like ice milk which was a bummer. They didn't have any of my go-to toppings so I settled for mini-M&Ms. As a few others stated, this place isn't bad, its just not special either. read more

I was a little taken back by the service that my daughter and I received here the other day. We have been loyal customers of the location for quite a while, and have brought in friends and family the past few years. (Literally live 60 seconds away by walking) I guess everyone has a off day, BUT this is the second time within the week maybe 10 days that the service was off and I was a lil disappointed at the uncleanliness of all the toppings that goes on the selected yogurt. It's a fairly standard froyo type of store, with multiple softserve options as well as toppings -And while the toppings are a little limited in selection, they're still pretty good. Price for an average couple cup will run you 5 to 6 dollars- So don't think you're going to get away cheap, but it's a fairly good option for us fairly healthy dessert. there are nondairy options as well as lowfat options and low-fat toppings that you can select. read more

I usually don't do 5 star reviews, but this yogurt shop is unique to most yogurt shops because it offers non-dairy, a NSA (no sugar added), and ice-cream soft/serve or frozen yogurt as well. It is a family-owned place and kid friendly. The store is clean and toppings are filled up nicely. Each yogurt shop is different, and this one is unique and by the beach. You could come in grab some yogurt and just walk there and enjoy a good treat with amazing views. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed. The prices are reasonable! My favorite combination in the world is an evening of sushi followed by frozen yogurt. I'm not sure why but they take up the same space in my mind and have to be eaten shortly after each other. Luckily the sushi lunch joint we wandered into was right next to this frozen yogurt shop (isn't that always the case?). I was literally miliseconds before a big rush. As I was paying 7 people walked in. Whoo. They had a good amount of offerings of yogurt. I especially enjoyed the names of the swirl combinations. For example, Vanilla on the right, Coffee on the left, Vanilla Latte in the swirl! Cute. I have also never seen individually wrapped fun size candies as options as toppings. This section had a lot of empty spaces but I was able to find a baby Twix. Yum It was a little expensive but my large quantities of frozen yogurt usually are. The yogurt was okay in quality. Though many customers tend to praise upcoming self-serve yogurt places for their wide variety, I am now starting to find it a slight disadvantage. There has been many an instance where I have set my heart on pouring myself a helping of mango tart. Suddenly, the chocolate fudge brownie attempts to seduce me into rethinking my options. I end up compromising by making a mango brownie. This place has a great balance of fruity and sweet, and the combination levers in between are thought-out compilations of the two (example, Mango Smoothie, which adds french vanilla; or Pistachio Cupcake, pistachio and birthday cake, which really tastes better than it may sound). I poured out that Mango Smoothie and thought triumphantly to myself, "There, what a nice orderly balance of fruit and dessert!" But then....the toppings. I pile on some fresh fruit when my eye comes across something I have never before seen. 1) REAL CHEESECAKE. The owner could have baked it, or he could've run to Ralph's and bought it. Still, it was undeniably THE cheesecake, not its cubic posers! 2) Chocolate. Freaking. Mousse. A small plastic vat of chocolate paradise. Just when my concoction had begun to make sense rather than my usual "schmearing" together of as many flavors of yogurt and topping as I can, I created a monster that even Frankenstein would call bizarre. I had created was a mango "smoussie." But I have come across NO yogurt place thus far that has carried such divine chocolate mousse, so it was worth the ruin. Next to the usual counter of goodies was an unusual open pantry of assorted candies in jars. When this pantry is full (which it wasn't when I visited), I imagine it to look like Willy Wonka's personal storage space. Licorice, sour belts, and hard candies that would look a little awkward sitting in your yogurt. Nevertheless, it's candy. Expense seems to bother some people at this place. Normally it doesn't bother me, I'm just happy with my yogurt. It was a tad expensive, but the quality of the food, the environment, and the staff would definitely lure me back to this fine establishment. I love this place! Right in the heart of downtown Oside, around the corner from the Regal theaters and directly across from public parking. Great view of the pier, and an awesome place to come and have a big cup of yogurt and watch the sun set. Spectacular! The yogurt here is good, and it seems that the machines are always working (not frozen up or out of mix) and clean (not full of spilled 'gurt) like some places are. The topping selection is great, and if you're not into yogurt by the pound, you can grab a back and fill it with candy by the pound. The business itself is always clean and the atmosphere is good. I saw that this was right around the corner and was super excited to grab some yogurt. I have been to a few yogurt places and the important thing is good yogurt and good fresh toppings. I think they hit both perfectly. The yogurt I sampled was delicious. They set most of their flavors up well so they paired to create a cool combination. I chose to go with the salted caramel and sandwich cookie flavor (oreo like) and they were both really tasty. Plus all of the toppings were fresh and clean looking.
