Though we've come here before I decided to give a review this time. My husband ordered the mariners seafood boil with original butter and medium spiciness. He liked everything though didn't like how he had to wear gloves to eat it was so messy. I ordered the pick 4 shrimp your way. Dragon shrimp was good as appetizer but wouldn't order part of meal again, shrimp scampi which is really good, and double of the shrimp linguini Alfredo. The side was the brussel sprouts and those are amazing!! Would definitely get those again. Went here for a friend's birthday dinner and honestly wish we hadn't. As soon as we walked in, the vibe was off. They sat us, but then we waited over 15 minutes for anyone to even take our drink orders while staff and other people just stared at us like we didn't belong there. Our server seemed visibly annoyed that she had to clean a booth for us in the first place. The attitude was uncomfortable from the start. Haven't been in a Red Lobster in years, but my M-I-L wanted to go, so away we went. First, prices have gone up a LOT since my last time. I guess they have everywhere. I did find some reasonably priced options, for example I ordered the stuffed flounder which was quite good, and about $18. They have apparently cut out including a salad as a starter with your meal, I was a bit disappointed. But it is what it is, I guess. Service was... meh. Not bad, not great. Drinks went empty, I had to ask for the cole slaw side I ordered, had to wave her down to get to-go boxes and a tab. The dining room was not understaffed. The kitchen seemed a little slow at getting our food out, for 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon and a 60% empty dining room. The food was all pretty tasty, seemed fresh, and hot. So 3/5 stars. My wife and I went here for lunch yesterday and were very pleased. We both ordered the all you can eat shrimp and it was wonderful. You start with your choice of 3 types of shrimp and your side. There are 5 different types of shrimp and we had 4of the 5 and skipped the shrimp with pasta because we did not want to get filled up with pasta! . All of the varieties were served hot and were delicious. Refills came quickly and were ordered 2 at a time. Of course the biscuits were hot and tasty. Our server, Mandy, could not have been more helpful, friendly or attentive. She even helped me download the Red Lobster app on my phone! The restaurant was clean and bright. The foood was great, but mainly our server, Michelle went way out of her way to make sure that we knew what we were ordering, and then made sure it was served exactly as we asked for it. She came back repeatedly to check if we needed anything, and then cherrfully boxed up all of our leftovers. Michelle made the whole dining experience very enjoyable and we will defintely go back there soon. The lobster and langoustines were mild and topped with lots of cheese and fresh tomato pieces. Love the biscuits - crunchy outside, melt in your mouth interior. Caesar salad tasty but croutons were hard and hard to eat. Maple glazed chicken brushed with wonderful maple-cherry glaze then grilled. My husband likes the wild rice pilaf but I think it's boring so he eats it all. Didn't care for the broccoli we chose as side. Some pieces were raw and crunchy and just didn't like the flavor. Needed salt but that's easy to fix. Some melted butter might have helped. The restaurant was around 3/4 full and there were empty tables but we had to wait 15 - 20 minutes to get seated. I ordered the Ultimate Feast which included a Main Lobster Tail, Snow Crab Legs, Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Walt's Favorite Shrimp aka breaded, fried shrimp with shrimp cocktail sauce, wild rice pilaf and your choice of an extra side, I chose lobster mash potatoes. My BF picked a lunch special which he had a choice of salad, an entree of choice which he picked the crab fettuccine, and a desert choice as well. Mom got the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake filled with Maine Lobster Tails, Shrimp, Scallops, mussels, tomatoes on top of Linguine in a garlic and white wine sauce. We also got the Southwest Style Tacos which comes with 3 tacos on a corn tortilla filled with your choice of chicken, tilapia, shrimp, or lobster (we chose lobster of course!) topped with corn, their avocado salsa and on top of that drizzled with their Jalapeño Ranch. Our waitress brought out drink orders and their bread. Their bread is soft, buttery and sooo good!You literally have to stop yourself from eating the bread because it was non-stop refills and they're just so damn good plus our meals came with salads and soups, so you also get that with the bread, you can easily fill yourself. Not long after, our food comes out. Table filled with multiple dishes. I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical about going to red lobster because of a previous visit to one in Las Vegas. Let me tell you this location was AMAZINGGGG! EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS SO GOOD! I ate everything off of my plate and more! My BF had finish everything off his plate too and was equally surprised. My BF's lunch deal had desert at the end and the waitress was kind enough to bring us 5 spoons for our entire table and made the desert a little bigger than normal for us to all share. After our meal, we shared our experience with our waitress and she was also sharing her work experience with us and how long she's been with Red Lobster as well as the rest of the staff. We found out that many of the staff have been with the company for 20 plus years. Ah, the secret sauce to this place...is the people. The staff was great as well as the food. I usually never write a negative review and always try to be understanding in every situation . But I felt there were too many things that were not right. First off, we were seated at a booth that had a direct view of the soda refill station. There was garbages heaping. Also garbage all over the floor. An unpleasant experience by any other name would probably cost less. First off, they don't know how to weigh lobster. Shrinkage aside, pound and a half and two pounds are very different, fiscally and for your stomach. Second, the lobsters aren't kept correctly or something. This is supposed to be their niche, but the lobsters I've had here are just flat out bitter and usually overcooked. Aside from an exuberant price, the waitstaff every time has been nothing but rude. I had a lobster wrapped in a few strands of hair on my plate. Long, Brown hair, just wrapped around my food. I don't care if you don't eat the shells. Presentation and quality of preparation is key, so I complained. The waiter literally asked me, "What do you want me to do, go in the back and beat up the cook?" I don't care if he was joking. They refused to knock anything off of my bill, even my drink, the last time I was there. Go to Wal-Mart and buy your own seafood, go on Craigslist and hire someone to verbally abuse you while you overcook your food and eat it almost two hours after placing your order. So by the time you get your next helping of shrimp all of the other parties at your table are done eating. Pretty annoying. The food was average. I got the parmesan shrimp and the shrimp scampi. The first serving of scampi was really good, but the second time I ordered it, it looked like it was just microwaved. There were no indications that it was broiled at all. The parmesan shrimp were very good and probably the best part of the dinner. There are so many other options for food in Green Bay. Green Bay's Best of the Bay restaurant contest ranks Red Lobster as having the "Best Seafood" for five years running. That says less about Red Lobster and more about Green Bay's attitudes about seafood. I harbor no delusions that someone wondering which restaurant to go to will actually discover Red Lobster on Yelp, or make a decision about going to Red Lobster based on a Yelp review. One doesn't ever say "Oh yeah! RED LOBSTER!" when discussing places to eat, and if one does, chances are one is not a Yelper. Or maybe I'm being a Yelp snob? Discuss. The real reason I'm writing this review is that we ate at Red Lobster tonight. Yelp, I feel the need to confess this because afterward, we both had the unspoken disappointment with ourselves for having chosen this establishment. It was probably more of a fifth choice, with our first four places being closed for the 4th of July. However, with the majority of Green Bay getting ready to enjoy fireworks downtown, the Florida-based chain restaurant had lots of available tables. (Yes, it's important to note that Red Lobster is from Florida, because they would really really love you to believe that they are from Maine. They are not, and there is not a single Red Lobster in the state of Maine. The more you know.) Our dinner at Red Lobster was, you know, dinner at Red Lobster. The cheddar bay biscuits are basically the chemically-superior method of carb/fat delivery in golden brown garlicky soft pillows of joy. The caesar salad was limp and warm. You know what is not delicious? Warm caesar salad. You can soothe your wounded heart with more biscuits, though, and that's all that matters. Our grilled plates were acceptable: the bay scallops were tiny and in an unappetizing white-ish water. The stuffed flounder was fishy and stuffed with filler that make you forget that you've gotten less than a 3 ounce portion of fish. The shrimp scampi is greasy and delicious and a touch overcooked. Ah well, pass the biscuits! Incidentally, the photo that Yelp has been provided is a commercial photo provided by Red Lobster. Don't fool yourself. Your food won't look like that. It will look like disappointment swimming in white-ish water. The staff, however, is top rated, and basically the best reason to come to Red Lobster. Of course, they are probably the highest-paid waiters in Green Bay, because our grilled platters, at $15 a plate, were one of the cheapest options on the menu.
