Their bathrooms are very clean. Beware of salty food. Coconut shrimp is better than any equivalent for hundreds of miles. Service has been pleasant every visit (about seven times from 2011-12). Draught Yuengling's tall glass' heads are hit or miss, but always delicious. Walk-in area is cozy, you can sit in many places while waiting. Route 80's noise is pretty undetectable with help from low-key bg music (pop usually). read more

Red Lobster ... what can I say? Every time I come here the food is delightfully mediocre. It's never amazing. I know consistency is something every chef wants in their kitchen, but I'm sure this is not what they meant. Let me say that Red Lobster is never bad or disgusting. It's ok. The best thing about the place are the cheddar biscuits. I went here to eat Friday night with some friends (obviously their idea) and it was mediocre, per the usual. It is what I've come to expect from the McDonald's of seafood. Oh ... and before I forget ... when I was there, they ran out of mashed potatoes. They explained the possible substitutes we could order and then told us that there was an up-charge for some items. For the most part our service has been really good at this red lobster. The staff is friendly and we've never had to wait for refills on drinks. We did have somewhat of a bad server one of the last times that we dined in but she was having trouble with the table next to us and I think it had her frazzled. We had to wait a really long time for food and if we asked for anything it was forever before she got it back to us. That was an isolated incident and every other visit has been very nice. read more

I was very disapponted today when me and my family was seated and the waitress went on to take care of the people that came after us. When ask why didnt she help us, she responded someone will be right with you. The manager came assisted us and we explained our concerns. She apologized for what had happened and at the end she sent over the waitress to ask how we were doing. I told the waitress why are you here now, she responded with you were not my table and walked away. The manager gave us our meal for free behind the whole ordeal. I will not go back there again. Came back with my wife and the food and service was great! Usually experiences change the second time around, but not here, so far so good. When we walked in we waited about 15 minutes until we weren't greeted by a server, a server from the other side had to greet us, and a manager never came to apologize for us waiting, but the waiter we ended up getting was extremely nice, shout out to daisy for helping us out! Waitress was very friendly, helpful and prompt. Most of the time, I have pretty nice servers at Red Lobster and this was no different. What was different was that others can tend to be on the slow side when it comes to waiting for your food. Not here!! Not much to say about the food. If you ever eaten in Red Lobster, you pretty much know what you are getting. Crab Lovers Feast was pretty good. King Crab, Snow Crab and Crab Alfredo Pasta. Went in around 6pm tonight (a Thursday)with a party of 5, 3 adults and two "tweens".There was a slight wait, maybe 10 minutes, if that. The host was polite, attentive and even checked on us after being seated to let us know that the server would be right over. Our server was Lee and he was wonderful. He was on top of everything. Timed appetizers, salads and entrees perfectly. He kept up with pre bussing the table, which I notice often times is very lacking in restaurants, busy or not. He was quick with refills, clearing and serving of each course. We had the lobster artichoke dip that was delicious and surprisingly a perfect size for a table of 5. The Parmesan crusted tilapia was an ideal portion size and very tasty. My daughter had tilapia tacos and was disappointed she couldn't finish it all in one sitting. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals and left full. All around, a wonderful meal. Good food, great service and affordable. read more

On vacation we decided to leave the hotel and have dinner at a familiar restaurant so we chose Red Lobster. We get there and a gentleman held the door for us. We walk and and get seated right away. We are thinking this is great. When it was time to pay, we are told they are only accepting cash and there was a sign up front. We said wait! What? Where? And why didn't the person who sat us reiterate they were only accepting cash. Better yet, why didn't our server reiterate they are not accepting cards only cash. The response was "there was a sign up front" (the sign was on the same door that the gentleman held for us, thus why we didn't see the sign). Mind you, on vacation and every single place thus far has indicated they are NOT accepting cash due to the current global pandemic. I was really surprised when my wife wanted to come here for our anniversary dinner. I really hate chain restaurants but she was in a mood for shrimp and lobster so all you can eat shrimp was on the menu so we went. It was a Tuesday and the place wasn't really busy at 5:00 so we were glad about that. We were seated immediately. It took about 5 minutes till a waitress named Sam came to the table and once we were waited on Sam was totally on point. Didn't have to wait for anything. Sam was awesome. I was really surprised that I actually enjoyed the all you could eat shrimp as well. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that my wifes lobster tail was slightly undercooked. read more

Had lunch here, we were seated immediately, not a fan of where we were seated since the place was empty, but whatever. We were given the specials and time to review the menu. There were two in my party we had decided and placed our order. The dinner rolls were delicious as was the ceaser salad. I had the build your lunch, which my wife had chosen the broiled scallops, grilled shrimp with the grilled zucchini and squash as a veggy. The scallops were extremely bland and overcooked as was the shrimp. They were the rubberyest pieces of seafood I have ever eaten. The zucchini and squash were supposed to be grilled, well they had grill marks, but we're the mushiest vegetables ever. I had chosen the sailors platter which had grilled shrimp, breaded shrimp, flounder and the grilled zucchini and squash. Breaded shrimp was good, the flounder was good just very bland, grilled shrimp was overcooked very rubbery and the zucchini and squash which were mush. The service was good, but as we were leaving there was not a single sole at the front of the restaurant to not only day have a nice day, but not even to greet new customers. read more

Our experience was the standard experience you would expect to have here. We had a very well spoken server by the name of Pedro who has great, didn't miss a beat! The only downside was the side of snow crab legs we added on for our daughter- I know they are portioned by weight but this cluster was only two full legs and small claw. I had a pleasant experience at red lobster last Wednesday. My husband, daughter, and I took my mother-in-law out to dinner for her birthday. We were seated immediately which is always a good start for us. My whole family loves the cheddar bay biscuits that arrived shortly after we were seated. My daughter ordered her usual , chicken fingers and french fries. I had the peach glazed shrimp over mashed potatoes with a side of green beans. Everything on my plate was delicious!!! I also enjoyed my caesar salad that preceded my entree. My husband and mother-in-law enjoyed their ultimate feast as they always do. They wont even try anything else!! Young couple who went for an early Valentine's Day dinner as we are in the industry and work on the actual day. Walked in around 8:15 pm and were seen, sat, and greeted in a timely fashion and server was on top of checking our IDs. Nice! My concerns began when I had to point out the bottle of wine we wanted on the menu. Seemed like more than just a reference for her but no big deal. When it came she did not open the bottle or pour it for us. I'd attribute this to either laziness of the server or management or a lack of training. A manager passed our table several times and did not seem concerned we were pouring our own wine. Again, not a huge deal. The server was very sweet and efficient with timing, upselling, and prebussing on the other hand. Bread, salad, and entrees were delivered perfectly! When it came to the food, we were a little disappointed. Everything was very minimally portioned so we were wishing we got a little more for what we paid given the rest of the experience. We could tell (due in part because of training) that the food was also not completely fresh and it could have been warmer. I ordered the green bean mushroom side, said it was new on the menu, but unfortunately my beans were overcooked and a little mushy. I also got a side of scallops. Five of them arrived on an oversize plate with no garnish, another point leaving me feeling a little scammed. He ordered a plate with lobster and snow crab legs. His dish arrived without a cocktail fork or cracker for the legs so we struggled at this point as well. Our fault for not asking though. The end of the meal was were I was feeling the most disappointed, however. I couldn't help but notice we were our server's last table for dinner. We were the last table left in her section by about 9:15. Once she dropped the check to the table beside us she checked on us to see if we were still eating or ready for boxes. We were clearly only about halfway through the meal at that point so I could tell she wanted to leave. By the time the other table left she asked us a second time if we were ready for boxes yet, this time not asking if we were still working, as we still had our forks in hand. I got annoyed and felt rushed at that point but he politely said yes, two boxes. She returned with the boxes and offered dessert. Given the occasion I would have loved to sit and have dessert and finish my wine with him, but I of course also know the 'last-table-always-fucking-gets-dessert' feeling. Her attitude could have easily changed our decision had we felt more welcome. Left feeling bummed as we would have liked it to be more special for us on the other side of the table. OK, it's Red Lobster. I'm not a huge fan of chains restaurants like this, and in particular the RLs I've been to have been disappointing. Given the Red Lobster menu, his location does NOT disappoint. For starters, it is clean, with a modern comfortable interior. There are plenty of windows offering natural light and the atmosphere is not heavy. The service is excellent - prompt, attentive and friendly - and they accommodate your special requests. The food is served promptly, it's hot and the entire table is served at the same time. I had the wood grilled seafood combo - the lobster tail was excellent, cooked to the point of doneness without being dry, and nicely seasoned. The sea scallops were very very good and again nicely seasoned. The shrimp, while smaller, were tasty. The grilled vegetables were seasonal and not overdone! The side of crabs legs were perfectly done and meaty. My daughter had the pick-two all-you-can-eat shrimp: the wasabi grilled shrimp were again on the smaller side but very tasty, and the shrimp alfredo over linguine were above average. I would avoid the fried shrimp as they are pedestrian and more breading than shrimp. The desserts - I had the warm apple crostada and while it had a good taste, it wasn't very crispy. The carrot cake was good, altho a tad on the heavy side. The chocolate lava cookie was tasty if you are into gooey chocolate. All in all we were very satisfied given the price point and the menu has been nicely updated. This particular location is clean and inviting inside, and the service is very good. read more

So, I do fully understand that it's Red Lobster, and not "fine dining" by any stretch, but I'm pretty disgusted with my most recent visit to Stroudsburg Pa's Red Lobster. I arrived on a Friday evening, and expected to wait, being that the place was packed. I had my 2 small children with me, and their mother, who was joining us with a co-worker, had not arrived. Once I checked in, I was asked if I needed a table for 5, or if a small 4 person booth would work. I advised that since there were 5 of us, we would prefer the larger table. The hostess rolled her eyes at me, and gave me the beeper to wait with. When it went off, my wife was close, but not there yet, I was seated. A waitress came over within 5 minutes and took our drink order, then returned with biscuits and our drinks. I ordered a margarita, which tasted like paint thinner, and probably burned going down worse. I was asked if I wanted to wait for my wife and I said that I did not, because my kids were hungry. The waitress left and returned some 20 minutes later. She finally took our order, and by then my wife and her co-worker arrived. The food was slow to arrive, and was basically gross. I asked for Ketchup for my daughter, which took over 10 minutes to get, and I asked 3 times for a glass of water, which never arrived. My kids held it together well, but towards the end, couldn't sit anymore. We were there nearly 90 minutes to eat dinner. The bill came, I paid, and I left. I won't soon go back! read more

My complainant is about the manager on duty when my family of five visited the Red Lobster in Bartonsville PA on 12/23/2016 at approximately 06:00 pm. We are local and visited this Red Lobster a few times before. In the past, this location did not measure up to other locations we have visited but decided to give it another chance since it's in our neighborhood. The restaurant was practically empty. A startled worker called the manager to seat us. The manager was very unscrupulous from the beginning. He glared at us contemptuously, periodically looking down at the seating chart. This glaring when on for 15-20 minutes. Finally, other guests arrived behind us and we were seated at one of the many open booths available. The waiter Lee was great, and the food for the most part was okay except the snow crab legs my wife ordered. Lee called the manager. This manager pasted our table a few times before looming over us without saying a word. We explained the snow crab legs were old. Without apology he said, "We'll take that order off the bill." The bill came with nothing taken off. When the bill finally did come back, only $15 of the $25 entrée was taken off. The final insult came at the end when the manager loomed back over our table to see if we ate or took the snow crab legs to go. Initially we were excited the see a Red Lobster arrive in our neighborhood of over 20 years, but will not visit there again. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Family of 7 waiting to be seated, we were told half an hour. After more than hour we are still not seated. Then we see a group of about 15 people get seated and when we questioned them, their response was oh they had a reservation after we were told they do not make reservations. Worst ever!!
