1/1 Ambience; 1/2 Food + Beverages; 0/1 Service; 1/1 Value A group of friends and I went to this Red Lobster for Endless Shrimp, and for most of us, it was our very first time at a RL. This restaurant was clean and spacious, and...

felt like a gentle "please leave." While we could have eaten more, we took it as a cue to pay and make our exit after the fourth round. Additionally, many of the dishes are supposed to be served with various sauces, but they stopped giving the accompanying condiments after the first round all together (although we do think they gave us some random sauces in the first round because even when some of us ordered the same dish, we got different sauces?). While this experience certainly had some drawbacks, what cannot be denied is that the value is very good, especially in this economy! We still went home feeling very full from a variety of dishes, all of which tasted fresh. All portions are large, even if it was not endless. Moreover, they give take-out boxes for leftovers without additional charge, unlike many AYCE places that charge menu price for any leftovers. All together, I would still recommend!

Just so happened to stop in the first day of the $20 endless shrimp. Everything was great! The endless shrimp was a great deal and everything was fresh. The service was great too...Gina was wonderful!

...shrimp dishes that were available: garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini alfredo, grilled shrimp skewer, Walt's favorite shrimp, Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp, and the sea salt and vinegar shrimp. Note that the first round comes...

colada sauce balanced the dish, but I was not given the sauce alongside this dish. The sweetness was just overwhelming in this style, even as someone who normally enjoys coconut crusted seafood. -Walt's favorite shrimp: basically a fried, breaded, butterflied shrimp (normally served with a cocktail-like sauce, but we weren't given any), and it was overall good, but nothing special as far as fried shrimp goes. -Shrimp linguini alfredo: perhaps the densest dish (and I would recommend getting this last if you are looking to do AYCE and getting the best bang for your buck!) and rather bland. The sauce congeals within minutes of hitting the table; and the portion size itself is very large even though they give around 5-6 shrimps for a big bowl of pasta. -Sea salt and vinegar shrimp: perhaps the most polarizing amongst our groups with some people really hating the salty and acidic flavors on fried shrimp, whereas others, myself included, enjoyed such sharp flavors reminiscent of salt and vinegar potato chips in seafood form. It was definitely a pleasant kick in a sea of otherwise muted flavors between Walt's, the alfredo, and grilled shrimp. -Grilled shrimp skewer: this was one of two group favorites because of how light and refreshing it was. Although it did not have bold flavors, the natural shrimp flavor shone through, complimented well by a hint of citrus and smokiness from the grill. The skewer, if gotten in the first round, is served with wild rice, which was also really good and well cooked. -Garlic shrimp scampi: the second group favorite because of how garlicky and flavorful this dish was! Even though the shrimp is essentially swimming in olive oil, the dish does not feel dense. Unfortunately, the service was not as good. Even on a not so busy evening, service was slow, and only got slower throughout the evening. Even when we just wanted to pay for our meal, we had to wait a significant amount of time and at some point we suspect our waitress was just avoiding our raised hands and even eye contact all together. Even though it was supposed to be endless shrimp, our waitress put to-go boxes at our table as soon as she brought our third round of shrimp, which felt like a gentle "please leave." While we could have eaten more, we took it as a cue to pay and make our exit after the fourth round. Additionally, many of the dishes are supposed to be served with various sauces, but they stopped giving the accompanying condiments after the first round all together (although we do think they gave us some random sauces in the first round because even when some of us ordered the same dish, we got different sauces?). First experience at red lobster and will most likely never return. Went to this location with my boyfriend tonight and we had such a nasty experience. When we arrived the hostess was a bit unprofessional with her approach, no greeting. When seated the waitress brought us bread and water right away which was nice. She took our orders and when the starters came it was a very disappointing looking meal. The tomato bisque was salty and the "cocktail shrimp" came with no cocktail sauce and super dirty .

My boyfriends coconut shrimp also came with no sauce. she also forgot to bring us utensils. The food was not appetizing and lacked flavor. The establishment looked unorganized a bit dirty this evening. It has potential but don't...

I don't understand how this location is rated so low. We went today for dinner. The food is always delicious and the waitress we had today was the absolute best!! I forgot her name. She was so sweet and attentive. So Thank you for another amazing experience!

I popped into red lobster tonight really to support the new ceos 's effort to revitalize red lobster. I will say we walked in and we were greeted we sat at the bar tables to have dinner. Chrissy was our server. She did her best she was fact but not as efficient as I would have liked our service to be. She was also the bartender which meant pulling double duty- first the drinks were not tasty - I would not recommend the margarita flight. We didn't love them in fact, and you will see from the second set of pictures We're leaving drinks on the table. We did however enjoy the food. The seafood boil is in fact quite delicious. It's why we came we were not disappointed The cheddar Bay biscuits were not as fresh as we are accustomed to having them, but they were not terrible overall- maybe it is their tactic because it's the first time I've ever left their location without biscuits as a take away- overall it was not a bad experience. While, I did not expect to receive a bib as this is not that type of es look establishment Or like we do at most crab places; we were served our soup pretty efficiently, and as I mentioned, they were quite delicious the lobster bisque better than the chowder. However, as we received our seafood boil, sometime later, what we were not presented with or any utensils, and so we waited, and when they did not arrive, we had to ask for them. This should be Standard at the table that there are utensils. I was surprised also that we were not offered more napkins of better quality, napkins, or wet wiper!! I'll return in about six months to see if what the new CEO has in mindl is working here. Maybe he needs to visit this location! I do think there's room for improvement here because this is a pretty popular location and the small changes will have a great impact. I'm sure.

Here's a photo of the workers at this RL in bay plaza,who has no sense of urgency, who sees a line building and would rather chit chat with fellow colleagues. In regards to the to go line, the woman closer to the front not sure if she's a manager decided after she was done with her convo to THEN come over and takes orders and has an attitude because I have an attitude after watching them not care how long persons are waiting and literally having a full blown personal conversation in front of customers. Food was also too salty and lacked flavor couldn't return because I had already drove home and wasn't planning on going back to deal with the attitude the way she when someone came back to complain about their to go order. So SAD

All I can is say, 5 stars ***** . The food was amazing. Carene was welcoming, sweet and professional. I haven't been to this location in over 5 years. It was a last minute decision. But glad we ended up here. Bathroom very clean (that's the first place I check) Nice ambience.

I'm going to say I always try and lean to the side of understanding when I post reviews. I try and give grace because places are understaffed and sometimes still recovering from Covid. But what was experienced on October 20, 2023 was.... Is...completely unacceptable. Now I've been coming to this place for years with family and friends. It was the spot for celebrations or just wanting seafood. This place has gone to absolute hell. Service is always slow, staff anyways seem like they hate their job, not always the cleanest. But this night during dinner.... Im done. I can't and won't comment on anything else because this one solitary moment has destroyed everything else. There was an ENTIRE NAIL IN A BISCUIT. This nail could've broke my tooth. I had a kid and nieces and nephews. This could've got lodged in one of their tiny throats. Any number of terrible things could've happened from this one thing. How the heck a nail even gets into a biscuit is beyond me and my understanding level. The waitress who was nice immediately notified a manager who was apologetic and wrote off our bill. Again I'm baffled at how this happened because I was told the biscuits are made in house. So how on earth did this not get caught. I want to give them zero stars and should and might still send this to the Heath department.

Overly salty food, poor service, bad atmosphere. Nothing whatsoever to recommend. Closing in 2024 due to bankruptcy.

I came to Red Lobster during the week because I had a craving for seafood. When reading the menu my craving changed to steak. I ordered the 6oz filet mignon with broccoli and a baked potato with a non alcoholic pina colada. My partner had the crab legs and lobster. Everything was delicious, but keep in mind the filet mignon was pretty small. Let me go back to the beginning. It wasn't crowded so we were seated right away. I enjoyed the quiet ambiance. The server was pleasant and professional. I made sure she received a big tip because of her professionalism and quick service. I recommend eating at Red Lobster on non peak days.

This place is a long standing staple of bay plaza chain restaurants. It's been around longer than any other that I can remember. It's really great for people who are looking for a seafood experience without heading to city island. The prices have increased but they have a nice selection of meal options that you won't find anywhere else in the area. And we can't forget about those glorious cheddar bay biscuits. The drinks don't need to be had. They're infamously weak, but not cheap. Terrible combination.

came to Red lobster on a Wednesday at 4:25pm and there was no one there. yet when I got to the bar I wasn't greeted. There wasn't even anyone in the front to greet me. but I sat at the bar patiently while the lady with the Grey baldy had her conversation with her coworker. After she was done talking she walked away and still didn't give me a menu or anything. she came back and she had her headphones on having a conversation on the phone. pretending to do something on the register. At this point, I got a lyft and it was 6 minutes away. can you believe during that whole 6 minutes she still didn't greet me, no menu nothing. while I was leaving I asked for the manager who was wearing a blue sweater that was too small for him and I told him what happened. can you believe he just stood there unbothered. I hate to say this but having Jamaicans as employees is why that establishment will never thrive. can you imagine your own people treating you like you don't matter. never again

Went to this location red lobster for the first time for dining in. I was in there at approximately 11:45am. I was the only customer in there at that time. The food was okay. The identifiable bug on the floor next to the booth I was seated at stole the show for me I just kept staring at it. This is the beginning of the day and this is on the carpet nicely tucked. I was so hungry I didn't leave when another server seen me taking pictures of it that's when he came back to sweep it up. I asked him what was it ? his response was I dunno. . I said right. The server Krystal was wonderful. It wasn't her fault. Very attentive and very welcoming. I thought you spot check all these issues before opening the door to the public. knowing there are big bugs dining inside of a seafood restaurant. Yes bugs are everywhere, but this is not good. I come out so I don't have to cook and look at pest by the table. Not good vibes at all. If this is in the dining area what's in the kitchen.

This restaurant was clean and spacious, and generally had a quaint, family-friendly ambiance with dim-lighting and simple decor. While there were multiple families and groups eating out, it did not seem very busy for a weekday. Our waitress started us off with the iconic cheddar bay biscuits, which we all really liked-- they certainly lived up to the hype. We limited refills on these as to not fill up on too many carbs. Each Endless Shrimp Meal also comes with a side. One friend and I got the brussel sprouts (premium side with additional $3.49 charge), and we really liked it! They were perfectly caramelized, with a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors that I imagine even people who hate cruciferous vegetables would like. We tried all of the shrimp dishes that were available: garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini alfredo, grilled shrimp skewer, Walt's favorite shrimp, Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp, and the sea salt and vinegar shrimp. Note that the first round comes with shrimp three ways, and subsequent rounds consist of two shrimp dishes at a time. -Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp: probably my least favorite because of how overly greasy and sweet it is. I heard the pina colada sauce balanced the dish, but I was not given the sauce alongside this dish. Ordered via Uber Eats. I ordered a choose your own combo with the fried whitefish & shrimp scampi and 2 sides: caesar salad & baked potato with Creamy Langostino & Norway Lobster. I only received the shrimp & the fish NO SIDES. The 2nd person's order was correct. How do they pack an order that comes with sides without sides?! Very disappointing. Uber Eats only refunded $5.59 to top it. Now I'm hungry & annoyed. Bad business. read more

Never had such horrible service! We were seated within 20 minutes which was great. We then got our biscuits and then it all went down hill from there. 20 mins AFTER biscuits we received our water and ordered drinks. -__- we then had to wait over an hour for our food to be served. There were 2 of us. I then practically had to beg for a refill of water which we recieved at thr end of our meal. No apology, no reassurance, nothing. Because of this horrible experience, not to forget to mention it was our first Red Lobster visit in a long time, I will never go back to a Red Lobster again. Rather go to City Island, where we usually go. I honestly feel robbed. Spending 100 bucks for nothing. Seriously turned off. My total dining time was almost 2 hours. About 20 mins out of those 2 hours was spent eating. Smh! read more

It's really crowded on the weekends. The staff is really helpful and don't rush you to leave. Food is normal red lobster food. It's best to go during lunch on the weekdays if you don't like crowds. Weekend can be like an hour wait. The cheddar biscuits are amazing per usual read more

I like this place, we had to wait to be seated last time we went there on a weakened but it was fast, the orders came in quickly (which was awesome cause my step daughter was throwing a tantrum which cut out whole lunch experience short). The staff was friendly and efficient. We always go back once in a while. read more

Had dinner here yesterday. It was a mad house , the wait was about 45 minutes. service was definitely not the best. My server was overwhelmed ,but was trying his hardest to please everyone. The food wasn't hot it was room temperature. i would go again but definitely not on the weekend read more

I don't know why Red lobster got so many bad reviews but I guess I can only speak from my experience. Whenever I go to this red lobster, I usually never wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. Maybe it's because I go in a small group.. My server today was very funny, and super quick. She accidentally charged us full price for the beer but made no fuss about fixing it ($3 dollars for that much beer, c'mon people) Those cheddar biscuits, awesome , the deals (fughetabouttit). And dare I say that some of those waiters are nice to look at. I've been going to this location for a long time and I'm please to say that I've never had a terrible experience there. I have seen some lip from servers to other customers but they usually deserved it. I mean who says " I only came here for the biscuits and an appetizer, I don't need to give you a tip" how classy. Anyway . A good tip would be to be nice to the person who's serving you food. Shoot , at least until you receive the food. Haha read more

I paid $9.25 for limp, greasy and tasteless 'calamary' (supposed to be calamari and I got more broccoli than calamari). I sent it back because I thought they were like that because it sat waiting on the stuffed mushrooms...the bartender Omar was gracious and re-order another batch but it looked the same... Needless to say...it was a very disappointed meal. I wished I had seen the BBQ across the street.... never again!! read more

Not too shabby. I come here from time to time and always get pretty good service. I'm a creature of habit so if Ive tried something and it's good I usually stick with it. Everything I have tried tho Is pretty tasty. Lobster pizza is good. Coconut shrimp. Bahama mamas those are usually on every order. Those cheddar biscuits always hit the spot. Service is decent. The ladies usually treat me very well I've only had one occasion where I literally had to go and get the server. Just a nice hang out spot. Good food good drinks. I would stay away from the late weekends tho it can get crazy. read more

Currently on another long hold on the phone. Since they have disconnected the previous call about my order. Not even a courtesy to call me back. But on to the food. I placed an order for pick up $85 in total. I'm home and my fried shrimp is extremely over cooked. Almost burnt !! And the lobster pizza I ordered has a very very foul odor. I can't even keep it in my home. The lobster on the fish is foul and must not have been properly refrigerated. Please try another location. The food served is not safe to consume. read more

The food here hasn't failed me yet. I have had a good experience, food wise, everytime I've been here. Service wise, although the staff is always good, bring your patience. Service is typically slow here and they're usually busy. Wait times are usually not as bad as they say if you have to wait. Once you're seated, there's another wait. Come hungry, not starvin or you may run out of patience at this location. If I want good food at a Red Lobster, this is the 1 that I visit. Lunch is no different either. You'll notice that this spot is understaffed and the servers are left to do everything while also waiting their tables. Being that the servers are usually overwhelmed, they're always friendly and nice. Maybe if the owner invested in a little more staffing, service would be quicker. read more

This would not be on my list of places to eat but my boyfriend likes Red Lobster every once in awhile. It was just okay for me, food & service wise. Went for an early Sunday dinner. We were seated within about 5 minutes. It took the waiter a little time to get over to us right off the bat... We started with 2 frozen cocktails which were good. We placed our food order after we got our drinks. First came the biscuits & salads. I ordered the Caesar. It was good except I had to pick out a few brownish pieces. Then it seemed to take quite some time before the food arrived. I was dying for some water but the waiter never came back to check on us until he brought the food out. I'm not into fish so I tried the NY strip steak with mashed potato & green beans. I ordered it medium - medium wellish. It came pretty much on the well done side. It tasted ok though. My boyfriend ordered the ultimate feast. He liked his meal a lot. After the food was served to us, it took a long time before the waiter came back to check on us. When we finished eating, we were trying to find him to ask for the check & to wrap some leftovers. Finally found him... He never asked us if we would like coffee &/or dessert. Overall, just a so so experience. read more

Took way too long for a hostess to seat us, didn't come to us with menus or water for 15 minutes then food took about 30 minutes just for the salads and bread! Main course came almost an hour later. Very slow service. Must improve. read more

The worst food I've had in years... don't waste your time and money in this place! Purchased the Lobster Bake over Pasta - and it was a hand full of over cooked seafood - which I say was not fresh, and an oil soaked pasta... nothing was fresh! It was just bad! Nice people serving you but what a waste of money!! read more

I went here in late December of 2012 on a Saturday night with my parents (yeah, it was a slooow weekend). I don't particularly like lobster, and I can't imagine I would like it any more at Red Lobster, so I ordered a vegetable medley kind of dish. It was totally slathered in butter, so it was tasty... but I could kind of feel my arteries hardening as I ate. The biscuits kinda tasted a bit undercooked... a bit on the doughy side as opposed to light and fluffy. Maybe it was just that batch. So that's the comment about Red Lobster in general, because I imagine that the food doesn't vary much from place to place. I guess I went on a good night too, because my waiter was pretty good, very friendly, I wouldn't be surprised if his nickname was smiley. Waited on us pretty much right away, brought us our drinks quickly, as well as the food. He checked in on us a couple of times, was responsive when we asked for more water. The restaurant wasn't empty, but not very crowded either, maybe that was a factor. We tipped him well. If you like Red Lobster, based on my experience here, I would not advise to stay away from this one. But it is in Bay Plaza, next to Co-op City... and I never go to the movies here because of the location. So I can imagine that on a bad night, it might be a pretty "ghetto" place. For today, 5/9/21 the service for pick up was trash. We placed an order at 2 pm for 7:15 pm that never arrived and is 9:47 pm. Calling was the worst because no one picked up and the two different times that they did; one hung up and the other one could not write contact information correctly and just said "I got you". Click!!! Totally unacceptable for a business who is trying to open up after the wave of covid 19. I like Red lobster but in some part location matters. I will not be recommending people to this establishment nor will order again from this place. Impossible to be that backed up. R they new in the area in business? No. I should of order from the Red Lobster in Central Ave. customer service there is great. They need more training in business administration and customer relations. I will be calling my bank to make sure the payment does not go through. Worst Mother's Day dinner. No rating . read more

This Red Lobster has been around a while now and I'm not seeing any innovation to the place. Service was ok. Food was ok. The wait was long. Also, was sat by the bar and it seemed like I had flys hovering by my light above my table. Overall, they could be better but they didn't lose a customer. My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday, the biscuits tasted funny.. so we ordered the "sirloin shrimp" it comes with a piece of steak mashed potatoes and shrimp, everyone after us who came got there food first, we waited so long for our food and when we finally did get our food the shrimp is missing ?? Just the steak and mashed potatoes.. we tell our waitress and she goes " we'll get that cooking for u now" why would u bring out the food without it if u already made us wait that long, and how can u forget it when the name of the dish literally has the item in the name!!! Then we completely finish our meal then she has the two orders of shrimp in containers and when the bill comes she tried to be slick and put the orders of shrimp as add ons, the worst fucking service. This Red Lobster underwhelmed me. I've only been to the Times Square location years ago but I remember really liking that one. Also, I feel that the Times Square location either had more menu items or Red Lobster has downsized considerably. First off, I do like the interior. It's very "fish shanty on the docks." I feel like I'm on a fancy yacht. Also, my wait for my party of one wasn't too long. Although, looking throughout the restaurant, I'm not even sure why there even was a wait? Maybe it is a food service thing? At first, my waitress, who was very lovely, came to me fast, too fast. Saying that I need more time was a big mistake, for I rarely saw her again. In fact, when she came with my plate, she put it down just as fast and went to another table. No "Is everything all right?" Or "Can I get you something else?" No nada until several minutes later after she was done mingling with the other table, a Party of Five! Needless to say, I felt a little slighted. My food was eh. I really enjoyed my Caesar salad and my friend flounder. The latter was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The French fries were generic and the Cheddar Bay biscuits were disappointing!! Not at all like how I remembered. They were really dry. Sigh! read more

The food was great. Our server was really attentive and made sure to get us our food and drinks in a timely manner. No matter which Red Lobster you go to there is going to be a bit of a wait. We waited for 20 minutes to be seated as a party of three. I have no complaints. Its closer to home than the other locations and its more upscale than many of the other options in the area. I spent $70 for the three of us which wasn't too bad given that we all ate to our hearts content and took home left overs. I'd go again based on this experience. read more

This location is the absolute WORST when it comes to customer service/takeout. To think that I drove from the opposite end of the bronx and made it to coop city without making any progress with these people. 11 minutes spent on hold to place an order (never to place that order) then another 6 holding for the manager that never answered. This isn't the first it's happened and it probably won't be the last. If they weren't conveniently located I would never return. The food is hit or miss as is the service. For a quality experience, go to another location! read more

If you come here try to avoid the bar. It can get a little crowded, and the bartenders/waitstaff do not really pay you any attention. The bartender asked what we wanted without getting us menus. The food was decent. They have a special trio deal which was cool, and the biscuits are always great! When it was time to pay, he had disappeared so we had to wait an additional 10 minutes until he returned. I will not be dining at the bar area next time. read more

Service was rather slow and it wasn't super packed. I got the ultimate feast which was rather good however my crab legs were a little cold. I didn't bother to say anything because our waitress, came around when she could... very sparingly. In addition to that I had to look around and find her and ask for each of my soda refills, and the check. I came to this location because of the parking but maybe next time I'll spend the time looking for parking Elsewhere . read more

I honestly don't know where to begin. I will say that hands down, this Red Lobster on 2090 Bartow Ave, is the worst restaurant experience that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. This is over the span of many years and it still holds my number 1 spot of the worst restaurant EVER. It's evident when management is changed like water in a dog bowl. The current management is just as terrible if not worse. They do not care about customer service and wouldn't know customer service if it bit them in the behind. Over the course of months during this pandemic I have ordered countless times because I genuinely love certain dishes. 9 times out of 10 I have been disappointed. I have received WATERY crab alfredo with little to no crab meat and/ or sauce or BURNT lobster pizza, where the excuse was they put it in the over for a certain amount of time. They completely ignore the notion that you should not be serving anything you wouldn't eat yourself. On Dec 24th I ordered directly through the website (lobster pizza and crab alfredo with extra sauce). The door dash driver stole the order. When i contacted Red lobster, the male manager seemed to have an attitude and proceeded to suck his teeth when I asked if they could reach out to door dash. I was already turned off by his attitude so I asked for the other manager Maame Boakye. She offered for me to pick up the order and said she would personally handle the order. When i received it and saw the receipt on the way home I noticed I was still charged for a delivery fee. They didn't offer to refund the 4.99 that I paid them to have my food delivered. When I got home and opened the crab alfredo the sauce was literally the consistency of WATER. The crab alfredo was for my mother not me. My mother said she would go to the restaurant after the holiday and speak to the manager since NOBODY wanted to answer the phone that day, although they were still taking orders. My mother showed up that Sunday. Maame Boakye was extremely rude to my mother when my mother simply expressed that the alfredo sauce was so watery she didn't even want it. As well as me being charged the delivery fee. She proceeded to tell my mother that she did not have to eat here. We have been patronizing this DUMP for years. I mean look at the reviews and past health inspections. There are always fruit like flies swarming around the bar and the tables. There have been roaches which in turn caused me to receive full refunds on my food. This location is HORRENDOUS. There is no regulation one the cooks who are allowed to serve garbage and the managers do not reinforce anything. Maame personally told my mother during our last complaint that people have been excessively complaining about the quality of the food. It is INSANITY THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH THIS FOR SO MANY YEARS AND HAVE NOT BEEN SHUT DOWN. Just because this location is in the bronx doesn't mean it shouldn't be tended to. Maame gave my mother a card and told her not to come back or she wouldn't be served. She handed my mother a card and told her to call corporate knowing guest relations is closed. read more

Me and my mom always have a delicious meal and most relaxing and enjoyable time when the waiter Omar M. serves us and when we know the cook, Celeste V. is working that day. We are always looking for them when we go to Red Lobster. It's even better than eating at City Island Restaurants but when they are both present. They are both always so busy but they are both hard workers and they aim to please each customer as best they can. So please be patient because it's worth the wait. I don't know how the kitchen keeps up with the orders. The waitstaff must put a few miles on their feet a day and a cardio workout carrying the trays overflowing with food. Amazing! Everything in the restaurant is kept neat, clean, and organized. The music is not overwhelming. You can hear each other at the table. When the weather is a little nicer, they have beautiful outdoor seating with views of Long Island sound. It is very romantic, when the sun is setting, you can imagine yourself being somewhere exotic and far away. As the song goes; "Sometimes you don't know what you got till it's gone."

I should have sat inside here instead of in their outdoor space which they call The Grove at Dakota's. I was able to choose where I wanted to sit, so I chose a table near this shed where the bartender/waiter was. I noticed they were setting up for the Knicks Game 3 final and there were two large TVs and a projection screen. I overheard the waiter state that the area would be packed for the game tonight. There was also good music playing throughout. They had a large connect four, which would be nice to play. They are family friendly and had high chairs for babies and toddlers. When sitting outside they state that they have to preauthorize your card. Now getting onto the food. I was seated and provided with two menus. I immediately asked for a happy hour menu and then I waited for about 15 minutes, until I followed up with another waiter who brought out the menu for me. For the happy hour menu before I received my food I initially thought the prices were good, but upon receiving my food it was evident that the prices are off in terms of the portion size of the food. I ordered a $5 slider. I thought it would be a decent size. It was incredibly small. For the $5 price they should give at minimum 2 sliders but ideally 3. This would incentivize people to buy more. The slider was the best thing I tasted while there and I would have liked more but I couldn't justify spending another $5 when it was so tiny. The tiny slider appeared to be the portion size for a toddler. I ordered calamari which was $9. I was initially disappointed that there was such a small amount. I was even more disappointed when I tasted them. They tasted very "fishy." They absolutely needed a squeeze of lemon and fresh cracked black pepper to try and balance and mask the taste. I believe the portion size for the fries was also off for $5. The fries came in a teacup. Fries are something that people tend to order to have something to pick at while dining and it would make sense I think to provide more fries for the same price. I also could not justify getting another set of fries in a small teacup for $5. I did not like the taste of the fries. When the sparse calamari, tiny beef slider, and small teacup of fries came out, I realized I would not be full and ordered chicken wings from the happy hour menu. You have to get a minimum of 6. You cannot mix the flavors. They were out of the dockside fire sauce so I went with the garlic parm. These wings did not taste like garlic parm. The garlic parm seemed like an afterthought, which was just sprinkled on the wings at the very end. The chicken itself did not have much flavor. They did not mention providing any dipping sauce. I asked for blue cheese and I had to wait for about ten minutes and then remind another waiter that I was still waiting for my blue cheese. They were out of the mozzarella sticks. Moving onto the drinks. While I get being outside and maybe wanting to serve drinks in plastic to minimize glassware breaking, I did not enjoy being served Pinot Noir in a plastic cup or the white cranberry lemon drop in a plastic cup. Each time I was taken aback that they weren't offered in glassware. I got the $7 Pinot Noir from the happy hour menu. A regular glass of Pinot Noir is $9. I also ordered the white cranberry lemon drop which is priced at $12 and is not included on the happy hour menu. The drink came out in the same sized small plastic cup as the Pinot Noir. I think once again that glassware should be used. When ordering a lemon drop you tend to expect a chilled frosty glass with a sugar rim, and that was not what I received here. I think the sugar rim would have elevated the taste profile of the drink. All in all, I really liked the outdoor area. I would probably only return to get a canned beer in the outside section. I hope they start to carry some sour beer options. I do not see myself trying the food again, with the exception of a burger (since the burger was really good.) I did have an inquiry regarding the pre-authorization charge and the final charge that I saw on my credit card. I called and left a message and the restaurant got back to me quickly, which I really appreciated.

There wasn't a single chewy or unpleasant piece. I normally order the porterhouse or ribeye, but the skirt steak was an excellent choice when I wanted something leaner and quicker to enjoy without sacrificing flavor. The fried potato salad is another standout. It's a unique side that's absolutely worth ordering. And then there's the peppercorn sauce served with the lamb chops. It's a total mic drop. I honestly can't put into words how good it is. I found myself dipping everything in it (even my fingers ). It's that delicious! Fiorentina continues to impress every time we visit, and it's become one of my favorite places to recommend for a great steak dinner.

The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! The Cuban was delicious but the parmesan fries stole the show from that meal it was paired so lovely who would've thought those flavors would've mixed nicely. The buttery chicken wings oh my God dripping with goodness each bite was legit finger licking good lol. The butter chicken macaroni very very delicious. Had a nice cheese pull and a good balance could not stop eating it. The steak nachos were delicious I wish It had a little more meat, but it was not bad. The butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries also delicious and the fries were cooked so nicely that it was crispy and soft at the same time per bite. The mom's butter chicken platter was delicious they gave the right amount of sauce, the pita bread was delicious and soft, the salad that it was paired with was good too the rice was decently portioned. Everything was definitely tasty. Not one complaint of any of the meals. We did not wait long for the food. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I want to come back to try more things in the menu that's how good the food was and our group agreed to also come back with us. This spot is definitely a place to try. They have a beautiful quote right near the bar that really spoke to us, especially during these times it said "you are exactly where you need to be." It makes you stop for a second and really take it in and just live in the moment ... especially living in New York, where you have to be always go go go fast fast fast. This was really beautifully written thank you to the staff who made our night and our friend's birthday special we'll see you soon.

Food: The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cheddar bay biscuits lived up to the hype--warm, buttery, and addicting! I ordered the Ultimate Feast, and every part of it was delicious--the lobster tail was tender, the crab legs cracked easily with sweet meat inside, and the shrimp were seasoned just right. Even the sides, like the creamy mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli, felt like they were prepared with care. Service: The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks were refilled quickly, extra biscuits arrived without even having to ask, and everything came out at just the right time. They made us feel genuinely welcome, not rushed. Environment: The atmosphere was relaxed but lively. The restaurant was clean, the lighting was warm, and the nautical décor gave it that cozy seaside vibe. Today is my birthday (3-9-2017) and, as is customary, Red Lobster really pulls out the stops. They opened at 11 a.m. and I arrived at 11:35 a.m., and there was very little waiting time at all. I was given a seat, sufficient time to make my selections, and, I'd say, within 10 minutes I received my salad, drink, and first item, followed another 10 minutes later with the main course. Everything was great, tasty, with an eloquent atmosphere. Everything that I could want was easily available. There was so much food to eat that the thought of dessert simply wasn't there. It was a great birthday celebration, and a perfect opportunity for me to rekindle memories of food fests at an awesome Bronx fish and chips place. I am a Red Lobster fan, and it is the one place I'd chose to go back to again and again and again for great memories in the future. read more

I ordered 4 course meal at Redlobster I ordered Parrot coconut shrimp as main course waitress was telling me how many shrimps I will get kind of strange I never asked how many mean attitude So when shrimp came it was raw milky water was coming out of it I told my waitress showed her than I told her people can get sick like that I also asked her can I speak to Menager so Menager cum Receptionist came he greeted us on door and made our way in when I showed him milky shrimp he started his lecture about shrimp that we can't over cooked it yes we don't it rubbery but we don't want to get sick eating it under cooked so he left taking my plate with raw Shrimps I didn't got new order of shrimps also I was given full bill Place was empty and I now understand why Never coming back read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in. The definition of a hole-in-the-wall. They start you of with there delicious biscuits and I'm telling you right now, there to die for. I got the regular hamburger and some fries and wow... there are no words. A classic burger done right. Crisp bun, juicy patty, stuffed with all the essentials (ketchup, shredded lettuce, tomato and the perfectly melted cheese). The fries were the perfect temperature and weren't burnt to a crisp either. Theres about a million options available between the menu board and wall full of specials, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed read more

Great Lunch Experience at Red Lobster Bay Plaza Had a great time at Red Lobster in Bay Plaza during lunch! The restaurant was clean and quiet, which made for a nice atmosphere. The food was pretty good--I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo (not pictured), but the standout for me was the Grand Patrón Margarita. That drink was on point! Our server, Rushane, made the experience even better. He gave us top-notch customer service, handling our large party of 15 with ease and a smile. He was super patient, especially with some older folks in our group, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Overall, an excellent experience! I'd definitely recommend coming back here. read more

We had a great experience. The other night my family andr I.. about 10 of us went out for my sister's birthday. Our server lauryn was extremely attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. She had a great personality and her customer service was beyond our expectations. We have been to this red lobster a few times, however we always leave feeling unsatisfied due to poor service. We have never been taken care of so wonderfully in all the years we have been coming here. The food came out just as ordered and we truly had a wonderful experience. CO OP CITY Red Lobster bites! Their fake superstar wannabe bartender, "Tom Lose" is incompetent to say the least. When you request bottled water he pours tap anyway. When you specifically ask for bread he will bring you what HE wants you to have. The bar area is only cleaned when the district manager is in town. This place sucks on acid.
