I rarely eat at Red Lobster. For one, I don't really like the big chain restaurants and on top of that, I don't eat a lot of seafood. I enjoy seafood but I would probably eat more of it if I lived somewhere along the coast. The service was fantastic. We didn't have to wait at all. Our server was on top of everything and very helpful. To me, those are all very important parts of the entire restaurant experience, but the most important part is the food and I was really unimpressed. We had several gift cards so I decided to splurge a little and I got a combination meal that comes to close to $24. I ordered the stuffed flounder, grilled salmon, and even though I know their specialty is seafood, I decided to try their peppercorn sirloin steak. I love grilled salmon so I was really hoping that if I didn't like the other two, at least that one would be good. I also got a caesar salad and red potatoes with the meal. Well, I started off with the caesar salad which was not very good. The dressing was basically in the bottom of the bowl so I had to mix it in and then, I really didn't like their caesar dressing. Then the meal came. The salmon and the steak were a bit dry and the flounder was just so-so. It really didn't seem to have much of any kind of flavor to it. The red potatoes were good but maybe a little too crispy. My wife got the endless shrimp and she really wasn't impressed with it either. On the other hand, my sister-in-law got the ultimate feast and she absolutely loved the crab legs. I was definitely full when I was finished but then again, I'm usually full after eating at most restaurants. Overall, when it comes to seafood, I've definitely experienced better and I think I'll stick to the independent and local restaurants for my seafood. I haven't gone to a Red Lobster in 13 years. We had a very bad waiter back then and the manager never took care of it. I went the other day. I couldn't believe their prices. I ended up ordering the dozen shrimp for $9.99. First, I asked the waitress if it was popcorn shrimp. She said no. When I got my food, it was the closest size to popcorn shrimp size you can get, without calling it popcorn. Red Lobster should be embarrassed. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. My husband got a reward card on line from them for $25. Now with it only being that much we couldn't eat much, so we called in the order to go off the kids menu. My husband went went to get it popcorn shrimp for both, fries and salads. The shrimps were so good!! I could have eaten until I felt like a piggy. Pros: food was pretty good tasting! Allowed in a few minutes early due to weather! Restraunt was clean. Cons: price was a little steep. We were the first party seated and quite large. We were given a table that was awkward, to tight, and would not really work. Asked for another and hostess said no. Carrier sling and high chair interfered with traffic. This review is for today's visit only. Past visits are a 4 or 5 star. However, only thing that kept today's visit from being a one star was that the service was great. I tried to order a draft beer, was told that one had trouble, so I picked an alternate (they only have 3 to choose from). Turns out the whole draft system was down. When my beverage arrived it was very warm. Not like it was just not cold enough, more like it was actually warm. When my clam chowder came it was not warm. Close to the same temperature as the draft beer. The chowder had an acceptable taste but a rancid smell. I eat quite a bit of chowder and I've never experienced that smell. I was scared to eat it. The server assured me that this is just the way their chowder smells, but I don't feel like risking it. They took it off my bill, without hesitation. Now I feel like I'm a complainer though. So when my terrible microwaved sandwich with a rock hard bun arrives I just eat what I can. My wife had crab legs. They were good, the salad was good. The complimentary biscuits were good. But $60+ with the crummy food I was served left me very disappointed. read more

A party of 11 waited over 2.5 hrs to be seated than when asked to see a manager he offered a free appitizer after being disappointed for that the waiter tells me even though I ordered endless shrimp I can't have cold scampi. We went this past weekend for our Anniversary. Our waitress, Keneice, was wonderful. She was attentive, kind and an amazing server. She made our whole experience special. One person in our party had a steak and it was very fatty, but I know this is not your specialty! The crab legs were very good. The biggest reason I only gave it 3 stars was that is was not very clean. The menus had food on them! The drink/ dessert menu that stays on the table also had food crusted on it. Let me start by saying we really love going to Red Lobster as we are seafood lovers. We always get the Feast, which runs close to $100 for two, with appetizer and drink. Unfortunately, our last three trips to this Red Lobster have been fraught with problems, mainly in the kitchen. Our first recent trip in late November resulted in our having to send the Lobster Bisque back because it was cool, not hot and we had major problems with their "upgraded" computer system that wouldn't take our Rewards number. The second time, on New Years Eve, the crab legs were lukewarm to ice cold and we had to send those back. The third time, tonight, the stuffed mushroom appetizer came out steaming hot until you tried to eat them and then discovered the mushrooms and the underlying stuffing were cold and we had to send those back. Then..the lower third of our crab legs were, you guessed it, ice cold. By this time, we just gave up and decided we would drive to the other Red Lobster north of Akron the next time we craved seafood. The wait staff and the evening manager were very nice and did give us coupons for a free appetizer or dessert each time we had a problem, but the inattention to detail in food exiting the kitchen resulted in the lower rating! read more

We are from out of town and ate at this Red Lobster over the weekend. It was awesome! Our server, Keneice, was a doll and made our experience one to remember. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our whole experience. If you visit this location, ask for Keneice. She is a rock star! The only negative comment I would say is about the bartender working Saturday evening (4/9/2016). We did however need refill of our soda and couldn't locate the waitress but we were in the bar area where we had to listen to the bartender talk to guests at the bar about his medical condition,meds he's on and all of side effects (not great conversation when eating). Well.. tonight we decided to stop in and I just have to say it was fabulous!! I ordered the grilled chicken tacos (OH. MY. GOD ) and my boyfriend ordered the endless shrimp (holy wow. So many different kinds!!!) The fiesta, the shrimp Alfredo, sesame grilled and also the crispy fried! I was blown back at how tasty everything was! The only word I can come up with is wow absolutely stunning food everything is fresh the service is quick and excellent and polite the different options for drinks is a big variety and they all taste good I personally always get the crab legs with a side of crab legs my mom gets the endless shrimp it just has its unique flavor to it but I feel like I'm right by the ocean this is by far the best seafood restaurant that I can never find I will continue to come back and have a wonderful meal it's a specialty of me and my mom's I always take her there for her birthday my son loves that they have great kids options and it has a good environment entertainment for the kids the lobster tank my son is infatuated with and that you have the choice of picking out your Lobster it's more than worth the money I'd advise anybody that has not try the one on in North Canton or any other one to please take this experience and added to your bellies. read more
