I visited this location to redeem a Birthday reward, and a free appetizer. I ordered the shrimp 3 ways for main course. The service was amazing, and the restaurant was very clean. I can say this was the best service I have ever had at Red Lobster. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star experience is the shrimp would be better wild caught from the ocean. Had an amazing time! We got on the virtual waitlist on the drive there and was given a 45 min wait. We got there about 10 mins later checked in and were seated immediately! Kelly was our server and was fantastic! She made sure we had refills of our drinks and biscuits and if we needed anything she was on top of it. All our food came out piping hot, I enjoy having to wait a minute or two for the food to cool down rather than it not be hot enough. We loved the 2010s pop music that was on in the background! Extremely disappointing experience at the Belden Village Red Lobster. The food was bland and overcooked--the shrimp tasted rubbery, and the lobster tail was dry. For the price you pay, the quality just isn't there. Service was also poor. Our server was slow to check in, drinks went unrefilled, and it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than a guest. On top of that, the restaurant didn't feel very clean, which only made the meal less enjoyable. The only redeeming part of the visit was the cheddar bay biscuits, but even those came out lukewarm. I have been ordering takeout from Red Lobster this past year off and on. Overall, they never forget anything and the food is nice and hot when I get it home. Tonight I had the Atlantic Salmon and it was roasted to perfection. I was also pleased with the mashed potatoes and broccoli. Of course the cheddar bay biscuits are awesome as well! I Went Here After Church For Lobsterfest And When I Went To Sit Down I Saw Milk All Over The Booth But The Food Was Super Good

Went in on Monday had special and was impressed. For 20 bucks you got a lobster tail and shrimp. What a deal.

I went out to dinner with my mom to Red Lobster, as she had been craving it for a while. We thought the timing was lucky for us because it happened to be LobsterFest! Firstly, the staff was wonderful! The hostess was very patient with my mother as she complained about each seat offered to her and eventually led us to a table that my mother deemed "acceptable." The hostess then closed the blinds for us. Our waitress was also very friendly and personable, quick to refill our drinks and take our order, as well as bring us the delicious Cheddar Bay Biscuits (and gave us some to go when we left!). She also brought my mom a nice little ice cream dessert to-go for her birthday. As for the food, it was decent. Nothing to get really excited about. We both ordered the "Seafarer's Feast" at a price tag of $34.49 before any taxes and tips. The menu says it comes with "A broiled Maine lobster tail, grilled sea scallops, garlic shrimp, and Walt's Favorite Shrimp. Served with choice of two sides." I chose a Caesar Salad and a loaded baked potato for my sides. My mother chose a side salad and loaded baked potato. My Caesar had a lot of the parts of lettuce that you usually throw away when making a salad at home. So I only ate part of my salad. The dressing was tasty and I like the large shreds of parmesan! My potato had about one drop of butter and the smallest amount of sour cream possible (not even a "dollop of Daisy"), two or three teensy bacon pieces, a minimal amount of green onions, and a few shreds of cheese. It wasn't cooked all the way. I didn't really eat it. The rice was old and just a clump on my plate. I didn't eat that either. Now for the main part of the meal... The lobster tail was very small and a bit over cooked; I ate half. The scallops pictured on the menu (and as described on the menu) were supposed to be sea scallops (the large delicious scallops), but we received Bay Scallops (the tiny, less expensive, tougher scallops). So that was very disappointing. The garlic shrimp and Walt's Favorite Shrimp were pretty good for frozen shrimp! All-in-all, the staff made our experience great! The food was... average at best. I don't recommend indulging in the restaurant's namesake "fest" because the money paid isn't worth the food presented. Ironically, Red Lobster is not the place to get lobster. However, it's a chain restaurant, so we know what to expect from the frozen shrimp. In terms of Red Lobsters, if you come here, go for the shrimp! Don't order anything with sea scallops because they'll just replace them with bay scallops. Don't bother with the rice. Skip the "loaded" baked potato and the salads and go for some of their other sides! And they do make a great Long Island Ice Tea, so if you would like to imbibe on alcohol, go for that! read more

I couldn't wait to get the current special, all you can eat shrimp. My favorite time of year, so I waited to come visit my daughter so she can enjoy with me. We got there at opening on Wednesday and sat in Neil's section. He came by right away and answered my questions. We took some time to figure out what my grandkids wanted and then we were ready to order. Neil had about 4 tables and never left us hanging, always filling our drinks and getting what we needed. Here is what we had: All you can eat shrimp, favorites were Nashville Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp and the Honey Sriracha(all were delicious) Tilapia Tacos (delicious) For the kids Mac & Cheese and Chicken Strips. They were both very happy. My granddaughter had chocolate cake and ice cream. Also yummy The service was perfect and so was the food. Bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant. After having a negative experience at the New Philadelphia restaurant during the Covid pandemic, my wife and I decided to give it a try Saturday, this time at the Canton Belden Village restaurant. Needless to say, never again! My order of the Admiral's Feast dinner that I have always loved, was nothing more than awful.The entire deep fried dinner was way over cooked and the food was hard and crunchy with no moistness what so ever. The clam strips are no longer strips and more resemble small bits and pieces that may have been the bottom of the bag crumbs. The meal is no longer served on a plate but dropped into a metal bowl lined with paper that looks much like a dog water bowl. I would think if an Admiral would have been served this meal, the cook would have been Keelhauled. Does it get better? My wife ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops after being told no Stuffed Flounder. These were way under cooked with no sear on ether side, chewy and like eating Silly Putty. After receiving the bill, I noticed a charge for my salad which was one of my two sides with the main course. When I questioned the server about this charge he stated that this was considered a premium side. So my understanding is that this meal comes with two sides however, only one is free. The total bill, $91.64 for two, with tip. I feel so ripped off I have thought about filing a charge back to my credit card. To sum it up, Red Lobster has always been pricey yet worth it. Unfortunately one of my favorite all time dining establishments has become no more than a very expensive, mediocre roadside diner. Please don't bother, I do not have Facebook. We picked Red Lobster because our 11 year old granddaughter LOVES crab legs for her birthday. I went more for the variety of shrimp. We were a group of 8 and were quickly seated even without a reservation (it was a Tuesday evening). The server was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Salads and those wonderful cheddar biscuits were fresh and appropriately cool and warm. The only reason we don't come here more often is the price! I do realize that seafood is expensive, so it is a special treat and we just accept the price. read more

Service is great for lunch Sunday, but food was over priced. Years ago food was better and price was much more reasonable. Noise level was much better in the past than today. Parking is great and layout is pleasant inside and out. Sea food is usually a good change of pace, but not today for Shrimp Trio! We both order it And both of us were disappointed. Lobster is always good and most other meals, but very pricey. Restrooms were clean and at the front of the restaurant. A bar section is off the main lobby that includes a water tank of live lobsters! We eat at the red lobster and bring guest's quite often....Have always had great food and great service. Last night we ate at the red lobster in the Belden Village area and the food and the service we're totally terrible. It wasn't even very busy, and yet our server brought out our food sporadically, never did get one order of french fries or biscuits of which we had three baskets were all mushy not cooked long enough. Our server was also very short and rude. We started at the bar and when they called our table ready after a 15 minute wait, They told us to go sit down somewhere bring our food we waited approximately 10 minutes then got up and went and got our own food and charted to the table. I ordered from Doordash and got my meal very fast, so I assumed it would be hot and fresh. I was mistaken. The food was room temperature at best. And the quality was exceptionally poor. I ordered two Admiral's Feasts. The clam strips were so tough and rubbery as to be inedible. The shrimp and scallops were soggy, and the fish was actually fish sticks. The biscuits are gummy. Not to mention they failed to include the coleslaw, but that might have been a favor, considering the state of all the other food. This is not what I've come to expect from this Red Lobster, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. Hopefully it's just an off day, but I don't know if I'm willing to try again. read more

I'll start out with the good - 1) our server was excellent, she refilled drinks promptly and was very friendly and checked on us regularly. A+ 2) the food was very good and tasted perfectly cooked and fresh. A+ 3) the ambiance was very nice for a large chain restaurant, I felt very comfortable. Bad (they're not that bad, but I wanted to bring it up) 1) everything looked pretty clean till I looked at the floor. The employees should be sweeping the dining area regularly especially if the floor is dirty. The floor needed swept. 2) when I was there employees were hanging out at the bar. As we walk in, my little one has to use the mens room. as we walk inside, it wreaked of marijuana. there was so much smoke I thought something was on fire. So we do our business and walk out behind the man in the stall where the smoke was coming from. He walks into the kitchen!!! So we sit down and order. Received our food in a Timely manner, great server. My rice with my meal was so hard I couldn't eat it. Half of my seafarers feast was ice cold. My childrens french fries were cold. My wife enjoyed her coconut shrimp. I guess when you are high you can fry the freezer shrimp with no problem, but can't make rice and lose track of time. I'm not against weed, but damn man, smoke you get off work. Management doesn't seem to care anymore, I'm sure this location will close soon. Saturday Oct. 15, 2023 the wife and I visited red Lobster about 7PM and as we gave the hostess our names were told there was only a 30 minute wait. We told her we would go to the bar and have a drink while waiting so they took our cell number to text us when a table was available. We each ordered a drink and we ordered an appetizer which came very timely. At one hour later we went to the hostess to see what was up and were told they were prepping and cleaning our table so we sat down close to the hostess. Another 30 minutes passes with no table and we can hear the hostess tell each new person that came in that there was only a 30-minure wait. a couple came by us from the restroom and told us they had been seated at a table for the last 20-minutes without even a glass of water. At that point we got up and left. I won't be lied to or taken advantage of again at that restaurant. Thanks for nothing Red Libster! read more

Hubs and I were looking forward to treating our parents out and I have to say that this was truly a disappointing experience. Our server was pleasant but distracted, we had to ask her for our drinks when our apps arrived and she had already been to our table to drop off napkins. On her 4th visit to our table, she finally took our meal order. And, when we asked for an extra plate, she didn't bring it until after we had to resort to using our used app plates and we had already told her to forget about it. We started with Shrimp cocktail, which were plump and perfectly cooked, the Lobster & Langostino pizza was a definite meh...no flavor at all...we ended up putting some cocktail sauce on it. My Mom and I shared the create your own Ultimate feast, and for the price it was a MAJOR let down. ($32.99+3.99) We didn't know until after we received our salads that they didn't have the Dungeness crab. (which is a 3.99 upgrade) We chose the snow crab instead and it came out tepid and VERY fishy-tasting...NOT "good eats"! The Butter Poached Lobster tail meat was a JOKE! Seriously, I think it was langostinos and and maybe leg meat. It certainly was NOT Lobster tail. The loaded baked potato and wood-fired shrimp skewers were the best thing on the plate. The crab rangoon shrimp was passable, although a little light on the crab rangoon. My hubs ordered the 3-course dinner, in which he enjoyed his potato soup, but when they brought out his "lunch-sized" portion of Cajun Chicken Alfredo, I knew we were going to have to stop for a "4th" meal. Fortunately, my Dad enjoyed his wood-fired scallops and coconut shrimp, so that is what saved this from a 1-star. Sadly, they might consider changing their name to Red Shrimp since that seems to be the only thing worth eating on their menu. Fantastic, delicious seafood and steak. And all of that for fair prices and quantities! My husband got The Ultimate Feast deal so we got to try a bit of many different seafood items for 30 bucks, sauces, and sides. I got a NY strip steak. A very fair amount of steak, it was fat and large, very flavorful, and brought out rare, just the way I asked for. And their two sides that come with it were great, I love their mashed potatoes! The potatoes are so flavorful and good they are even great when reheated and ate for lunch the next day. The service was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us every 10 to 15 minutes. Most places we eat at anymore, we expect to be set back at least 100 dollars and left not completely full, with okay-ish tasting food. But we were surprised when we got a check for only 72 bucks between us both, two large meals, and with a alcoholic drink to top it off. And we left with plenty of leftovers for later too. The food was so absolutely flavorful and satisfying. Nothing was done poorly. I look forward to visiting again. This just may be my new favorite 'go to' on an extra stressful day. read more

Generally, I prefer small, local restaurants over the large, in your face corporate ones. But this Red Lobster completely changed my view on franchise restaurants. The wait was short, the food was terrific, and the service was fabulous. While Red Lobster is more on the pricier side, the servings were generous. I ordered the half portion of the lobster and crab linguine pasta, and along with the salad that came with it and the cheddar rolls, I was beyond satisfied (and full!) after I left. We did have one minor problem with our food though. My boyfriend's sister had ordered a medium rare steak, and the first time they brought it out, it was completely cooked through. The server (her name was Stacey), had the kitchen cook another steak, and this time, it was completely rare on the inside. But they made up for it by not charging us for the steak (it was an $18 steak!). Besides the prices, I will definitely be back at a Red Lobster sometime soon. Whenever I'm in Canton visiting my folks, we always go to Red Lobster. Yesterday's experience was wonderful, as always. We found parking within 20 steps from the door, the hostess seating us (sorry I don't remember her name, but she wore the coolest sparkly black headband) was really freindly and personable. Our waiter, Neil, was polite and attentive, bringing to-go boxes for my folks and even offering a paper bag for their boxes. Everyone agreed that the food was great ~ the potato-bacon soup and the chicken strips were enjoyed by my folks (they're not really seafood lovers) and my shrimp scampi was perfect, as always. We loved all the salads ~ ceasar, garden with thousand island dressing and cole slaw. The cheddar biscuits are yummy and nobody had room for desert. The Manager walked around the room, asking at each table is everything was OK ~ I like that! Spending this last week or so with my 85 year old folks has really made me aware of how much more "elder friendly" businesses could be....one suggestion here: ask the hostess to be aware that older people don't walk as quickly as 20 somethings....she walked so quickly my folks were feeling that they were lagging behind. And Neil could have spoken louder ~ my folks were having a hard time hearing him. I've never eaten at a Red Lobster that didn't have consistently good food and service. I called in a order. I ordered a shrimp & chicken Alfredo. The person on the phone gave me a price of $18 and some change I believe but when I got there to pick up my order they told me they have to add $5 on to the order for the shrimp and I don't live close by so I drove to the store for no reason. I wouldn't of mind paying the full price if they would of told me ahead of time but since they told me one price over the phone and another price in person I just decided not to get nothing. I rarely eat at Red Lobster. For one, I don't really like the big chain restaurants and on top of that, I don't eat a lot of seafood. I enjoy seafood but I would probably eat more of it if I lived somewhere along the coast. The service was fantastic. We didn't have to wait at all. Our server was on top of everything and very helpful. To me, those are all very important parts of the entire restaurant experience, but the most important part is the food and I was really unimpressed. We had several gift cards so I decided to splurge a little and I got a combination meal that comes to close to $24. I ordered the stuffed flounder, grilled salmon, and even though I know their specialty is seafood, I decided to try their peppercorn sirloin steak. I love grilled salmon so I was really hoping that if I didn't like the other two, at least that one would be good. I also got a caesar salad and red potatoes with the meal. Well, I started off with the caesar salad which was not very good. The dressing was basically in the bottom of the bowl so I had to mix it in and then, I really didn't like their caesar dressing. Then the meal came. The salmon and the steak were a bit dry and the flounder was just so-so. It really didn't seem to have much of any kind of flavor to it. The red potatoes were good but maybe a little too crispy. My wife got the endless shrimp and she really wasn't impressed with it either. On the other hand, my sister-in-law got the ultimate feast and she absolutely loved the crab legs. I was definitely full when I was finished but then again, I'm usually full after eating at most restaurants. Overall, when it comes to seafood, I've definitely experienced better and I think I'll stick to the independent and local restaurants for my seafood. As far as Red Lobsters are concerned, this is an excellent one because the service was excellent, but food just plays the most important role for me. read more
