I ordered the 6 oz filet with lobster. My husband ordered the 6 oz renegade. my expensive filet looked exactly like his renegade!! I questioned it and I was told by the Manager that that is how their filets are cooked so the cook can cook them correctly. I ordered a medium how can a steakhouse not know how to cook a regular size filet to a medium. And the lobster was so tiny I was asked about that and waiter said it was 4oz, it was 6 small bites!!! very disappointed! read more

My boyfriend and I went here and got steaks he got a porterhouse and I got a strip steak. His food was great, mine on the other hand was not. I ordered a 12 oz look more like a 6 oz and I asked that it have a very pink center , it was well done. It sucked for what it cost. Was very disappointed. I have always got good steak there. Atmosphere: the day after Valentine's Day, we went early around 3:00 and it wasn't too crowded and the restaurant looked nice and clean and nice lighting. They gave us the best corner booth in our opinion. Food: we did not get any appetizers because we knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered our drinks which were a cab sauv, a shot of tequila for my girlfriend and two waters, one with extra lemon. They did NOT play with the extra lemon. I think she had about 7 wedges in there. Once our drinks came back, we ordered our food. I ordered a filet and lobster tail medium rare and my girlfriend ordered a sirloin medium well (still hurts my heart) with mushrooms. The steaks were PERFECT. My only complaint would be that the lobster tail was slightly overcooked but not to the point where it was chalky and had to send back. But we were so pleased with the meal and having a great time that it didn't even faulted our experience or our rating. Everything was delicious. Overall: I hadn't been to longhorn in over 10 years. And I have to say that I didn't remember it being soooo good. We will be back VERY soon. Also, would live to say to give a shoutout to our waitress who was just so friendly and wonderful. I went there for my birthday. Everything was perfect, the staff was attentive and pleasant, the food was remarkable. Even the cheesecake (usually not so impressive in a restaurant) was delightful. The only downside was that we were packed in there like sardines and that was not so pleasant. we ordered curb side pick up. when arriving, i parked in pick up spot marked 3. called in to let them know that i was her. i could clearly see an order of food waiting for pick up. as i was waiting i seen the bag of food get pushed back and more food loading up. there was another 4 cars that had arrived and recieved there food and was gone. by this time, i had been there for half an hour. i then went to call back in, at this time a runner came out and asked me if i was waiting on an order. i told her yes and gave her the name on the order. she then went in and grabbed the bag of food that was sitting there for well over the half hour. as she returned, i told her that the food had been pushed back and was cold at this point. she then told me that all the food bags had just came up at the same time, which she was wrong. she went back into the store and talked to her maager. the lady manager came back out with the same bag of food and asked what the issue was. after i discribed the issue, she the aske if i had ever worked in the food industry and said she had 2 new workers. she also told me the food was just put up. as i told her 5 times that i sat there and watched. so as she basically just called me a liar. the second time that i told her that i actually sat and observed my bag of food and i told her that she was lying. she then told me that she goes to church and does notlie. what does church have to do with this issue. all i wanted was for them to remake my food. i am paying for hot quality food, and that is what i expect. dhe refused and tried to force the bag of food on me. at this point i refused the food and am really getting pissed off. what ever happened to customer service? this manager is so out of touch, i believe that she should be given more training. i have gone to this same restaraunt over the years and have spent thousands, no longer after dealing with her. she basically made me take the food, which ended up being cold, but i noticed that there was a time stamped on the food itself, why gee, if she would have simply listened to my issue then you would have thaught that she would have at minimum checed the time on the food. i will never return to this store, as there is an outback and a texas roadhouse just down the street. read more

Had dinner here on a Tuesday around 4:15pm.The resturant was not crowded but our waitress seemed to be in a rush and pre-occupied. She was not attentive and never asked us how our meal was. One word: Yum! More words: I'm not much of a steak eater. The one time I did have steak, I couldn't complain about it. Of course every time I come here I get the tonion and that's the best go-to appetizer! On a normal day I order the parmesan chicken. Ohhhh my god is it amazing. It's also a big portion with two sides! Fresh bread is served with meals on a fancy little cutting board and it's unlimited. They do singing for birthdays...which I have been successfully bombarded with once along with a huge piece of dessert cake (they bring ice cream of you don't want to buy the cake). I tried an interesting drink that was served with rock candy. They leave the shaker with refills!! It ended up being like 5 seperate drinks. It was great!! I've had one bad experience. It was on one of their busiest days and I can understand having to wait. However we called ahead of time and was told how long the wait would be if we put our name in now, so we did and showed at that time we agreed on with whoever was on the phone. Yes it is a chain, and yes the dishes are predictable just like any other chain steakhouse. What I do like about this place is prompt service, nice people, and fair prices. At first I was a bit taken back as the Lunch portions were a bit small compared to other places, but then I was like "FINALLY". I'm very well served. I ordered a longhorn and two sides. The steak came with a lot of seasoning and it was very salty. However, after I notofied the waiter, the manager came and replaced it with a light seasoned steak. Came here for my birthday dinner will my hopes high and boy did they deliver. We were originally planning to go to the longhorn in Montrose, however, that was dashed by a 45 minute wait. If you are going to plan a trip to longhorn for dinner around 6-7, ESPECIALLY on the weekend, I would highly recommend making a reservation, as the can get extremely busy. Upon arrival, we were given a more acceptable 20 minute wait to be seated. After some waiting, we were politely escorted to our table, and greeted by our waiter for our drink orders. We were also quickly given a small loaf of honey bread and butter (longhorn signature) which was very pleasing. These pieces of bread are unlimited so even if you come in and order a carrot you can still get stuffed on the bread. We opted for an appetizer, and chose the parmesan covered mushrooms. Now listen here, they are close to $10, and you do only get 5, but OH MY LORD are those freaking things good. They put the coved in cheese covered these things were loaded, and the mushrooms were fresh with just enough taste. For our entrees I opted for the parmesan crusted Outlaw Ribeye, and a premium side order of steakhouse Mac and cheese. The premium sides are 1.99 extra, and my order costed around $30 total. My girlfriend went for the parmesan chicken and mashed potatoes on the side. Not soon after ordering we were greeted with our salads. The greens were fresh and crunchy, however the salad was a bit boring. Mine was Caesar (one of only two choices) however included little more than some lettuce and croutons. Not soon after we were brought our entrees. The presentation was pretty amazing for a chain steakhouse, and one might think it's been designed to be Snapchat friendly with a branding on the upper edge of the plate. The steak was divine albeit somewhat undercooked from the medium I ordered. Nevertheless, I happily savored every bite, as it was seasoned so well and was so tender that I didn't even ask for A1; AND THIS GUY LOVES HIS STEAK SAUCE! The Mac and cheese was good too, but it could've been a little creamier as most of its cheese content relied on half melted shredded cheese. We opted not to get dessert as we were packed to the brim. All in all I was incredibly satisfied with our meal. The service was excellent with all employees being very polite and giving smiles. Our waiter was also very attentive and check on us somewhere around 6-7 times throughout our half hour meal. If you are looking for a good get together spot and starving for some protein, look no further than longhorn steakhouse. It's in the higher price range for many, and you won't want to be a regular here if you wish to keep your wallet happy (~$75 for two including tip) All that aside, I've come here many times and have never left disappointed, and will also say that it's my personal favorite of all big chain steakhouses. Rather disappointed at our dinner there yesterday. My husband and I both ordered ribeyes. His looked like a strip steak. Same shape and size. Fat on the side of it like a strip. Server said it was a ribeye it's just the end where the rib portion meets the short loin. It had same texture and taste as a strip which is very different than a ribeye. Even if server was truthful, if it's the end of the cut and inferior quality, done put it on the plate. My steak was supposed to be "still moving" rate. It wAs medium. My husbands steak was supposed to be medium rare -/was medium to well fine. Our sever was very good. And The broccoli and mushrooms were good. But it bothers me when a steak house can't do a steak right. I can make a ribeye at home for half the price and much better prepared, so why should we go back there? read more
