Food is definitely not fresh as it states. The child's fish used to be flounder and cooked very well and now it is cod and you can tell it has been frozen for quite some time. The "fresh" tilapia taco was awful. The fish itself was super thin, tough, greasy, and had a freezer burn taste. The broccoli we asked to be steamed some more because it was crunchy. They brought it back microwaved. I can definitely say we won't be back. read more

I absolutely love dinning here with my two little ones . The management/Sherrie has always made sure every guest was having the ultimate experience. The plate are so beautiful and delicious the chefs are well trained and the servers are always knowledgeable over the menu. I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and enjoyed the experience. Today was a disappointment. Debris was on the floor in the dining rooms. The women's restroom was out of soap and toilet paper. I had to dig through a basket of soggy paper towels to find a dry tissue to wipe my hands. A manager was in the restroom and informed the hostess of the issue. I was excited to try a new dish. Unfortunately, it was served with a hair. I told the waitress I did not want a replacement. She came back to tell me the manager took my order off the bill. I replied, "Thank you. She should. The dining room's dirty as well as the restroom. It's filthy." The manager finally came over and said she removed the meal then asked if she could get anything else for me. I told her once again the restaurant is dirty. She said it was because they were busy. Being too busy to clean, is not a valid excuse. After she returned to the employees, she began telling them to clean areas in the restaurant. They even swept the floor right next to us. One of the workers remarked she had restocked everything, she wasn't doing anything else. It's a shame some restaurants have let their standards fall so low. read more

I will never go back. I can't stand packaged iceberg lettuce. And some of the lettuce was brown. Their ranch dressing is terrible. The cheese sticks were awful. The loaded potato was lukewarm. The shrimp tastes like it was grilled with a marinade of bacon drippings. The check was ridiculous. What a terrible restaurant that's over priced for the quality of food served. read more

My wife and I went to this Red Lobster with our 11 year old son last night for dinner. It was ok. Our server came after a while. We liked our food. My salad with shrimp on it was good. My clam chowder was tasty. The fresh biscuits were really good. Go here if you aren't busy or in a hurry. Our waiter was a bit overwhelmed with too many tables to serve. He did the best he could. We will go back because we like the food. My wife admiral platter was a lot of food. read more

Food is good, but my wife and I waited over an hour to receive our main courses. I was left without a drink for over 25 minutes with no refill. After all we went through, the manager gave us a whole 20% off. Really?20% off our bill for wasting an hour out of our lives? Horrible and unacceptabble treatment. Although our town does not have much to offer this has to have been one of the worst experiences. After finding a bug in our salad on our last visit we have not gone to this red lobster in probably 6 months but decided to give it another try . The drinks didn't even taste right! My daughter had to send back her strawberry lemonade because she said it actually tasted bad. Then that's false advertising. I ordered flounder. When the waitress returned she repeated here is the flounder. After looking at it and tasting it I realized it was not flounder and only after I pointed that out did she come back from the kitchen and make the statement that because of trump policies they do not have flounder but are serving white fish instead. So they lied and told me they were serving me flounder when they knew they were serving white fish. I wonder if they thought of the fact that people have allergies while they are serving whitefish and claiming it as flounder. The food overall was old and fishy and although we could not eat our food we did take it to go but when we got home because both me and my daughter's stomach began to feel sick we threw the food out! We won't be going back to this red lobster but we wanted to warn others that you may not be getting what the menu says you are or that your server says you are getting. read more

The very best salmon I have ever tasted since losing my father (who was a salmon fisherman on the west coast.) Excellent service. I was a tad disappointed in the salad. It seemed to be a bit sparse and could have easily been jazzed up with a few ingredients. Mostly, it was an excellent night and we will return for sure. Fantastic service. read more

The service is always courteous and efficient. The food is always fresh and hot. The servers and the management seem to really care that the customers are treated well and are satisfied. My family and I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. And, the prices are reasonable. The portions are big. We always end up taking food home. I wish they had more vegetarian oriented choices for some of my family members. The salads aren't fantastic but they are certainly adequate. Maybe I should've given it five stars instead of four. But I think you should visit this restaurant and give it a try. Then write your own review! read more

I love red lobster, but I would go to another before this location. The service was just TERRIBLE. Me and my wife came here for one of the few nights we didn't have the children, it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. The waitress said there were no cheese biscuits (why would I go to red lobster then?) Even though I watched the other sections get tray after tray of biscuits while our server was sitting at a table on her phone. WI'll not be coming back to this location, I'll go to rome or kennesaw before this one! read more

We like to visit Red Lobster about once every month or so. One time, the service was poor and the fried portions of fish were over-cooked. The worst thing, however, was the volume of the terrible, unidentifiable music they were playing. We finally got them to turn it down. (It was around 3pm...odd time to eat, but we're senior citizens). We stopped there again, but when we walked in, that same strange, loud music was playing in the lobby as we walked in. (around 5 pm). I asked the server who greeted us if we could get it turned down in the section he would seat us in. (after a stressful day we wanted a nice atmosphere to catch up and relax). He looked doubtful and said we would have to talk to a manager and "maybe" he could reduce the volume. We decided to leave, but I called the manager on our way to the Appalachian Grill (much better, around the same price, wonderful atmosphere). The RL manager was very nice and told us he could not change the music, but he would be happy to reduce the volume. Soooo....a couple of weeks later, we decided to try again. (weekend around 7). So glad we did! The service was good, the music was the same genre but at an acceptable volume and the food was cooked to perfection. Hopefully, our next visit will be the same. Hopefully, they have changed managers, as there was an obvious absence of good management on two out of three visits. I'm glad we gave them a third chance! We think maybe the good managers and cooks come in later and we should only dine there after 7! read more

This place is a disaster! Even if you think Red Lobsters are fabulous, this one will change that thinking. I've been to this one a couple times, when in Cartersville on business, but tonight was the absolute worse. Never again! I ordered the fish-and-chips and they're "out of the fish." This is at 6 PM, so I doubt they had a "run" on it. Next comes the totally lukewarm clam chower which I have to return. Then, to cap it off, I get the trout (that was fine) ... the baked potato was not fully done and the broccoli was so overcooked it was dry and entirely flavorless. When you can't get a baked potato an broccoli right, you fail restaurant cooking 101!!! Previously, the service was slow and the waiter had an "attitude." This time the service was fine, but the food horrible. This place must have some serious managerial problems. read more

The dressing in our salads were watered down. The shrimp was okay, nothing special (we had popcorn shrimp). This place used to be so good but they have changed vendors or something. One of the worst restaurants in town. Service is not why we go out to eat. FOOD is. Clearly this place no longer "cooks" anything. It may arrive hot but it was frozen this morning, thawed out and re-heated. My dog could do that. Snow crab = no meat. Salad = 2 days old and dry. Chowder = warmed up milk/ one piece of clam. Even the biscuits were under cooked and not fresh. Sad that this place was once great and now is absolutely terrible. Don't go and don't believe these reviews that rate it high. You would be better off (and WAY less expensive) preparing this at home yourself. read more

We moved to Georgia from Louisiana 4 years ago. We started eating at Red Lobster at that time. We enjoyed the four meal course for 16.99, especially because we loved the potato soup. On August 9, 2015, we could not wait to eat there with my mother who was visiting. Could not wait to order the four-course meal. Got there and discovered there was no more four-course meal except on certain days, and no more potato soup at all. Was so upset that if my family wouldn't have talked me out of it, we would have left. Also, there was an episode going on with the table behind us. Obviously the people were not happy with their food or service or something, so the whole time we were there the loud-mouthed manager was dealing with these people, and I felt stressed because of the situation. Do not plan on going there again any time in the near future, even though we have been a customer for the last four years going one to two weekends a month. Let me know if you bring back the potato soup and the four-course meal every day again, and I'll be a regular customer again. read more

Red lobster is a chain of restaurants that are located all around the United States. It is a restaurant that could be fancy, but is mostly casual. This restaurant was a very clean and nice place. I have been to many different red lobster locations (more than I can count), and this was one of the top ones I have been too. My family and I went to eat between seven and seven thirty so that was still a busy time for dinner. For a table for four we waited no longer than ten minutes to be seated. While we waited there were plenty of benches for people to sit on for their wait. Momentarily after being seated our waiter was there to get our drinks. He walked right over to get our drinks and brought them back with the basket of bread you receive before your meal. The bread, if done right, can be amazing. It has cheese baked in with a bit of garlic that just gives it a bit of flavor, but not overpowering. The bread we received in this restaurant was amazing. They had them covered with a napkin to trap in the heat. The bread was baked perfectly; not too browned or underdone. Unlike many restaurants I have been to, another basket of bread was brought to us once ours was empty without us needing to ask for more. As I looked around I noticed no one's drinks were ever empty. The waiters were very good about keeping the drinks filled for all the costumers. Our food was brought out relatively quick. The wait was not something that was any problem for us. All our meals were excellent as usual. The waiters were also very polite. I could hear some of them talking to people at tables around and they were all polite and didn't seem to resent having to do their job. It is always nice to have someone wait on you that doesn't show that they have no interest in doing their job. I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. I give this four stars because I have not been there enough to say it is super great. read more
