The homes fries were good, not bland like most diners/restaurants we have gone to. The coffee was also good, not bitter like many coffees can be. The service was pleasant and attentive. We were sat immediately. There are booths on both sides of the dining area and tables in the middle. The main dining area can comfortably sit approximately sixty to eighty people. There is also a sit down counter as well. What struck me most, was how well laid out and comfortable the dining area was. For a relatively small restaurant it was quaint very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with how some of the booths had frosted glass partitions with nostalgic photos embossed on them. The restaurant also had a cute small electric wooden train running above along the ceiling. The kids really enjoyed watching the train running. I was surprised with the low review ratings from some of the customers. We will be back for lunch or dinner. I feel comfortable recommending this restaurant.

My 2 eggs sunny side up were cooked perfectly, as were the home fries. There was ketchup and a nice green Picamas hot sauce, and plenty of jelly for the buttered toast. The coffee is solid diner coffee. I was so impressed, I came back today and had the same breakfast, but with delicious sausage links added. Everything was great again. In the recent past 3 years, they have shifted more and more to places that reheat frozen, tasteless and less healthy frozen "food." I sure hope the Perkins franchise owners will reopen in a new location nearby but have my doubts given Perkins' financial situation nationwide. So, I end this review with a big thank you to all those who worked at Perkins for the years of giving us good food at good prices at a good location.
