a plate of salad with dressing

Gave this place two chances. Endless shrimp, sat for 30 minutes waiting for first round of food and even to see my server. This time.. I find out I'm the only table... now I then find out the server is going through some tough times so after sitting for 23 minutes with the raw steak (ordered medium) grab another waitress... get manager... manager is amazing !!! Has been both times! But I go to give this server a tip and she chucks it like f me!!! Will not be returning. Pictured, "Caesar salad" that you get an upcharge for... that's wilted and also just as disgusting as the service.

We had a hunger for seafood & there aren't a lot of choices in Chsmbersburg, so we came here, even though we're not fans of chain restaurants. I had the rock lobster tail & it was good. In the end, though, my husband made the better choice because he ordered an entree that included a small lobster tail but also three kinds of shrimp--fried & sautéed & grilled. I got tired of eating just the lobster while he enjoyed the variety. There's another detail I need to mention. We had dinner here Saturday night. And on Sunday morning I realized that my credit card was missing from my wallet. I called the restaurant & said I feared that I'd left my credit card. The manager checked the safe & said it was there & secure. When I went to the restaurant, they produced it for me. They handled the incident very professionally,

I sat at the bar where the bartender repeatedly referred to me as his "Bro" and his "Main man" and "Dude" but whatever. He was at least attentive and that was good. He also brought me fresh biscuits to take with me at the end of my meal. I had the seafood stuffed mushrooms to start and these were the highlight of the meal. Well stuffed and not too much breading, they were super hot and very tasty. I'd have these again. Caesar salad was inedible due to being buried under way too much cheese and then drowned in dressing. The croutons were good though. Main course, I chose the shrimp feast. The alfredo was nice and creamy, very well filled with shrimp. The butterflied and fried shrimp were also good, nice and crunchy. I opted to skip the shrimp scampi as there was no garlic. It was simply a half dozen shrimp in a bowl of hot butter. That was a waste. The green beans were overdone and mushy with no crunch or snap to them. It's a chain and it's likely the same here as anywhere else. I've been to exactly one other RL in the last eight years and it was just the same.

My husband and I both ordered the admirals feast. I also ordered a lobster bisque, and he ordered a Tito's strawberry lemonade - nothing was good. The mixed drink was sickening sweet with absolutely no taste or Tito's. I've had better lobster bisque out of a can, there was no taste difference in the different items served in the admirals feast - very disappointing- we haven't been to Red Lobster in a couple years and won't be returning any time soon!

I don't go to a lot of chain restaurants but Red Lobster always seems to do a good job. I will say if you are on a diet this is not the place to eat as most of the entrees are well over half your recommended daily caloric intake but who can resist cheddar biscuits. Seriously if you don't like them you are dead inside and need to stop following my reviews. The restaurant was modern and clean and the staff was very friendly and prompt. The food came out quickly. All the seafood was clearly fresh not frozen. The presentation could have been better. The lobster and shrimp were both very tasty. The salmon was well cooked but the brown butter sauce was undetectable. A squeeze of lemon and some salt and pepper fixed that. Overall a very nice dinner. Perhaps next tine I'll pick a lobster out of the tank like Julius Caesar at a gladiator match.

You can certainly find a better place to eat. How do you ruin a boiled lobster? I feel badly for the lobster.

I've been reading all the good reviews about this place for a while now so we finally decided to…read moremeet friends there for a late lunch. The lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu. This restaurant is located in Fairfield, PA. They need to update the address on their website. We were directed to 989 Track Rd. but the actual address is 2789 Track Rd. I don't have any explanation for this discrepancy. This is a very casual place; the dining area is open to the bar, which I don't particularly care for, but it was clean. There is also a covered deck outside where you can sit and have your meal as well. The plastic bucket in the middle of the table was meant to be the communal waste can for discarded crab shells, shrimp skins, paper trash, etc. I guess it was a handy thing to have if you're eating crabs but kind of disgusting if you're not. I'd prefer NOT to have to look at the discarded remains of my fellow dining partners meals. My girlfriend and I each ordered wine; she a White Zinfandel and for myself a Pinot Grigio. Both were such an inexpensive version and so sickeningly sweet that we both winced when we took a sip. Hubby was happy with his Stella on tap. It's more of a beer place. My friend and I split an appetizer of peel and eat shrimp. They really were delicious and were more than just Old Bay Seafood seasoning; there was just something that made them really tasty. I tried one of her hush puppies and it was probably the best hush puppy I've ever eaten. My Crab Imperial was OK. It wasn't creamy. It was kind of chunky which was a little bit offputting. I'm not sure what type of crab was used‍The baked potato was way overcooked and had so much butter on it that I couldn't taste the potato. It was just a mushy greasy mess. Our salads came in such small plastic bowls that mine tipped over the first time I put my fork inside. My hubby's fish was outstanding and my girlfriend's husband gobbled up his dinner, so I'm assuming it was really good as well. Overall, it was ok ... I didn't feel it lived up to all the good reviews that it has gotten.

Food came out at just the right pace between courses. Ambience was only "ok"... I did notice that things looked a bit worn. And one thing that bothered me was that there were ceiling tiles that were badly water stained and sagging... nothing active, but it was very unsightly. Given that they are very easy to replace, leaving them there just made the place feel less "special evening" ambience to more like "a diner" which is a shame for a place i expected to be more classy. As for the food we had lots of positives to say. We tried the crab bisque appetizer which was thick and creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and crab meat. The portion for a first course was generous. We also got the steamed mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce. The mussels were cooked perfectly. They were plump, tender and flavorful the sauce was delicious. Be sure to ask for extra bread to soak up some of the broth and juices. The side salads were likewise generous portions, fresh and crisp. Very happy! The main courses come with just one side. I got the fried seafood platter with hushpuppies and my wife got the stuffed flounder with onion rings. The fried platter came with flounder, shrimp and oysters, with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. All were coated in a lightly seasoned breading that was crisp. Not overly thick. The hushpuppies, which other reviewers said were outstanding, I found to be on the sweet side. Crisp, yes, but overall just ok...I prefer mine more savory than sweet. The stuffed flounder was also very well done. Delicious. The flounder was cooked just right. Flaky and moist. The onion rings were thick cut, beer batter dipped. They were hot and crisp and the portion like everything else here was generous. In the end we did need a box to bring some of our entrees home. We left very satisfied. So I was pretty satisfied with the food and the service. Now if they could just do something to get the dining room as upscale as the food and service this would be an outstanding dining experience... thus only four stars instead of five.

The ambience is very cute - there are multiple floors to the restaurant so one given area doesn't feel overly crowded. The cocktail menu has some fun and unique options and the food menu has something for everyone! We got the mussels to start, and honestly I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. But the sauce was delicious and I loved the potatoes that came with it. The mussels themselves were very large too! For my main I got the hake, which was so tender and flavorful. It was a generous portion and I was stuffed, but we kept seeing other people order the coffee cake and couldn't help ourselves. I'm so glad we got it, because I'm not normally huge into coffee cake, but this was so delicious that we finished it all! Our server had great recommendations and was patient as we took a long time deciding what to order. I can't wait to come back!
