This visit was the worst visit I have ever encountered at Red Lobster. It had been nearly 2 years since we have visited a Red Lobster, mostly because of our previous experience in McDonaugh, GA. On June 5, we visited Red Lobster in Conyers, GA and right out of the gate, there seemed to be issues. I had checked in online through the app and it said our wait should be about 40 minutes. We arrived maybe a few minutes early, and our table was not ready. No problem we said, and went to sit at the bar to get a drink. There were 2 other people seated at the bar who were both eating & drinking alcoholic beverages. As we sat at the bar for a lengthy amount of time, no one came over to ask us for our drink order. Then one of the hostesses came over and told us that there was no bartender on duty because "she was overworked and was in the back on break."????? I asked "so you mean we cannot even order a drink at the table?" Oh no, she said -- we are able to order drinks at the table, but not at the bar?? Whatever. ... I didn't feel like spending $10-$15 on a drink anyway. We continued to sit at the bar until our table was finally ready, and we were seated. It took a little bit of time for our server to greet us, which she apologized for. We gave her our order and I requested a garden salad as one of my sides. Our server informed me that garden salads are no longer available at Red Lobster because they were losing money on them? WHAT???!!! How can Red Lobster be losing money on the cheapest item there is available, however you have no bartender at the bar to sell $10+ drinks while folks are waiting for their table???? Also, I would like to address the cleanliness of this restaurant. The area next to our table was completely filthy and I am not sure how this place has not been shut down by the Health Department! When we checked out, we provided our server with two $25 gift cards and an extra $20 to cover the remaining amount. Our total was $58.15 and the server applied one gift card, along with the $20 cash, then she applied the other gift card, leaving us a balance of $13.15 on the gift card? Any time I have ever visited a restaurant and paid with a gift card, the gift card(s) were always applied first before any cash was applied. Now we have a $13.15 gift card that we will never use. We came to celebrate my friends birthday on 2-12-20. There were 2 people in our party. We arrived at 2:17pm and left at 5.21pm. My friend had not celebrated her birthday in 8 years due to family deaths that occurred around her birthday. Today was supposed to be a joyous occasion filled with fun and laughter. Instead it was ruined by the direct actions of Manager Vincent Holmes and his staff and we will forever remember our bad experience. It is completely unacceptable that we had to sit and look at dirty dishes and half eaten food during our 3 hour dining experience.The restaurant was not even crowded. The table directly next to us sat dirty 35min the 1st time. The same table sat dirty 25 min the 2nd time. I know the times are not exaggerated because I used the call logs on my phone when I called a friend and when another friend happened to call as the starting times. We spent almost $120 for lunch to look at dirty dishes multiple times during our 3 hour dining experience and to be disrespected by the manager Vincent Holmes while also being made to feel like we were being unreasonable asking for the table to be cleaned. I have eaten at this location over 10 years and never had such a horrible experience. There is clearly staffing issues with this location starting with the Manager Vincent Holmes all the way down. My waitress Gwen was excellent but the other wait staff was not. Know I see why their Yelp review is 2 out of 5 stars. I used to own a restaurant and grew up working in restaurants my family owned. I am so disappointed with my experience that Red Lobster has lost me as a long time customer. read more

Last night I ordered through the app, a meal that had shrimp alfredo pasta. Got home, called Manager Darryl and let him know they didn't put shrimp in my pasta! He took my name, I opted a replacement at a later date over a refund. After hanging up, I discovered the scampi was hard and dry, and the heavily breaded fried shrimp were mushy or undercooked, and of course, the brussel sprouts were burnt as usual... They were closed, so I called this morning, explained it to ashley and she says "He's out of town. You'll have to talk to him next week." I was shocked at her unprofessional-like unwillingness, to assist with this matter. She claimed to be the manager! So I asked her calmly "So I'm just out of luck?" She had the audacity to say "yes"!!!! Meanwhile I'm angered about wasting almost $30 plus tip for bad food that was given to me 30 minutes AFTER quoted time and my order was inaccurate! As I'm sitting there, a small roach crawl out of the staw holder!!! I bring it to her attention and she snatches the straw holder away and asks if I want to move to the other side of the bar(THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY SIGN TO JUST NOT) but i move to another side anyway cus i'm hungry and needed something before i get the kids(don't judge me lol). So boom, 25 mins later food comes out cold as h*ll. Lobster extremely fishy smelling like it was no good, coconut shrimp rock hard, and rice just plain nasty. The dragon shrimp was JUST OKAY. I let my server know I'd like to see a manager, ASHLEY takes ANOTHER 15 minutes to even come speak to me. She repeatedly got rude. She was in a full conversation with the next table without giving us what we wanted. The women waitress here always have bad attitudes. This review is a review with mixed feelings. I want to say it ended well. I left and am still very upset about what happened. We arrived about 730 to put our name in, which the hostess never did. Almost 2 hours of waiting in our car for a table we finally went to check what was going on, because the restaurant would close at 10, and it was almost 930. My husband informed me that they didn't put our name in but they had a table to give us. She told him where to sit before he went and got me. So we went in. The short haired lady behind the bar giving uber eats drivers their food immediately said to us: who said you could sit there? Being a hostess and bartender before I knew she had to ask, but was put off the way she kept probing, yelling, instead of coming to our table and asking. We had no menus. We told her the hostess did and they messed up and forgot to put us in so they skipped us. She continued to complain to anyone who would listen that we were sitting in her. section. Pointing and speaking loudly. She spoke to the hostess and pointed again. I put my hands in the air and as if to say what? After about ten min of us sitting there the hostess came over and threw menus and silverware at our table from about 2 feet away from our table. Knives including. The short haired lady from the bar watched this. She then proceeded to come to our table to wait on us about 5 min later where she throws down cheddar biscuits and plates. I asked what the problem was. She said to me and I quote "you the one comin in here bein rude." I said she just threw menus and silverware at us. You have pointed and complained that we were here for ten min and you watched her. What is the problem? She said "I don't know what you're talking about I'm not dealing with this get Vincent." By this time I'm honestly in tears. I wanted to leave. I've never had things thrown at me in a restaurant for a mistake they made. The staff was not communicating. The hostess messed up and this lady did not want the table. And instead of dealing with it, she proceeded to make this our problem for just being there in her section. I am thankful to the manager Vincent who insisted we not leave. He did give us a free appetizer and he was very kind. Free appetizer or no. He made sure we had a seat and that I was okay. I debated on writing this review. I do believe that the hostess was frustrated. (And that is why I'm not going to include the photo I took) It does not condone throwing menus and silverware. However the short hair lady behind the bar (I continue to say short hair because there were two and I do not want to confuse her with the other lady who was calm and nice, I was to upset to get names.) I believe that she would act this way because she feels entitled. Anyone who would say what she said to me after what happened to us representing a restaurant she did not own and not try to figure out what was going on and diffuse the situation, is entitled. And will say whatever to whomever she pleases. There are assholes everywhere. I appreciate that in the service industry. I've worked in restaurants and nightclubs up until 7 years ago when I got sick. I've had to be nice to a lot of people I didn't want to. She was never going to be nice to us. We received our drinks and my salad was drowned in ranch dressing. We still had not received biscuits after 1 hour and twenty minutes of sitting. This visit was a huge disappointment. I truly enjoy eating at Red Lobster. I look forward to endless shrimp and the cheddar bay biscuits are my favorite. However, this visit was not good at all. I came to use my birthday coupon for a free dessert after work. The ladies at the bar were friendly, however, one was more focused on instructing the other to keep a specific server from behind the bar. I ordered my brownie overload which is supposed to be a warm dessert and received it rather wuickly however it was room cold; not even room temperature. I ordered it to go and the server put the lid on incorrectly so I almost dropped the ice cream trying to get the container open. I was just disappointed in this experience. I'll try again another day and see if things are better. The restaurant wasn't very crowded and there was a lot of parking; I parked right in front if the door. I tried to go to work the next day, and ended up leaving early with a fever of 100.2 and a diagnosis of "gastric infection." I missed 14 hours of work over this, a co-pay, and pharmacy charges. I'm a healthy middle-aged woman. I felt awful for days. And wore adult diapers for the first time in my life. I ordered a Sunset Passion Colada & received a regular Pina Colada...Where's my sunset??? I was then provided with a dish of watered-down strawberry sauce for me to pour on top of my drink. After placing our order for our entrees, the meals arrived well after an hour-wait in increments. So this visit I went during lunch time & there was no wait time to be seated which was great. We were immediately seated but it took about 15 minutes before a server came our way to even greet us. So we eventually found out she was the only server for the bar & a few more surrounding tables, so of course we were very understanding on that. I ordered a Tito's lemonade with the lunch time coconut shrimp with a side Caesar salad, & fries. So I've loved the coconut shrimp since I was a little girl but this visit they were a little greasy. My family took me out for a birthday celebration 10/20/23. There were 7 of us and they bunched us up at a small table. We then ordered drinks that took 30 more minutes to come. It took so long that my son ordered another watered down drink when they brought the 1st one. 3 of us ordered endless shrimp. We were seated surprisingly quick; they told us we'd probably have to wait for 25 minutes but it ended being more like 5 minutes. We both knew we were getting the "endless shrimp", so we ordered less than 5 minutes after sitting down. The server was friendly and attentive. The food did take a while to come out, maybe 20 minutes. But once it did, it was hot and delicious. I ordered about 4 rounds of shrimp and my son ordered 3. My friend ordered a Togo order . Called 50 mins ahead . She Waited ten mins for someone to acknowledge her. They told me to go sit at the bar. It was very dirty and had a musty smell . The bar person did not greet her or even make communication . My friend is transgender and felt like her service was because of it . Once the food came it took them 10 more mins to bag it . Arrived at 11ish for an early lunch. Greeted and seated right away. Although slightly burned on the bottom the bread was hot and fresh. Ordered the lunch special sailors platter with fried fish instead of broiled. Fish was fried perfectly, shrimp were small but also fried perfectly, scampi was also delicious...no over cooked or dried out seafood here! Waitress was polite and checked in often. I went to red lobster with family midday on Valentines day when before it became ultra crowded. We waited about 30 minutes and I wasn't too surprised to find a huge gaping empty section in the restaurant since Red Lobster is notorious for letting their patrons wait when they have numerous tables available. The food actually surprised me. I had a chicken and pasta dish (since I am not really a fan of seafood) and it was really good! Better than some of the fancy schmancy places I have eaten in Midtown. The chicken was seasoned and grilled for the correct amount of time so that it was still juicy. The pasta and sauce was very flavorful and there was A LOT of it. I had to take home half of it and ate it the next day. I had chocolate cake for desert and it was really good with the rich chocolate taste with moist cake and frosting. All in all it was a pleasant meal even though we did have to wait 10 more minutes to be served with our bread/salad after we sat down at our table. read more

Let's start out on a positive note, house salads were fresh and very good, as were the chedder biscuits. My diet coke was good and my friend's sweet tea was also good. Now for the entrees. Seaside Shrimp Trio was (how to put this nicely), disgusting. The shrimp alfredo was served with no alfredo sauce on it (we requested sauce, and it took 11 minutes for the waitress to return with a small bowl of the sauce); the fried shrimp were over cooked, with the coating a dark brown and very dry. I had the fish and chips, the fish also was dark brown and dry. I counted the French fries on the plate (which were also over done and dry) and there were 11. We are senior citizens, so we have to watch our eat-out money. Going to Red Lobster was a treat for us. The bill was $38.48 before taxes, I don't consider the guide of $$ to be accurate. We will never eat at Red Lobster again. Before leaving, I used the restroom. It was filthy (I know that probably the customers left it like that), overflowing trash cans, stalls with paper and wet seats. It was apparent they had not been checked by the staff in some time. Please take note that we were in this Red Lobster at 3:15 pm -- not rush hour in any way, and service was very slow and our waitress Melmesha disappeared on more than one instance. Took the parents for some after Xmas shopping in plaza and decided on Red Lobster for Dunch (late lunch early dinner on a Wednesday. I had the 4 course special for $15, which was a good deal. I chose the soy ginger salmon entree with the tasty sauce on the side, Caesar salad was fresh, lobster bisque was a bit salty, but did enjoy the morsel of lobster garnish. The cherry tomato side was tasteless and will never order that again. My mom had a pasta dish with a few BABY mussels, scallops and shrimp that had no season none whatsoever and she asked to order something else. Our waitress was very good and attentive and apologetic as she took it back and manager doctored it a little better, but she want order that again.
