If i could rate in the negatives i would. This was the worst experience i've had at red lobster in my entire LIFE. We waited ridiculous amounts of time for biscuits, then drinks, then appetizers, then the meal! All of the food came out cold. I ordered a daiquiri that had ice chunks the size of icebergs in it so i couldn't suck anything out of the straw. They forgot multiple things and of course we had to wait FOREVER for those things to be brought out. They were all out of any form of green vegetable. I mean it was just ridiculous. We spoke to the manager and he was apologetic but honestly the vibe he gave was that he could give two flying ***** about improvement at this establishment. You could not pay me to come back to this establishment, i really used to love eating here. read more

So the family and friends decided to have our daughters 15th birthday celebration meal at this red Lobster. We made a reservation for 5:45. We sat around for 40 minutes to be seated. The hostess gave me attitude when I asked her the purpose of a reservation if we still had not been seated after 35 minutes. We finally got our table and everything snowballed from there. Thirty minutes to get drinks! Fourth minutes to get two beers! Half of our food came out and other half came out almost as first half of our party finished eating. Thirty minutes to get refills of drinks and about twenty minutes to get our bill. Horrible service all around tonight!!! read more

Staying at a nearby hotel on a break for wife and I; we decided to visit one of our favorite restaurants Red Lobster. Arriving around 2pm, we were told our wait would be around 15 minutes for a party of two, after letting 2 parties of two in before us, we became suspicious but waited to see what the outcome would be. We were finally allowed in and waiter Kevin came over who was to be our waiter. Kevin was about 6'4", slow speaking and was difficult to understand due to his deep voice and extremely laid back attitude; so laid back, he did not bring utensils, plates for our appetizer or napkins. We it all slide and asked for what a waiter should have brought in the first place. We ordered a couple of drinks with a red lobster emblem on the glass that we could take with us when leaving. I noticed that one of the glasses was chipped on top of the glass brought ot to Kevin's attention. He said he would exchange it for a fresh one before we left. He brought the glasses back wrapped in a red lobster bag, we paid for the check and included a tip for Kevin even though his services were lack-luster to say the least. We did not think to check the glasses until we got back to the hotel and my wife checked them and realized we were given the same chipped glass which infuriated me. We were staying in town for a few days and decided to return with the chipped glass and ask for the manager. Monique, the assistant manager came over and we explained what the took place the day before and mentioned the waiters name. To our amazement her statement was as if she knew we was coming back. What???? We could have been passing through and headed back home outside of Delaware. Feeling that she was attempting to bamboozle us, we accepted the glass, made sure it was not chipped and left. My wife and I have been frequenting Red Lobster restaurants for over 20 years and this location provided the worst service, although the food was good, I will never visit this location again. read more

An embarrassment of a Red Lobster. Poor service, unclean table/utensils, and the food was awful. I ordered lobster tacos and the meat still had bits of shell and was dew fried beyond taste. My wife ordered a tasteless shrimp pasta that was cold. I had a server unknowingly spray table cleaner across the room and onto our food and clothes. Our server took 45 minutes to bring the check after we asked multiple times. Will not revisit. read more

I went to Red Lobster for the first time in years. I was craving some lobster. Went by myself and sat at the bar to order take out and have a drink while I waited. They have a really nice bar area. Service was exceptional, but drinks a little pricey. Got my duel lobster tails which came with a lobster shrimp linguini. Tails were good but who are they kidding with the lobster shrimp linguini? It does have shrimp but there is no lobster in it. It's a fish and shrimp linguini. That was disappointing that Red Lobster would be so deceptive. read more

In Dover to participate in an autocross event at the speedway. We came here for a late dinner (8pmish) and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was Jaime who was great. Unfortunately, I had to wait for my diet coke, while my husband was served his drink immediately, never had that happen before...husband's entree arrived (the ultimate feast) yet again, mine was incomplete missing one side. I ordered the salmon (shellfish allergy) and it cost $17.49 for a pretty small piece, but will say it was pretty good but I felt quite overpriced. A decent experience overall, but serving incomplete meals (and a fountain drink) later than who you are dining with was disappointing, thus the 3 stars. read more

I remembered why I don't come to this red lobster often. I brought my family here for my dads birthday tonight. We knew the service would be slow when it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. It was a good hour and 15 before we got any main dishes which were actually the side salads, and another 20 minutes for our main dishes and everyone had issues. My dads shrimp was cold, my moms shrimp kabob was cold, my husband could tell his fries were sitting on the plate for a while so they weren't fresh. My husbands chicken breast was hot though. My chicken southwestern tacos were a good flavor but also not as fresh as you'd expect, I can tell they were sitting on the plate a while. My sister didn't get her food because 30 minutes after putting in her order, the waitress said they had JUST ran out of what she wanted. So all she asked for was a salad since she didn't want to pass more time than what already was going by. When we told the waitress, Brittany, about my parents shrimp she was very accommodating and put in new orders of shrimp and fries for us. We weren't charged for that stuff but nothing was deducted from our bill. By the time we got the new orders, we really had to go because my son was waaaay over tired so we immediately asked for boxes. We actually were able to observe the restaurant in general and noticed a lot of similar situations at other tables. I'm not sure where the disconnect was tonight, but it wasn't a great birthday dinner. I also noticed the area in which they collect dishes and throw trash away and such for our area and it was a total wreck. Overall we spent 2 hours for mediocre service and food. read more

We went to Red Lobster yesterday with a group of aprox 50 (called the day before to reserve the back room) after a funeral. Our reservation was for 4 but we arrived shortly after 3 due to the funeral ending shorter than expected. The back room was empty but they refused to let us use the space until a few minutes after 4, so yes, 50 people crowded in their lobby for over an hour, many are very elderly people. During the wait we ordered mozzarella sticks for the kids, they took over 30 minutes. Despite them having over 24hrs notice they were very disorganized. Service was extremely slow, some servers were nice and some seemed visibly annoyed. It was 5:30 before people got and ate their salads. The children were the absolute last table served dinner, well after 6:30 and after many adults were already done. No idea what happened here but Red Lobster dropped the ball BIG TIME. I have been to the Dover location 3 time. Each visit was terrible. Our last visit (tonight) we were sat immediately. We waited about 10 mins for our server to greet us & inform us that she was "just coming on" for the night. We ordered our drinks & appetizer. Our appetizer came shortly after our drinks, no problem so far. We ordered our food. Waited for our salads. And waited, waited & waited so more. 40 mins (yes I know what time we sat down) later our salads show up. As I was eating my I noticed red dressing ( I ordered ranch. Waited to tell our server, but she was nowhere to be found. I finally went up to the hostess desk to ask for the manager. He came to our table & are food had finally arrived 20 mins after our salads. I explained to him how long we had waited. The manager noticed our food didn't look "right " & was missing the drawn butter. He stated that he would get us some. He walks off to get our butter. 10 mins later our server brings it by & drops it off at the table without a word. All said & done, it was completely disgusting. The manager never came back. No one seemed to think any of this was a problem. After we paid our bill, we left. We walked right by the manager & he said nothing to us. Nothing!!!! I will not be going back to that location. Tasty food! Great variety! Wait staff was prompt and accommodating. Peaceful atmosphere.

I went on a date with my boyfriend at the red lobster i never went to before. We got in around 9:10, since it was going to close soon it wasnt busy but we did have to wait 15 mins to get a table. I was a little lost because it was just the two of us and no one was really there. More people came in after us, but anyways. Our waitress, Virginia was very pleasant and was not overbearing which is a godsend if you ask me. We started with the wings which could have been good, but they made that weird mistake that parts of the wings were really hard, but we still ate them. Next my caesar salad came and it was pretty good but i really don't like the white part of the romaine. It just doesn't taste good, maybe its just a weird preference of mine. We split the lobster lovers dream and a 1/2 lb of crab legs. The lobster tails were very good, i liked the smaller one a little better though. The pasta that came with it is just like the crab alfredo pasta. It was tasty but nothing new. He chose the fries for a side and they were okay i guess. I would have need a lot of honey mustard sauce to finish those. We were both pissed about the crab legs. 6 legs for 17 bucks is not okay with me. Tasty, yes, but i won't make that choice again. We would have to get another appetizer to go with the lobster fest plate. Red lobster isn't my favorite place, but i do enjoy the lobster. read more
