I chose to go with the Bairdi crab w/ the new mikes hot honey sauce, crispy potatoes and asparagus. I wasn't the biggest fan of the asparagus but everything else was great! It was just enough food and I didn't have to break the bank. Now that's my kind of outing! S/o to my amazing host autumn. I was told this location may be under new management (though I'm not sure if that's actually true), so I wanted to give an honest review of our recent visit. The restaurant itself has that classic Red Lobster feel--very nostalgic and comfortable. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and we were seated promptly, which was a great start. Unfortunately, things became frustrating after we placed our order. About 30 minutes later, we were informed that they were out of both filet mignon and rice, which meant our Jambalaya order needed to be changed and our Surf & Turf had to be modified as well. It was disappointing that it took that long for the kitchen to communicate those shortages. We then waited another 20 minutes before being told they could actually make the Jambalaya after all if we still wanted it. By that point, we had already been waiting nearly an hour for our food and just wanted to eat. When the food finally arrived, most of it was fine. However, my steak was very tough and difficult to chew, which was disappointing, especially after the extended wait. The rest of the meal was perfectly acceptable. Our server, Matthew, was very kind, professional, and apologetic throughout the entire situation. He handled everything as well as he could and was not the issue. From what we observed, there seemed to be a disconnect between management, the kitchen, and the serving staff. We could hear management walking around discussing that there was no rice available, yet the information wasn't being communicated consistently to guests in a timely manner. I understand that restaurants run out of items, and that happens. The bigger issue was the lack of communication and the amount of time it took for accurate information to reach our table. Seafood focused restaurant with a few chicken and beef options on the menu as well. We came in to try the unlimited shrimp promotion. With this option you can choose 3 shrimp varieties at a time. And once you finish, you can order more. The portions are fairly small which is expected but the biggest challenge was the wait time between rounds. Since you can only order 3 shrimp varieties at a time, the slow pace made for a longer dining experience. After the second round, we decided we were done waiting for additional orders. We also tried the shrimp your way with 2 shrimp selections. As for the food, it wasn't quite my taste. The coleslaw in particular had an unusual smell like one of the ingredients may have gone bad, so I didn't feel comfortable eating much of it. I also tried their guava chilli margarita which was a little too sweet for my preference. The sever was friendly and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Food was delicious with all seafood dishes being cooked perfectly. Highlight of the dinner was definitely the Brussels sprouts recommended by Autumn. We hit up this location for my dad's birthday and we were a fairly large party, so we were grateful they could accommodate us! Upon arrival, our table was ready and we got drinks right away. The waitress was attentive and gave us time to figure out our orders. With 11 people, it's a lot of food to sort! The cheddar bay biscuits were amazing and we didn't notice an overly long time to get our food because of the delicious little appetizers. The quality wasn't great and the shrimp had a weird flavor. our bill was about the same as it would have been if we went to a much nicer restaurant I paid $80 for one seafood boil and a drink for each of us. The restaurant and my booth were clean and comfortable. Easy parking and ramp to walk in and out. When my meal arrived, the shrimp scampi lunch special was so delicious and filling. The shrimp was full of flavor and the baked potato was cooked perfectly and added the right amount of butter. My key lime pie for dessert was a reward (sign up- it's easy and free!). When it was time to go, I ordered some extra food for later including the sesame soy salmon bowl (includes flavorful brussel sprouts, light greens, rice, and good portion of salmon), which I love and the hostess recommended as well. Jay R packed some freshly baked biscuits to go and I just ate one when I got home and still tasted warm and yummy. Jay R made sure my to go food and cherry Pepsi were perfectly packed. We had a rare night we were both free so we had date night! Still lovely decor. Hostess greeted us and sat us after asking preference of table or booth. We prefer booth as even for one next to the window. Our server Cecilia she was awesome. Have us suggestions and very friendly. I had the shrimp and sauce and clam chowder. Mister had the shrimp platter with Hush Puppies, shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp. Also the bacon wrapped scallops and seafood stuffed mushrooms for apps. All very delicious. Nothing was too fishy at all. We use the rewards program so we took how some delicious strawberry cheesecake for dessert. The manager Lisa checked in on us. We let her know we were pleased. Food was delicious the lobster Monday special was a hit! The lobster tail was huge and the shrimp were delicious. My one and ONLY complaint was that the wine glasses were not polished I even sent one glass back as it had food stuck to the outside of the glass. Might be a dishwasher issue, but definitely make sure your bar staff cleans the glassware before it's served to the tables. Other than that. Everything was perfect. Stopped in tonight as we had gift cards and thought we'd better use them before they go out of business, as that's what's occurring with Red Lobster. Saturday night at 6pm and Red Lobster is a ghost town, so many empty tables, which is concerning as a guest for certain. The menu has far too many options, however I settled on the ultimate feast. The waitress delivered warm cheddar biscuits which are always a hit. These were delicious as always. My wife had a salad which was fresh and she said it was crisp and delicious. She said the veggies were also fresh. The ultimate feast choice was Lovster tail, sirloin, shrimp scampi and shrimp linguini. And orzo rice and mashed potatoes for the sides. The entrees took quite a while to come out. Far too long in my opinion, especially since there was literally nobody in the restaurant. When the entrees did arrive, everything looked great. The lobster tails were delicious however the Maine tail was a bit too salty. The sirloin was more mediu well than medium but still tasted good. The shrimp scampi has changed apparently from the old days, I was not a fan. Overall I think the service was great, however the food was just good. Not great, but good. I will say I'm happy I no longer have to worry about gift cards going to waste. Would I return to the Red Lobster? Honestly, probably not. I only gave 2 stars because of decent service from Chelsey. We came here on Thursday for lunch. My wife ordered $52 plate. It came with a small lobster tail , half of the snow crab , 12 small shrimps , some potatoes and corns. I got a bowl of clam chowder and 8 pieces of fried shrimps for $26.... Total bill came to just a little over $90. No wonder why nobody eating at Red Lobster any more. Welp. We hadn't been to Red Lobster in a very long time but wanted to try the seafood boil. On the positive side, our server was very pleasant and took good care of us. The seafood boil was a huge disappointment. The crab legs were a very small portion and were super scrawny. They had almost had no meat on them. And the old bay garlic sauce was so overly salty - it overpowered everything else. "Maine" lobster tail miniature. Definitely not worth 50 bucks for the Mariners Boil. And finally - and this is a pet peeve of mine. A large table next to us left about 10 minutes after we were seated. That empty table sat there with dirty dishes for the entire next hour we were eating. I hate looking at other people's dirty dishes while I am trying to eat. A family member wanted a full lobster dinner and wanted to come here (believe it or not they are even older than me). It was 10 minutes to happy hour time and the flatbread was on the happy hour menu so Q suggested we wait 10 minutes to put in our order so we got the discount... very cool. For my main I went with the lobster mac & cheese, it was a smaller serving but very filling. The full lobster dinner came out, and our guest was completely satisfied with the lobster bib and all. At the end, one of us had our drink leftover and asked for a to go cup and our waiter brought all of us to go cups with our drinks we had with lunch, nonalcoholic of course...nice touch. I am forced to give a star but they deserve ZERO. Worst service ever! Not a fan of their food but my husband likes it so we came here. After close to one hour and a half, NO FOOD brought to us. It took close to 30 minutes for appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and clam chowder for my husband). When we'd finally had it, I asked for the check for what we'd received (drinks and appetizers) and to cancel the rest of our order. Magically, our food comes right out. I asked for boxes although the food looked awful. While my husband is paying at the bar (and still tipping the bartender/waitress who came to our table twice the whole night) the manager comes out to say that I'm being aggressive to her waitress. Apparently, asking for boxes and stating that the service was unacceptable hurt her little feels. Maybe she can stand around and continue to chat and laugh with the other six employees like they did the whole night. Brought the food home and my dog walked away from the chicken breast.
