One of my grandmother's favorite restaurants, so when my family is in town to visit for Mother's Day, grandma gets what grandma wants. This location is always packed on holidays, but its easy to juat call in a day ahead to reserve a time. My family gets seated pretty quickly. Staff is very accommodating. The ambiance isnt quiet, but not too loud that you cant hear anything your party is saying. Food is good as well. We haven't been to an outback since before Covid. They closed the location closest to our home. A couple days ago we decided to give it a try again. Plenty of parking but we had to park far away which was not good for handicap. We were greeted immediately and promptly seated. The restaurant is big and the lighting was nice. Our server came right away. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I believe his name was Justin. Our drinks were brought immediately. Justin gave us time to look at the menu. Now, I know the price of everything has gone up but dang! Even though money is no issue we're not wasteful people and this isn't a gourmet steak house. We ordered an appetizer and our meals. Justin had the timing perfect! My steak was a small sirloin and it was done as requested but it was really chewy. My son said his steak was really good. It might have been a NY strip. Husband said his steak was okay. The shrimp was really small. Everything tasted good and was seasoned well. Justin kept the drinks filled and checked on us appropriately. I always order ahead for car pick up and get confused when I get there. There's nothing on the app to press that button to let them know you're here so I ended up just calling the restaurant to tell them I'm parked outside. My favorite dessert from them is the triple layer carrot cake, which has a lot of great fillings and nuts without it being too sweet with the cream cheese frosting. No matter what you order you always get a slice of brown molasses sweet bread which I think is a nice touch that makes them stand out. read more

I enjoy ordering through Door Dash and having it delivered to my home. It's a convenient location near Green Valley and food always arrives on time or early! The workers are great. But the menu was very confusing to my 89 yr old mother. She wanted the $14.99 that comes with cheesecake. She gets emails that say that. We came here from San Diego after a good 20 years of not going to Outback, and the staff did not disappoint. From the hostesses greeting us to our food runner and server, every interaction was excellent. Max killed it. He hit every step of service and then some. As a former restaurateur, I have high standards, and they met every one of them. The food was delicious, and the ambiance and atmosphere were on point. We will absolutely be back. So I'm starting to get back on track after dealing with a family thing the last few weeks and what a perfect time with Christmas just around the corner. While Christmas shopping took a break for lunch at Outback. It was my first time at this Outback and even though somethings were different the meal and service were both very good. My husband and I came to celebrate our birthdays together. When we first walked in they said it would be a few minutes for a table, but was then seated us right away. The waiter came over immediately and took our drink order his name is Nate. Nate is an amazing waiter he gives you his full attention when acknowledging you! When they brought our plates out I was a little disappointed I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out burnt on top I cut it open and it was closer to a medium well. Nate was making his rounds and I told him hey I ordered it medium rare and this is burnt he took one look at it and said oh yeah that's burnt let me grab a plate to take the steak and we will get another one out for you. When Nate came back Jerry was following him. Jerry is the manager and he took one look at the steak and said oh no that's not medium rare! So Jerry and Nate went back into the kitchen so I started eating everything else. When the steak was done Jerry brought it to the table himself!!! Not only did Jerry bring me my steak personally he added another sweet potato on the plate in case mine went cold. Very apologetic, very sincere!! After over 15 years, we decided to give Outback a try again since they have their Aussie deal we saw on FB. We got seated right away. It was not busy at all. Looked for the Aussie deal and couldn't find on the menu, we had to ask for it. There were only 2 options that starts at $14.99 and it goes up from there. Honestly, it was a little pricey for the options provided. We decided to try the 2 cheaper options which was the bloomin' burger and grilled shrimp. Both were eh. My husband ordered a medium burger and it came out medium rare. He ended up eating it but gave me the more pink parts. We normally don't like sending food back. The manager came around the tables. She asked how the food was. We told her it just so, so and mentioned my husband's burger. She asked if there was anything she could do. She offered to remake it but we didn't want to wait any more. Any good manager would have just either comped the burger or offer a discount without being asked. My son ordered the bloomin' chicken which was almost $27. It was not worth it. Previously review states that we received ribs that were inedible and had to feed them to the dogs. The family wanted to try again but I was not thrilled. I ordered the NY Strip which was okay but not great. However my son ordered a filet medium. The dogs were happy again and definitely that was our last attempt. It was absolutely inedible. I stopped by the outback steakhouse in Henderson, Nevada on 8 March 2026. I wanted to go to the one on Las Vegas Blvd. But my friend and his wife chose this place. Starting off, the location is good. Parking was ample. Greeted at the door literally while they're holding the door open for you. Was a great welcome. I was seated at the table with my two hosts that were waiting for me. I will say that we were promptly greeted by a very nice server. Very pleasant. Very positive. He brought over our cocktails and took our appetizer and main meal orders at the same time. Within a very reasonable 15 minutes or just barely less than that our plates arrived. I am only going to speak on my plate that I ordered. I had ordered the 20 ounce bone in ribeye. My sides included double mashed potato. I wanted the blooming onion as my appetizer. As you could see in the photo provided below, there was no pride taken in presentation. A slab of meat and two barely warm snowballs of mashed potatoes. Upon further investigation of my steak, I realized that it possibly, and this was (allegedly), premade and microwaved for convenience of the kitchen. Again, I am not accusing the kitchen of doing this. The steak had a little bit of flavor as I requested it to be medium rare. But look how dry it is! When was this made? That's a very important question. I had options. I could've sent it back, but I kept it and I tried it. It was horrible. As a reminder, Outback steakhouse is not a star rated restaurant or is it considered special. I don't over expect anything in some of the chain restaurants I go to. Getting back to that "tough" steak! I could barely cut it with a serrated knife. Trying to cut the meat, was literally disturbing the entire table with the other party sitting at it. Once I was able to successfully cut an edible sized piece, I tried to chew on it, and after a very long time, I was able to ingest it. Again, I still have my chance to send it back. The meat was 100% gristle. 100% questionable on how they prepared it. The mashed potatoes were tasteless balls just plopped down on a plate that already looked dirty. I added salt and pepper, but that of course did not help with the temperature of the poorly served food. The mashed potatoes were not cold, but they were not warm. This is not Outback steakhouse's first rodeo. I don't know if they were having a bad day in the kitchen or this is their standard now. Of course I will get the pre-generated response telling them how sorry my experience was and that they didn't adhere to their normal standards that they have! But that's not gonna help. I am willing to try the other outback steakhouse located close to me on Las Vegas Blvd. and give them a try. But I guarantee you that I will never step foot into the Outback steakhouse in Henderson Nevada on Stephanie Avenue. I need to reiterate that the service was very good. Our server was fantastic! Very positive and very happy. I tipped a man accordingly by virtue of his service. He doesn't deserve to get dinged on the crappy food that they put out. One of the parties at the table actually joked with me why I tipped him so high. The man's got a family. The man gave me outstanding service. We were seated pretty quickly and our waitress was a sweetheart (I think her name was Mystic or something like that) our drinks were brought out in a timely manner and we were a bit annoyed at one of the workers there that was talking so loud and being obnoxious, I think he/she? was training someone and I asked the waitress to move but, she told them to move in which they did...thank goodness (I mean when you can hear their whole conversation and can't enjoy the company in from of you there's a problem there right) Our bloomin onion was brought out quickly and it seemed a lot smaller than the couple times before when I've eaten here previously but, it was delicious & my salad was out shortly after that and was fresh except for the rotten tomato at the bottom(yuck) I picked it out and was able to eat the rest of my salad. Now, for as much as a person pays to go out to eat these days you would think that the steaks (which Outback is famous for) would be a good cut of meat right? Boy oh boy were we disappointed...so much fat and grizzle and for a $30 and $35 steak? That's just ridiculous! This was one of the worst experiences I've had at this location. Looking at the receipt I see the issue started with our server. Next issue is the management at this location. We looked at my friends plate and there were mashed potatoes not a baked potato as requested. We told the guy who brought the food out and he said he would get a baked potato. A few minutes later our waiter came back and asked if everything was ok and we said no. We told him our appetizers just came out followed by the food. We also told him about the soup Verus the salad and no baked potato. He asked what my friend wanted on the potato which we told him for the second time. He finally came back with the potato. Ask for my burger, looked nothing like the picture on the menu, looked like a frozen burger cooked and had little to no taste. I won't be going back there for a burger. The table behind us had the same issues getting things first which should have been second, no dressing on their salad and other issues.
