My husband got me hooked on Red Lobster several years ago when I didn't believe this franchise restaurant was going to be as good as the "fancy" places. But he proved me wrong! Ever since my first time, most of the "fancy" and pricey lobster places that we went to afterwards were disappointing in comparison to Red Lobster... both in terms of price and taste. A lot of people don't believe that franchise restaurants can top off the more expensive stand alone restaurants when it comes to expensive dishes with lobster (myself included). And although this can be true in some cases... it is not true with Red Lobster. I highly recommend that you sign up for their rewards membership. We've gotten lots of free appetizers and desserts over the years. And also check out their Endless Shrimp special which is only $20! It also comes with unlimited cheesy biscuits and a side of your choice. The only thing that does make me a lil sad is how inflated the lobster tails became post-pandemic. It used to be around $12 and now, it is about $21. But this is a common theme throughout society that we all have to deal with at this moment in time. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Red Lobster the day after Valentines Day. It was our first Valentines as a newly married couple. My husband ordered the special steak and lobster; I ordered the grilled trout with two sides: coleslaw and mashed potatoes. For the beverages, we ordered Diet Pepsi and iced tea. We didn't have room for dessert. Our meals arrived soon after the warm cheddar biscuits were served. Our entrees were fresh, hot and delicious. The trout was seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the coleslaw tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak and lobster with drawn butter. Christian was AWESOME! He was very attentive and provided perfect service and even went the extra mile. My sister and I went to Red Lobster for the first time to try the seafood boil. Definitely loved mixing the two sauces, might ask for extra cajun for a little more heat next time. There was a lot of food and definitely enough to split. The oyster bay sauvignon blanc we orders was great. I went here after I left a painting class to grab something to eat on my birthday. It was pretty empty so I asked for a seat best the tv and on the back so I could be alone. We were here 7/25/25 at 5:30 pm. This has been the worst restaurant experience I have had in a very long time. First of all, it took over 15 minutes to receive our drinks. In addition it took 15 minutes before anyone ever came to take our drink orders. I ordered the Ultimate Feast which is $50. I had a pound of crab legs and it is crab Fest. They did not have any crab crackers so I was expected to eat them without being able to crack them. I was told they couldn't find any. My food was cold. We went to Red Lobster with long-time dear friends. It was my first time eating at Red Lobster. We were seated, then created by our waiter. His name was Dovin. He was courteous, efficient, patient, and had lots of fun. We all had the Monday Special - Ultimate Endless Shrimp. WOW! There is so much shrimp cooked in so many ways. My favorite was the skewered shrimp, and Walt's came in a close second.. my wife said the shrimp linguini was the best. When we were finished, we all complained about the same thing. It has been like 20 years since I have stepped into a Red Lobster. I didn't remember why but I recalled liking the garlic cheese biscuits. My daughter insisted on going after seeing them on TV. I was surprised to find they still make the biscuits. They were just as good as I remembered. The other surprise I was the expensive prices, slow service and poor quality. That's why I stopped coming here! The fish and chips portion was small. One little piece of fish. It was laughable. The clam chowder was more like cream of potato soup. Red Lobster is still a popular place apparently. My SO wanted to really go and despite the rough area we went. It's so dim in there, but the maritime decor is still charming. The service is a four because our server was running around by herself. She didn't write anything down so she just memorized our orders. Kudos to her. The menu was a mish mish of value deals and lunch specials with different prices for practically the same combos. It was actually confusing. The food itself is just ok. Very much covered in butter sauce and the shrimps were so small for the price. I think they could use an upgrade in the ventilation system or a deep clean of the carpet because at times it smelled damp or musty. The staff is trying to work with what they are given, but as a chain it's sad to see corporate is not taking care of each store like they used to. The entire ordeal to get 12 cheddar bay biscuits was absolutely abhorrent. Not only did it take an extra 30 minutes from my scheduled pick up time, but the staff was in shambles. Apparently a cook cut off his finger, which explains the wait time for the biscuits, however there was no staff on hand to help me or the many other people waiting in line for their online orders. Maybe if someone had come out to explain the delay, it wouldn't have been so frustrating, but being left for 30 minutes to watch lobsters fight in their tank just for 12 biscuits was ridiculous. Came here to celebrate with friends. There were only 3 waitstaff and it wasn't crowded. Yet, our waitress disappeared a lot. So much so that we asked another waiter for water. The appetizers were great...hot and fresh. Our main entrees...not so much. My boyfriend and I had Lobster Lovers Dream. Our baked potatoes were STONE COLD. The lobsters were OVER cooked. The pasta had been sitting awhile under the lights and some of the shrimp/lobster sauce was COLD. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but it could have been better. Returned for lunch today. It was a bit breezy, so I expected to see some trash & debris in the landscaping. However, they've made an obvious effort to clean up their area. The landscaping in front & to the side was much better than our last visit. It was nice seeing the flag fluttering overhead. Of course the meal was wonderful & kudos to Eva, our waitress. She did an amazing job. Although not repaired, the cabinet in the men's room has been held in place, making it easier to wash your hands after a great meal. Visited on a Sunday afternoon for dinner with my family to celebrate an occasion. There's plenty of parking to side of restaurant. We had a party of 4 and were seated and greeted promptly. It wasn't super busy, but there were other people dining. Our waiter was friendly and quickly took our orders. First got our drinks and then appetizers, soup, and salads. The biscuits are the best! I had the Seafarer's Feast and the seafood tasted great and it came out hot. Shortly after food came and we enjoyed meal, we were all full no room for dessert. I have to give our server extra credit, he came to check on us multiple times refilled our drinks, and checked our needs. He gave us boxes as we had food leftover to go. We went to Red Lobster in Henderson for the Crab Fest. Server upsold me to the Bairdi crab. Never heard of it, but supposedly more meat. Came out with 3 legs (no claws) that's over $12.00/leg. Sent that back. I was expecting something resembling the picture on the menu. NOT!!! Now I remember why I haven't been to Red Lobster in years. They replaced with a so called pound of Snow Crab.. Again nothing resembling the picture on the menu or the ad. I know from experience that 1 lb should be 2 full clusters, but these were so small that the claws fit entirely into the cracker without touching. I would expect this from a Chinese buffet, but not Red Lobster. Red Lobster should be embarrassed to serve this quality of seafood. Probably the most disappointing meals I had in many, many years. This was a mixed lot of a visit. My daughter chose to come here for her birthday, so we made a family trip of it. Our server Eva was not the quickest getting to our table, so we had all made up our minds before she finally arrived. We asked a couple questions, she confirmed our order and she was off. Our food came out in multiple waves. The first thing to arrive was the shrimp that was supposed to be on top of my wife's salad. Not only was it in the wrong place, it was made incorrectly. My daughter was missing the side of mashed potatoes she ordered and I was missing the crab cracker for my Ultimate Feast. It took so long for our server to get back around to check on us, my crab was already cold. The warm food I ate was pretty good. When the second batch of my wife's shrimp came it was made correctly, but the rest of us had finished our meals by then. The manager did try to make it right for us and didn't make us pay for the potatoes that never came or the shrimp that was made wrong, so I do appreciate that.
