Coming back from the Long Beach Peninsula, we decided to eat at Red Lobster. The service was fast, the drinks were made to perfection, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. We highly recommend this stop to anyone passing through Longview, WA. We had Fish and Chips, Shrimp Linguine with a side of Dungeness Crab, (2) Butterfly Shimp Plates. Visited family and had lunch here. I had the fish and chips and a garden salad with a Coke. I loved the honey mustard dressing and the fish! I would have liked that my fries not be salted. WA State restaurants have a habit of salting food before the customer can make that choice on thier own. In town on business. Ordered online for pick-up. Had 1/2 order of crab Alfredo and a salad. The order was actually ready upon arrival and they remembered to include the utensils and extra napkins I requested. Food was tasty and still warm when I arrived back at my hotel 2 miles away. They also included 2 cheddar bay biscuits as well. This would have been a 5 star review, but I saw the server drop the bag with my salad in it on the floor in front of me. Management here is the worst I've ever experienced. Driving from Portland to Seattle... called to see what time they closed... was told 9:00pm. Got here at 9:01 by my clock... knocked on the locked door. Called and was told we couldn't eat... also was told if we had been here at 8:58 we would be eating ... instead we were standing out in the cold arguing with some man on the phone. Way to make a customer..... table for 5 lost... we will no longer make this our stop on our trips from Portland to Seattle which we do several times a year... guess our new tradition will start this year with Jack in the Box or Taco Bell. There was hardly any business when we went. However the server Maria took ages to take our order. I observed her inputting it slowly into the computer. After we received our 70 dollars worth of food and drinks she never came back to ask us how things were. My wife had wanted a lemon slice for her seafood and some steak sauce. When I made eye contact with the server she seemed to slink away and hide. It was all very weird. I've given this review 2 stars though because the little young hostess was cleaning the floors quickly, smiling at us, bussing tables and had a strong positive work ethic. read more

Terrible service, poor-quality food and too noisy. Our waitress was pretty awful - she wasn't friendly, she was terribly slow, and she was argumentative. After waiting 30 minutes for our three entrees to arrive, the waitress said that she'd bring out our other order of shrimp in a moment, but she didn't come back for 20 minutes and had forgotten about telling us that, apparently, they don't offer the 4 servings of shrimp, just 3. We let her know that it was on the menu, but she argued with us and said that it wasn't. We asked her to please look again. She came back 5 min later and told us we were right and that she'd have that ready for us. By this time, though, we were done eating, and had to wait another 15 min to get the rest of our entree served. And we still paid full-price instead of the deal listed in they're menu! What kind of service is that!?! She also never asked us if we needed anything, or how we liked our food or ever gave me more water or offered to give us more water. As for the food, I spent an extra $4 in addition to my $18 entree for a side of mashed potatoes, and they tasted like instant mashed potatoes! Soooo gross! I would expect better quality food for a restaurant that charges what they do. I wasn't impressed with the rest of my meal either. Needless to say, I don't ever plan on coming back. I do have to say we've been to many red lobsters over the years. But this one by far has them all beat. We came here for anniversaries another special events and always had great great customer service. The food is always cooked well and it's like a family atmosphere. i'm a small business owner in town I know how hard it is to please people. I give one star for good friendly service. The food, however, bad. The chowder was not fresh made, had a metallic flavor, as though from a can. I ordered a glass of chardonnay, a brand I know well, and the wine I was served was NOT what I asked for, but some cheap tasting stuff. This review is not so much about the food but about our waitress Cheryl. We came last night and was disappointed in our service. Although the good was tasty, we thought we had done something to offend our waitress. We were on our way to Albany OR, and stopped for a late dinner. We still had a long drive ahead of us. After our salads, we waited an hour for our main entree. Cheryl hardly came to check on us during that time. The other waitress next to our table was bustling and friendly to our table and the tables around us, but we never saw Cheryl. We even saw people seated around us who arrived later than us, finish their meals before us and leave. Really disappointed. read more

I really like this place, this was my first time going to a Red Lobster, since we don't have one in BC (booo!). The complementary biscuits are really good, but at 150 calories a piece they can fill you up pretty fast, so take it easy on them. The service here was great, the waitress was really nice and seemed to enjoy her job.The food was delicious, but the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 is because of the price. I love Red Lobster because of the variety of good seafood. I eat dinner at the Red Lobster in Medford, Oregon about 3 times a month. The service is usually excellent. The On vacation, I stopped with my family for dinner at the Red Lobster in Kelso, Washington. The service was terrible - long wait for the Entrees. It was a Monday night, September 17th, kids were back in school - no reason that this restaurant should be unable to handle the patrons. We didn't order appetizers or anything unusual. The salads came slowly but the basic entrees took forever - even after I commented to the waitress. The waitress blamed the kitchen. Was here in late July and had the 3 course meal special for $15 which actually is a great deal. I got a garden salad, salmon filet with rice pilaf & veggies, and a piece of chocolate cake. Meals came out at three times and were lukewarm, mussels too cold to eat and came back dried out and only about half were open. Service was excellent. My wife had the all you can eat shrimp and was happy. I had the more expensive Admiral's plate and it was the worst seafood dinner I have ever had. Shame on me for not sending it back. It was like they cooked the shrimp and scallops the night before and microwaved the food crust was soft and mushy. The clam strips were small balls of flower with 4 strips that had no taste. The strips were so bad the waiter brought me another order of them. Stopped at this place for lunch with my mom. The food was about what you'd expect from a chain restaurant of this type: some good items and some poorer ones. The scallops and crispy fish that my mom had were near flavorless, as was the calamari (though the fried broccoli that came with it was interesting). However, the grilled tilapia and roasted vegetables that I had were fairly good, and the cheddar biscuits were excellent. I went to this establishment several weeks ago. I made my review the same day. I also called Red Lobster and spoke to the owner who promised a coupon as incentive to go back. (I didn't call or write a negative review to get something "free", but it was kind of her to do it) As the weeks went by and I didn't receive the coupons I just assumed it was another lie by someone who wanted me to go away and not trouble them. However I did receive them on the 22nd of Jan. The date on my experience is wrong. It was not January 19th, it was weeks before. So my resolution was not mere days, but weeks.
