I moved into Kentucky 6 years ago, I grew up with Red Lobster. When I saw red lobster I wanted to visit. But to me it didn't look like the Red Lobster I knew in Chicago. No red roof . I finally decided to visit and I was pleasantly surprised! Being Good Friday I wanted fish for lunch, we thought of Long John silvers , Captain D'S . Nothing I really wanted! When we ordered from Red Lobster the food was so good the hush puppies were outstanding, the biscuits very fluffy and the fish was exquisite! If I had to describe what was bad , I didn't like their Cole slaw! I would definitely recommend Red Lobster for fish and Chips dinner! They treat you with respect I had Sundie P as my server she was funny at times and a pleasure to talk to , very pleasant. By the way their Fries were very tasty ! I give it 4 . 5 read more

The food was delicious,the Mariner's Boil included crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp, corn and red potatoes. I asked for the Garlic flavor, and you better like garlic if you get this option. The garlic flavor is strong, and I liked it. This is not a meal for date night. This meal is a lot of work and you're going to get it all over your hands. I travel for a living and I eat at red lobsters quite frequently, the Paducah red lobster has to be the worst manage restaurant in the chain. The last two times I've got a curb side pick up , I've said in my van 15 to 20 minutes past the time it was scheduled to be out. I eventually have to go in and ask for my food and when I asked the manager, why my order is on the bar counter for 20 minutes and getting cold, Dale(the manager) just has this dumb look in his face and says oh sorry we forgot. This should be the last time that I visit this restaurant, there are plenty within a mile of this red lobster to choose from read more

We just left. We sat at a dirty bar for ten minutes. The two ladies did not acknowledge us. One was moving like pond water, slow as molasses. We left and on the way out, asked to speak with the manager. Waited five minutes and it was one of the bartenders. Made my complaint, she said she didn't see us. Sorry a$$ excuse. While waiting I noticed three tables that hadn't been cleaned, yet there were a dozen people waiting. I guess this is to be expected from a long worn out chain that once used to be decent. The service was absolutely terrible. I was dining with two friends, one of which who ordered a lemonade and asked for a to-go up which was never received. The friend had not planned on getting any food initially. After she waited for ten minutes with no sight of our waitress she was forced to leave to make it home in time. After another fifteen minutes, my friend and I had still not been visited by our waitress even though she was in the room next door. Eventually we had plans to leave and only pay for drinks so we had to ask for our bill from another waitress, she was kind and went to find our waitress. Once our waitress arrived she showed up with our food yet we had no silverware and one forgotten side dish. We had to ask yet again another waitress for silverware. After five minutes both of our drinks were empty and remained that way the rest of the night. We never received a refill of biscuits and she was hardly kind. She appeared at our table a total of four times within an hour. Once to take our drink order, once to take our real order, once to bring the order after we had to call upon another waitress for help, and finally for the check which still included a side of broccoli in which we never received. I was reading the previous reviews from 1+years ago and I'm 99.9999999% sure they didn't eat at THIS Res Lobster. No, it was, because those old reviews don't lie--it was shaky. But today is a completely different story. They're asking you to wait in your car if there is a wait, but there wasn't for a party of 3 on an early Sunday afternoon. All benches have nice little signs that let you know they're unavailable because of Covid, all the servers and kitchen staff were wearing masks. Nice!! Our service was spot-on, from apps to those favorite cheddar bay biscuits we all love, to my entree pictured below. I can remember a time when the service, cleanliness, and food was sketchy, but they have seriously improved!! I can tell the quality of the food had MASSIVELY improved, and I'm okay better a teeny bit more for better quality. Everyone should be! Our party of four ate there Sunday 9/24. A lot of changes for worse since our last visit 2 months ago at the Paducah KY Red Lobster. The "fish & chips" were a single , thick lump of fish that was heavily breaded and not fully cooked. The shrimp in the "shrimp fettuccine" still had their tails on mixed under everything! What a mess to eat! My favorite dish that I've enjoyed for years, "Salmon New Orleans", also had the tails left on (again, very messy!) and was supposed to have orzo rice but had some kind of inferior substitute rice that I'd never had in the past even though i'd ordered many previous times. Even the ice tea was a disappointment. In the past I've always thought they had the best tea of any restaurant. The tea now is quite bitter and no amount of sweetener made a difference. They've even reduced their selections of sweeteners to only an inferior yellow one. We're so disappointed in Red Lobster. It was one of our favorites only a few months ago. The last few times we've eaten here they have been running low on cheddar bay biscuits. Tonight we didn't get any biscuits until right before we paid the check and we only got three, Our server told us their oven isn't getting hot enough to cook them and that the GM is supposed to fix it. As this has been an ongoing issue for over a year, I'm not sure that her explanation is accurate. Overall the food is pretty good, but the furnishings are a little shabby. Disappointed! I've dined in before and while the service was okay and the servers pleasant, the food comes out cold. This visit was a pick up order and the phone rep was very pleasant and helpful. That's where it ended! Upon arriving and stating I had a pick up order I was sent to the bar. The bartender came to me apologizing that they did not have the coconut shrimp bites. Pause...I ordered the large coconut shrimp for the all you can eat shrimp, plus scampi, the spicy drizzled shrimp and fried shrimp. What I got was basically a bunch of fried shrimp instead of the glazed shrimp. I didn't get the blue cheese in place of sour cream I ordered for my potato, which was just thrown in the container in opened and tepid. The biscuits were cold and stale tasting. The apple pie was ice cold, and though only 5 minutes from the restaurant the shrimp and broccoli needed a minute in the microwave. Moreover I waited for the coconut shrimp and it too was cold. To top it off no fork, knife, salt, pepper.... Thank goodness I put an extra in my suit case when I travel! I was happy I didn't spend $ on the lobster. Hey Red Lobster if you are going to offer pick up make sure the food is fresh and worth the $. Napkins and fork would have been nice too. Perhaps it's just this location. read more

Took my best friend there for her Birthday dinner. We both ordered the unlimited Shrimp fest. Wait time was a bit longer than expected (about 30 mins) but well worth it. The Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful to each other. Great teamwork. The Table next to us seemed to have a problem with there food. The Manager took care of them WAY WAY WAY above and beyond. My wife, son and I, went to the Red Lobster to fulfill something he has wanted to do, try lobster. We came in and were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was friendly and patient. We ordered the full platter of seafood it was cooked to perfection, which was strange because my wife and I had been there a few months earlier and the lobster was cooked to rubber. The food was ok. But the service?!? I ordered the classic Caesar dinner salad off the full menu for $9.99 and a baked potato for my side. I received a $2.49 side salad when everyone else got their appetizers and then when the other meals were served I got a miniature potato on an even smaller plate. Not to mention I was embarrassed but also they charged me. I had no problem paying $10 for my meal salad but not $2 for a side salad when one in our party declined his salad that came with his meal, nor $4 for a baked potato side when another in our party declined their side. I use to work here a manager had made me cook pasta off the floor. They put so much grease on the food and most of the food is not fresh and is frozen including the crabs, cakes and desserts. For the clam chowder they use canned clams. Pasta gets a three day mark which means you probably ate pasta that was made two days ago. read more
