Gave it another try 5/25. Ordered Gumbo and a Lobster Pizza. Gumbo was full of flavor, but lacked traditional Andouille Sausage. Lobster Pizza was good. The only issue was the center crust became soft due to moisture retained under it. Only real issue was Biscuits which were to be served with Gumbo, were delayed and came with Pizza. This is probably the most unflavorful, dirty, not appetizing restaurants that I have eaten at in a very long time. Red Lobster chains are going downhill. When I walked in the door- it's so dark dim and that's probably because the floors are so dirty with food, the dark carpet masks the uncleanliness of this place. The pictures on the menu are way more appetizing then the actual food being presented you you. It's really bad when you can ask the waitress what's in a sauce and she does not know what's in a shrimp sauce. All bad! I'm only giving this place a 1 -star because I liked the waitress. Never again will I come back to any Red Lobster restaurant. You just lost a family who enjoys eating out! read more

We have been Red Lobster customers for as long as I can remember. They have always been a restaurant that we choose to celebrate special occasions because the food was always very good but I really feel that their quality is going down hill. We recently went for a family birthday, with a party of 6, and I ordered a very simple, usual favorite, shrimp trio platter meal. I was very disappointed. The soup was cold, clam chowder, and the pasta shrimp Alfredo was tasteless and the pasta and shrimp were over cooked, also the mashed potatoes that I got as a sided tasted terrible. I paid extra for the upgraded lobster mashed potato side and the sauce was fishy and there were only two small lobster pieces. It didn't look anything like the picture. The worst was that we were there for my mother's birthday and she ordered the "fresh" catch, swordfish, and she said it definitely wasn't fresh but frozen. The service was ok, not great, but not terrible. I just feel that for the price we ended up paying that the food should have been better. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next family celebration. read more

This was my worst experience with any Red Lobster. Even drinks were slow - one even had to be cancelled due to not ever being delivered for 45 minutes. Food was not delivered after waiting an hour. Contacted manager who disappeared into the back and never resurfaced. Checks were slow to be delivered and were wrong. The food that was finally delivered was decent. This is a late review but during mother's day I did a online order and like hundred of other people I was received with a highly overwhelmed restaurant. I was told it would be a minimum of 3.5 hours!! before I got my order at which point I asked the gentleman at the door how I could cancel my order. The Red lobster Employee told me and many others!! to just dispute the charge with our bank. I again asked if there was another way and he said it would be better if I dispute the charge. I went ahead and disputed the charge and Red Lobster challenged the charge and stated I took the food and they owed me NOTHING!! read more

I have been coming here since Red Lobster opened in this area and beyond, even in L.A. However, in the last year or so, their quality has diminished. I spoke to management about something as simple as separating my mashed potatoes from my lobster on to go orders, so the juice from the lobster wouldn't turn my potatoes into mush. This man/manager who told me, this is how we customerialy package it so be more specific next time, which I have done. Fast forward until the last couple of visits. We would order things with Alfredo sauce. Those dishes would have lots of noodles but we're lacking Alfredo sauce and they were dry. I even said to my husband, we can't order the same Alfredo dish because they wont give enough sauce. So, I saw where you could order extra Alfredo sauce in exchange for additional payment. On December 22, I ordered additional sauce and crab and paid the upcharge for each, it was all packaged separately. The meal, the extra sauce, and the EXTRA CRAB. Tonight, I did the same and my daughters Cajun chicken linguini was dry and the extra crab I paid for was not packaged separately as before and it was non existent. Although, when my husband asked about it, the server "lied" and said the crab was with the main dish. So, I shared the sauce I paid extra for with my daughter. I currently have 4 unused rewards, which means I have spent well over $ 500 . The reason why I am back up, is because the reward app was malfunctioning until a server told my husband to uninstall and reinstall the app. All of this is unexceptable. I guess it is time to stop patronizing, spread the word and go to corporate! read more

When we arrived, no one was there to greet us for about 2 minutes. After being seated, we were given menus with what looked like mashed potatoes squashed in them. After ordering, we received salads but there were no utensils. Food was adequate. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the great staff team. The customer service is great up front but the people in the kitchen did a poor job. I got the Lobster feast, and it seemed as if I ordered sushi. The only part of the Maine lobster that was cooked was the top, and all the shrimp in my pasta was raw. Here now for dinner and the service is horrible! From the waitress not clearing listening to us as we order, she would repeat what she thought what we wanted which was wrong! We went the day before mothers day thinking it would be to busy on Sunday and we found that it was busy but we got a seat right away on a Saturday night. We started with a bowl of lobster bisque that was to die for, had lots of pieces of lobster in it. I had a broiled seafood platter and added a lobster tail, it was all very good, the only thing I could say that was bad was the portions were small. me and my sister went for endless shrimp. There was no wait to be seated, the waitress was nice and make sure our drinks were always full. She put in our shrimp orders fast, so we always had shrimp coming to the table. I wasn't a fan of the new grilled teriyaki shrimp it made the shrimp taste "gummy", but the scampi, regular grilled shrimp and the pineapple coconut bites tasted great. The lobster was burnt and didn't taste right, so I'm thinking it was probably that that gave us food poisoning. I finally got to go to Red Lobster last week. I was out in Palmdale for a job and I noticed a Red Lobster. I said to myself I've got to have better luck with this one. I can't hit two bad Red Lobsters in one week. I had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but other than that everything was awesome. My waitress was super attentive. My coke and water glasses never even got half empty. My food was delicious. And yes I even got my cheese biscuits!!! So hot and delicious. Came here the other night because of their commercial they are running on TV right now for the Crab lovers Trio. I had it and it was everything I imagined it would be. There was 1/2 pound of snow crab legs, which I actually prefer to king crab legs, they were as good as always. Then there was the king crab legs that they cooked up scampi style. The king crab has lots of garlic in them, to the point that it had chunks of garlic. When I make scampi at home its always with chunks of scampi and not just chopped up garlic so this was just as I love it. If you don't like big pieces of garlic you will have to pick them out. The scampi style king crab legs was quite unique and very good. Lastly there was grilled shrimp with a white wine crab sauce over it. This sauce had a very creamy texture and a great flavor. Debbie had one of the other trios, I can't remember the name but it had a rock lobster, snow crab legs and shrimp scampi. All three were wonderful with the lobster and shrimp not over cooked at all, which is a common problem with both. Her scampi also had chunks of garlic. Luckily both her and I love garlic so it worked out great. Over all this was a great meal for the price and I'm glad we came here for it. read more

First let me say the service was pretty good. Clean, polite and professional. Downer here was we asked for hot sauce with the clam chowder and after it was dropped off it was a good ten minutes before our server checked in she was surprised it wasn't already there. We needed it bc the chowder was bland and then cold. Our drinks took a little longer to reach us and for the 'top shelf Long Island iced tea' I'd expect to see a fancier glass. We were celebrating a birthday and came her for lunch on a Sunday. No waiting and we were promptly seated by a pleasant hostess. That was great, especially bc we were with our son. Now, the whole reason why we were there was for The Lobster. Bri ordered the lobster/shrimp roll. They give you two which was nice. I had half of one. The roll was good, very salty though which probably made it taste better. I should have pulled out a piece on its own to taste but I was so famished I forgot to. I did have one whole shrimp from the roll. It was poached and nice. Sadly I ordered the lobster tacos. The presentation was nice but omg it was full of this green sauce that completely overwhelmed the taco. I should have sent it back and asked for no sauce but I was so hungry and we were on a tight schedule to get to Newhall to go wine tasting plus with the baby you never know how much time you really have before he gets antsy. I didn't taste lobster at all just the green sauce, cabbage and the taco itself. I did pull out a piece of lobster and it was claw meat. I have never seen anything like this. It was so dehydrated! I seriously hope that anyone who tries the lobster here doesn't get this piece bc it tasted nothing like lobster and it sure didn't look like it. I was thinking of ordering the pizza but the server said the tacos were more in my words 'lobster forward' maybe I should have gone that route? "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Had food poisoning once from this Red Lobster when I ordered king crab so you think I would learn... Foolish enough to get it again and not only was it fishy and had freezer burn, but parts of the claw were like shriveled crab jerky and the legs' meat was like an old kitchen sponge soaked in fishy water. The crab was visibly spoiled and a manager never even came to the table. Definitely not a good experience. read more
