It's been about a year I don't come to this restaurant, however after running errands I thought it would be a good idea to tried them out again. We did have a great experience last time so "why not"?. We went for early dinner on a Saturday about 5pm and the first thing we noticed is how dark the restaurant looks, right after you get slapped by the smell of wet rug or whatever that musty smell was. Now our server was great, very friendly and quick. I do say they were super slow and barely any tables had people. The sangria flight was delicious lol Food was mid as best. Bacon scallops were not good and definitely didn't look like in the picture. Wouldn't recommend. For main I had the seafood pasta which was a no for me. Me and my family are lovers of seafood boil, we saw their advertise for red lobster, having seafood boil, and we decided to give them a try instead of going to our local seafood restaurant. We arrived at the location the first thing the host informed us. We have to wait between 25 to 30 minutes due to a shortage of employees. After waiting, we sat down and we immediately order our food. The waiter took all of the orders, the food took probably half an hour to be prepared and served. We ordered five seafood boils and we added lobster to it and honestly, I was not impressed with the size of the shrimps or the lobster. They were very small and the potatoes as well. To have spent $350 on this location I don't think it was worth it when we could have way better quality from original seafood restaurants like we have been before . We ordered the seafood boil with 3 lobster tails, crab legs, sausage, shrimp, corn and potatoes. We did Cajun and Old Bay and spicy. The mushrooms stuffed with seafood were delicious to start with. We didn't have high expectations but this experience was definitely noteworthy. Bang for your buck and absolutely finger licking good. Bring hand sanitizer, and fret not, they got you on the toothpicks! Impressed by the new CEO and wanted to give them another shot after coming out of bankruptcy. The visit started weird by strange smell (pee or seafood) right when I walked in (maybe in the carpet). The hostess, Pamela I think, was uber friendly and gracious. Throughout the night, she was super all over the place in the best way possible. Our server started strong with good communication about the delay, wanted to get out another tables hot food but would be right back, ok cool. However she came back to take the order and disappeared until food came out like 20 mins later despite saying she'd bring more biscuits and needing some drink refills. The food itself was good for what it was but I will definitely say the pricing has gone up quite a bit on some times there. I know it has everywhere but for the price points they are charging, there are other seafood places that are doing it better ( I know they don't have the biscuits though, lol). So basically I'm a food inspector that goes to different restaurants testing their food. I decided to go with my mother because it's Mother's Day and before going into a restaurant I called to make a reservation. They didn't do reservations which I was fine with but the way the worker was talking to me like she had better things to do wasn't up to other restaurants standards. When we got to the restaurant we waited 10-14 minutes to get seated which was expected since it was a holiday. When it was our turn to get a table we had a nice waiter but the problem was it took her 9 minutes to get to our table, yes I kid you not from 6:03 to 6:12 me and my mother sat there waiting to order food. Then when we got our drinks and cheddar bay biscuits it took our waiter from 6:19 to 7:03 to actually get our meal. I know it was a holiday but still waiting that long was outrageous I was looking around and the atmosphere was full of boredom. Everyone there was just sitting down tapping their fingers looking at the people who already got their food with envy and as kids would say not gonna lie always also looking at other peoples food wish interviewing I could be fed already. At my time there I could also see a couple with a baby the wife was half asleep while the baby was asleep. I felt ashamed bringing my mother into such an establishment for mother's days. When had got our food we ate like wild barbarians because that was the level of hunger we were at. When we got the check we had to remind the waiter that she missed a side of hush puppies. Overall being there was a bad experience if you want to get a restaurant I would suggest Ihop , Dennys, or Outback Steakhouse. They could get you your food in half the time. read more

I have been to this location twice in the past two weeks. I cannot tell you the last time I've even been to a Red Lobster. Last week I went for the $20 Crab legs Tuesday special (they have specials for each night) and I was pleasantly surprised. They were the same size crab legs that you'd get at a seafood boil restaurant. I honestly expected some scrawny crab legs like you'd get at Publix. You could get the crab legs as simply steamed or roasted garlic. I opted for the roasted garlic. The meat itself didn't really have that flavor once you cracked it open which tells me the crab legs are just steamed and then the sauce is poured over it and tossed. It was served over a bed of crispy potatoes which I could've done without. With all that being said, it was still really good and I definitely go back for this. I also went just yesterday to celebrate my niece's birthday. She'd been saying that she wanted shrimp so Red Lobster seemed like the perfect place since they have the endless shrimp. Right before going, I'd read an article that they'd increased the price from $20 to $25 because they didn't expect such an influx of customers and was experiencing profit loss because of the amount of shrimp being eaten. Even with that $5 increase, it is still a great deal. They initially start you off with 3 choices. I choose the grilled, scampi and dragon. The grilled and scampi was delicious. The dragon shrimp was very mushy in the inside. So for the second and third round I alternated between the grilled and scampi. It also comes with one side which I opted for french fries. I started the night off with an espresso martini, my absolute favorite drink. It was a very sweet, chocolately drink garnished with a piece of brownie. Would recommend as a drink after you eat your food and coming from someone who likes to try espresso martinis in different places, I wouldn't call this an espresso martini but it was very good and I would recommend. My boyfriend got the passion fruit margarita and it tastes like juice and is dangerously good. Another traditional staple of Red Lobster is their rolls. They give it to you before your meal and THEY ARE DELICIOUS AND ADDICTING. They are garlic parmesan and they are lightly toasted on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. We also got the lobster dip and it's basically spinach and artichoke dip with tasty, seasoned lobster. I've definitely had better spinach and artichoke dips but what makes this dip is the lobster. After that, I was needing another drink and it's called the under the purple sea. It tastes like watermelon jolly rancher so if you're not a fan of sweet drinks, then I wouldn't recommend this. Finally, we shared the lobster fest. We got the Maine lobster tail, garlic butter lobster tail, lobstermac & cheese. The Maine lobster roll was surprisingly, pretty good and was served with a side of butter of course. We also got the garlic butter lobster and it was a little flavorless considering it had garlic butter on top and around it. The lobster Mac and cheese was my favorite thing on the plate. Usually when you order Mac n cheese at a restaurant, it's a hit or miss because it usually too dry and needs way more cheese. Here, the Mac n cheese was cheesy to perfection and had a good amount of lobster on top of it. Now let's talk prices: all of this cost $120 (not including tip). To start we got the delicious Red Lobster bread and for the appetizer coconut shrimp which did not disappoint. We also ordered the Mango berry sangrias and berry sangria, and they were so good. For our main lobster and shrimp with fries, Lobster lovers with shrimp linguine alfredo lobster and steak, and chicken tenders with fries for the kids. Portions were sizable. Our server was nice, but the service was ok he seemed lost, and not very knowledgeable we had to point out from the menu what we wanted as he did not know the menu. I did what daughters do and met my mom for lunch at her choice of restaurant. My mom ordered a shrimp platter and I had a salad. We shared a brussels sprout for the appetizer and of course we both enjoyed the bread, so vegetarian option not vegan. They do, however have an amazing happy hour selection. The drink prices are great and so was the service. Our server was excellent . She really super nice, friendly and attentive. The environment was nostalgic and it's not because I haven't been in almost 10 years, they just haven't updated the place. There weren't a lot of people for the time of day. I don't know if that was a good sign or a bad sign, but it did help with service. Today, any day of the week is like you are going out to eat and you don't think anything of it. The service was fast and friendly. Gilene asked me how the Garlic Snow Crabs were and I asked where the shower was. There is no way to act like a lady eating these delights. The $5 Watermelon Martini is worth it. Our server, Rebecca, was kind and courteous. Our food and drinks were delivered promptly and with the proper utensils. I ordered the same thing I ordered at the other location, including the drink - the Mariner's Seafood Boil with Cajun seasoning, and the Tito Strawberry Lemonade, (see my review of 7/10/25). This chain makes good biscuits and they are freshly made. I had a not-so-good experience at this location. I am giving it 2 stars for the food and those delicious biscuits. We came around 7:30 and were quickly seated. This location always has a long wait. The waitress seemed a little distracted but nice. She initially took a long while to come to our table. We thought she was backed up and so we placed a complete order as in drinks, appetizers, and meals to speed things up. We told her we had tickets for a show. Next to us, the place was setting up for a large group of around 18 people. The waitress brought our appetizers and fifteen minutes later the drinks and biscuits. Around this time the large group started to get seated. Our waitress ignored us. 20 short minutes later we flagged her down literally, and asked about our meal. She said the kitchen was backed up. We noted the group of 18 who came after us, was being served. Another 15 short minutes later we asked to speak to a manager. The waitress came and told us. "When we get larger groups the kitchen prioritizes them first" that is crazy. We got our meal when the last plate was served for that group, even though we got there first. Red Lobster is a mediocre restaurant at best, and if you come here expecting to have a fine dining experience or to get top rate service, you are seriously delusional. This is budget dining sea food, along the lines of Denny's or iHop, except with seafood. Nothing more, nothing less. The wait staff are not going to be the best, because they aren't being paid to be. The food is going to be battered and fried and you're not getting the best of the sea. You're also not paying for the best. So, this review is not looking at any of those things because they are a given and you should know that before you walk through the door. I am giving this review because of Tiffany, the manager/bartender/waitress. Her job is manager, but on the unfortunate night that we happened in, she had three of her staff call in and she was covering for them. She was also in charge of the takeout orders. In short, Tiffany was very busy. But with everything she had to do, she still waited on our table, and she was wonderful. She was as attentive to us as she could possibly be, she offered suggestions and she steered us toward the best of the endless shrimp dishes. The shrimp was fine. The dragon is especially tasty. The garlic was tasty, but I hate dealing with tails. All-in-all, the shrimp was really good. There is a coconut one that I especially liked. Even better with the dipping sauce they provide. I wish I could have handled more than two go-arounds (three different types each time), but my stomach is already bigger than I want it to be, so I limited myself. Thank you, Tiffany, for being you. I have never been so exhausting from a dinner in my whole life. We came because we heard about their daily deals so Tuesday is snow crabs for $20, that was enough to get us through the door. We were greeted and told for a party of 6 it would be 5 minutes but then that changed to a 20 minute wait on what seemed to be an empty Halloween night. Our waitress Jaime was very kind in her kitty cat costume making sure she got our drinks immediately and getting us our biscuits. Sadly she seemed very overwhelmed and couldn't be as attentive but it was not her fault as they were understaffed. So a timeline we arrive at 7 were seated by 7:20, and we finally placed our order 7:50. After what felt like hours our food finally arrived at 8:30. While the rest of my party ate I still hadn't received my order of crab legs which arrived at the table at almost 9pm. After all the waiting I was truly ready to tell our waiter that I didn't even want them anymore but at that point they came. After eating a few of the crabs legs there was a rubber band sitting in between the legs and at that point I had enough. The manager was called over and he said they are understaffed and backed up and he would help us out. Which I was grateful for cause I get it times are tough. My "southwest bowl" came with nothing but a spoon of orzo and shrimp. Nothing else. I called the restaurant and one of the employees got the manager on the phone. She picked up and asked for the name on my order now she currently has me waiting on hold for 30+mins. Ridiculous. Horrible service. When I go in person I'm disappointed every time and now even delivery is disappointing. Update- called back on a second phone and they picked the phone up and left it hanging. I could hear employees walking and talking. Finally they picked up an hour 30 min later on the original phone I was calling on and said Lisa was the manager that initially picked up the phone but she left. This was my 1st time at this location and its definitely not the Red Lobster I'm used to dining at. When I walked in, the 1st thing I notice was how dirty was the lobster tank. This location needs a MAJOR deep cleaning on everything from dusting to removing the musty/moldy smell. There was no host to greet you, and sadly, only 2 waitress on Memorial Day. Our server was okay! She did the best she could with all the tables that she had. We ordered the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo, Seaside Shrimp Trio and the Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out. The dip was excellent. Will always be a popular go to restaurant no matter what part of town you go to. Red lobster has recently created an app where you can scan your receipt and earn points fr purchases which is amazing! You can also put in a reservation through the app. So I highly recommend trying the app out. Came in for a mid day lunch week and we were quickly seated. Our waiter was beyond nice and kind to all of us. They now offer 5$ appitezer during the week before 6pm which is a great addition to the menu. There lunch menu has a lot of options but so you know do not include the entree salads. A new menu item is the petite lobster and shrimp roll which has good amount of lobster and flavor. The french fries are always the same, maybe in the future redlobster can add different French fries like curly, seasoned or sweet potato fries as many restaurants have upgraded. The coconut shrimp entree was filling and full of flavor. I was beyond impressed that I got a good amount of food and not overly breaded as other coconut shrimp.
