We went to Texas Roadhouse early afternoon to avoid the dinner crowd (and we had had a small lunch so some hunger was involved - lol ). We were greeted warmly and immediately taken to our booth by the bar area- I guess they were seating that area first because ours was almost the last booth. As we were seated with the menues, we were also immediately provisioned with warm bread rolls and honey butter ... mmmm Our waitress came with waters and asked if we wanted something to drink so my partner ordered his beer and I was fine with water and we sat to observe the menu and decide which steak to have. On the entrance there is a big refrigerator with certain cuts of steak and I have to say that the sizes of the meat cuts are very generous so that was great! Did I mention the tables have a baggie with peanuts to crack while you wait and a metal bucket for the skins? That was cute and tasty! Anyway: I chose my favorite a NY strip 12 ounce- because the 8 ounce said "thick cut" and the 12 said "traditional cut" so I went with the tradition. He chose his 6 ounce filet , both medium rare with a baked potato. There's 2 sides but I knew the potato was enough for me. The steaks came out relatively fast and they were on point! And tender! We've come to this location a few times now because my boyfriend enjoys the combo with chicken critters and ribs. He also gets the fries unsalted because otherwise they are way too salty. This time, I ordered the grilled salmon with a baked potato and vegetables as sides. Everything is fairly plain and average, nothing to write home about. The best part of the meal is the soft bread they serve as an appetizer. Service is always friendly and ambiance is very casual and family-friendly. I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my party received during our visit on Saturday. Our group consisted of six people celebrating a birthday, and unfortunately the experience was frustrating from beginning to end. After being seated, we waited approximately 30 minutes before our server even greeted our table. When she finally arrived, she took our drink orders, but my drink was brought without the sugar I specifically requested, and my boyfriend's shooter was missing. Before everyone at the table even had a chance to place drink or appetizer orders, the server abruptly turned around and walked away. Roughly 30 minutes later, she returned with my appetizer. As she attempted to leave again, another guest at the table had to stop her in order to place an appetizer order. During that interaction, she asked whether we were ready to order our entrées. We explained that we wanted to wait until the other guest received his appetizer before ordering our meals. At that time, I also requested a water. The server did not return until approximately 15-20 minutes later when the second appetizer arrived, and once again she left immediately afterward without checking on the table or seeing if anyone needed anything else. When she eventually came back, she took our entrée orders and disappeared again. After waiting approximately 30-45 minutes, our food finally arrived. Ironically, this was also when I finally received the water I had requested much earlier. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. Several entrées were only lukewarm when they arrived, as though they had been sitting for some time before being brought to the table. My boyfriend ordered his steak medium, but it arrived well done. The birthday guest ordered a meal that was supposed to include chimichurri sauce, yet the sauce never arrived. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of table service throughout the evening. The server rarely checked on us and never gave us an opportunity to communicate our needs. We were never offered peanuts, drinks were not properly checked, missing items were not noticed, and we had no opportunity to mention that we were celebrating a birthday. I had planned to order a brownie dessert for the birthday guest, but because the server was so unavailable, I never had the chance to tell her. Throughout the evening, I occasionally saw the server elsewhere in the restaurant performing side work. Having previously worked in a restaurant myself, I understand that side work is part of the job. However, it was frustrating to see those tasks being prioritized while our table repeatedly went long stretches without any attention. Eventually, my boyfriend had to send his steak back because it was both incorrectly cooked and cold. At that point, we were so disappointed with the experience that we asked for to-go boxes, packed up our food, and left. One thing that stood out to us was that everyone in our party was over the age of 21 but under the age of 25. I cannot say for certain whether our age influenced the service we received, but we consistently felt dismissed and overlooked throughout the evening. The server's attitude and lack of attention made us feel as though our table simply was not a priority. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I had visited the West Palm Beach Texas Roadhouse location the weekend before and had an amazing experience. I enjoyed it so much that I told my friend all about it, and he specifically wanted to come and experience the atmosphere, service, and overall experience that Texas Roadhouse is known for. Instead, what should have been a fun birthday dinner turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. The excessive wait times, lack of attention from our server, missing items, cold food, incorrectly prepared meals, and inability to communicate even basic requests made for an extremely disappointing visit. We started with the bread rolls because how can you not love the cinnamon butter?! Then we had the potato skins. Lastly, I got the sirloin and grilled shrimp combo. I like my steak well done (I know a tragedy). The steak came back medium rare. I sent it back and it came back medium. We sent it back again and it finally came back well done. I'm not sure what sauce came with this meal but it was delicious. The manager apologized more than once and even gave us a voucher and comped our meal. Steaks are cooked just the way you ask and the side of sauteed mushrooms for added bonus. Sweet potato with their cinnamon butter always my go to side. Place is loud, casual and best for when you want some good comfort food. The staff is super friendly and fast. Food comes out fast even when the place is packed. We were here for the end of the year luncheon. We had an event menu with options that included steak, chicken, and salads. The entire came with two sides abs we had the choice of a free beverage. I started with the margarita. It was good, a little on the weak side but refreshing. Then came to famous Roadhouse rolls with cinnamon butter. I usually resist the bread but everyone was having one so I joined in. Fresh, warm, pillowy rolls with that yummy butter was worth whatever carbs were involved. I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin with sweet potato and green beans. I devoured the green beans. They were so good. I ate 1/3 of the sweet potato. It had toasted marshmallows on top which made it seem like a holiday. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. Some people bothered the waiter with orders of other items not included in the event menu. He was doing his very best to serve a large crowd and I felt bad. My filet was a little overcooked, but everyone else's steak was cooked properly and all were tasty! When they came out... mine was cut in half and anyone with eyes could see this was not medium. The burger was rare. I didn't send it back because well I recently watched a clip from serving and I didn't want to take my chances. I knew I could take it home and heat it up on the stove. Dad's came out medium well but that was fine, at least it wasn't burnt and it was cooked. I just ate the fries and asked for a box. It's spacious & doesn't feel like you're sitting right on top of other parties or vice versa. Whether you opt for a NY strip, filet, ribeye or something else, it's almost guaranteed to be delicious. More importantly, they cook their steaks perfectly. But let's be honest who wants anything more than medium rare?! The side salads are also great & worth a mention. They're super fresh & their ranch & blue cheese dressings are delicious. Portion sizes are also really solid. They have an amazing "cactus blossom" which is a massive fried onion that comes with a side of Cajun dipping sauce, it's a must have. And who could forget their unlimited amount of roll baskets served to you as you please? Warm, Sweet, buttered pillows of pure deliciousness. I've been to Texas Roadhouse a few times before, each time I was trying to convince a C Suite Member of the Salt Mine where I toil away for five days a week, that my idea is the right way to go. Leaving a meeting in the area, it was getting late and I was hungry, so The Roadhouse it is.... Once I arrived I was seated pretty quickly considering it was the dinner rush. The place is large and looks like its inspiration came from the Movie. I was waiting on Dalton to walk through telling the staff to "be nice". As I perused the menu, I realized I'd never had a Steak here, I chose a 12oz Ribeye Medium Rare with Mushrooms with a side of Green Beans, )the server tells me beans contain bacon and ask if that's okay. I replied yes.) and a Caesar Salad. Then decided to get the Snake Bites as an appetizer. I sit back and wait. Less than two minutes latter the Snake Bites arrive at my table. Much larger portion than I expected and the Snake Bites themselves were much larger than I expected. There was an unusual amount of oil on the paper in the basket. I tried one it was oily but cheesy and had a good flavor. I tried another, again very oily. My conclusion is they fry these ahead of time and drop them back into the fryer when they get an order. This, they retain more oil than they should have if fried fresh. My Caesar arrives and it was good;, about what you expect from a chain restaurant Caesar Salad. My Ribeye arrives with my Green Beans and I'm ready for a good meal. A few turns of Cracked Black Pepper over my Steak and Green Beans and I dive in. After a couple of bites of Green Beans, I realize I taste onion. I motion to the Server and ask if they contain onions and they check and confirm my suspicions. I tell him I have an Allergy and he removes them. The beans were good while they lasted. They were replaced by a standard mixed vegetable. I cut into my Steak and the first bite with a bit of mushroom was okay in fact it was good. As I cut more into the Steak, it was clearly not Medium Rare. It became Medium as I cut more, even moving into the Medium Well side of the scale. Overall, the entire meal was just okay. With the exception of the no disclosure of an ingredient in the Green Beans (that were delicious) that could have made me very very sick. It was an okay meal. If I return, maybe I'll go at some time other than the dinner rush. I'm optimistic that the quality could improve. read more

Whoever thought of giving two butters with complimentary rolls, thank you! Every time I came to a Texas Roadhouse location, the one butter was never cutting it as there would always be left over bread but no butter left. This location was going to be a hit or miss when I came for lunch because of a previous situation with a steak but we were going to give it another try. When we arrived, we were sat extremely quickly but as we were being usher to our seats, I've notice the worker remove the extra plates from our table that a few where still very dirty with a pink sauce. The worker did remove those dirty plate as quickly as possible but due to the plates being near me when I sat down, I noticed the dirty dishes when they were being separated. Our waitress attended us very quickly with a good attitude. When it came to the food, we really never have issues unless it's how the steak is cooked. I order the Chicken Critter meal with a side of loaded mash potatoes and applesauce. My fiancé order the Chicken Critter & Sirloin 6oz medium with onions, mash potatoes and Mac n' Cheese. My food was fine, nothing to complain about but the issue we had in past happened again with my fiancé's steak being cooked medium-well with no onions. We didn't say anything about the steak as it was already eaten half way but our waitress did notice the minute she arrive back at our table to see how we were doing that the onions were missing. She did remove them from our check and it did look like she went to the kitchen as well to give them that little heads up as well. Overall, we will be back to Texas Roadhouse in the future but sadly not this location mainly because the same issue with the cook of a steak. Popularity has its problems. Extremely long waiting times to get a table even when using their application that places you on the waitlist. We left the Miami restaurant and drove to this location in Miramar to be closer to home only to be acknowledged that we had arrived and to stay near the building for a text from the restaurant. Pay no attention to that text. Please go inside and show the seater the text or you might never get a text or be seated. After waiting outside by the front doors, my father-in-law suggested we check inside. No text ever arrived as group after group was being called and seated ahead of us. Sure enough they found the call ahead placement on the waitlist list. We were told to wait 5 minutes and we would be seated. Sure enough Aaron politely apologized, explained how busy they were and led my wife, my father-in-law and myself to a post major league baseball game dinner. We received extremely prompt service and were able to get hydrated and place our orders. We go a Cactus Blossom appetizer to share. We ordered: Dallas fillet (medium well) with Caesar salad and mashed potatoes; BBQ Chicken / 6 oz Sirloin Combination with green beans and sweet potato; 11oz Sirloin medium rare with upsized Bowl of Chili and Caesar salad. You cannot go to Texas Roadhouse without talking about their delicious, sweet rolls. I have learned not to start eating them or else I will just keep eating the rolls and will end taking home my entree and sides. The Cactus Blossom was initially extremely crunchy and tasty but unfortunately had a later spiciness that was distasteful. I tried eating it with the dipping sauce. That helped some but I would never order it again. My wife ate a little more than I did. My father-in-law ate the most but he too must not have liked it much. We ate way less than 1/2 of it. It was so busy that our well intentioned waitress was in over her head. We requested butter for my father-in law's sweet potato, more rolls and a spoon so I could eat the chili. Each had to be requested a second time! Does Texas Roadhouse need to hire more waitstaff for the busy shifts on the weekends? As for my medium rare steak it was not to my liking. I cut off 2 pieces. I ate the first piece and could not believe how cold the meat was. I asked my wife if her Dallas filet was hot? She replied that it was warm at best. I didn't bother to ask my father-in-law. My conclusion, eat at Texas Roadhouse only if there is no waitlist. You will get hot food. One has to wonder how long our food sat after it was cooked and before it was delivered to us. I have had Texas Roadhouse's chili numerous times in the past to know I like. Unfortunately it was much spicier at this location than the previous times I ordered it and loved it. I did not like its flavor. I liked the chili so much in the past I upgraded it from a cup to a bowl. A big mistake. I barely touched it. Extremely disappointing. I would NEVER order it from the Miramar location. If you want to NOT to be able to talk with the people seated across the table from you, then Texas Roadhouse in Miramar is the perfect location and restaurant for you to go. The noise level is so loud that hearing individuals at your own table requires raising your voice and leaning in. This doesn't even mention how many times I had to ask my wife and father-in-law to repeat what they said. I always want to say something positive about any place I go. We arrived around 5:45 a party of five and seated immediately along with two baskets of warm fresh rolls served with honey butter. The waiter came quickly and took our orders. We noticed on the back of the menu that they have several early bird dinners. We all ended up ordering the 6oz sirloin steak served with two sides for $12.99. My sides included a house salad with tomatoes cheese and croutons very fresh and served in an ice cold bowl and a sweet potato delicious. I ended up taking half my dinner home for lunch the next day. Everyone else ordered Cesar salad that looked amazing and dressing was very flavorful. All the steaks were cooked perfectly. In addition we ordered a blooming onion crunchy and tasty served with a side sauce. The Resturant was decorated nicely and the staff performed a little dance along with music. We started right in with a 20 ounce ribeye, loaded potato & I had 1/2 rack with sweet loaded potato like my hubby ordered, however their version of sweet loaded is with marshmallows & syrup, I was looking for cheese,bacon & sour cream. In any case they immediately switched it up to my taste. This spot in the Miramar area is perfect for a family or birthday event! I was attended by a very nice waitress Jarisel she was very attentive and wanted to attend us at her very best. We began with the potato skins, and they were as delicious as they looked with rich flavor did not disappoint, it was fantastic, especially when I paired it with their house Amber beer. The food was impressive, bursting with flavor. If you're a steak lover, they offer a range of different cuts and chicken specialties to choose from. They also have salad options, and a full-service bar with TVs to catch the big game! A few miscues that I did notice- spare plate was below the entree (a no-no) and came dirty had to ask for another plate. I always enjoy a good meal and drink at Texas Roadhouse. Any place with rolls and butter served as soon as you sit down is a good place in my book. I took my mom out to a birthday lunch on this particular visit because she was feeling a tasty burger and drink. And that's exactly what we got. She loved the burger with sautéed onions and mushrooms and I got the bacon cheeseburger. We also had the fried onion app which was also very tasty. The restaurant is in a busy plaza so sometimes parking can be a hassle. The restaurant also gets quite loud when it's busy. Service was pretty good this visit and our waiter was attentive. read more

We arrived at 9:48pm and they close at 11pm which is plenty to time to get food in and be able to cash out before even the kitchen closes. We sat pretty much immediately with no wait, which was nice and everything was well then. A table sits about I'd say 7 minutes after us (we had 5, they had 8 or 9) and the server greets them and takes their order before us, but takes I'd say about 14 more minutes before actually coming to greet or take our drink order. A food runner comes over to say your server will be right over twice (also said he'd bring 5 waters and never did ) until our server comes over and takes the drinks and also takes our food order. In all I'd say about 21 minutes after being sat based on my timestamps from pictures. After that takes about 10-12 ish more minutes to get our drinks which was 4 sweet teas and 1 sprite. They ran out of sweet tea which I have no issue with because they shouldn't need to make another sweet tea batch before they close. Then we proceeded to wait until about 1 hour and 14 minutes after we arrived (life 360 arrival time) to actually receive our food, which means our food took around 41 minutes. Picture timestamp when we received it is 10:58 PM. He said more Mac n cheese is coming and dropped off 1 and we said sure sounds good. We wait and then they bring 2 more when we were waiting on 3 and when we bring it to his attention he proceeds to bring us plain noodles with no cheese and said they ran out of cheese (something along those lines) cause they were closing and at that point just say you don't have any lol don't bring us plain noodles . Also food wasn't amazing but I know it's a chain and I'm not focused on that part. This service just irked us and wished we were treated better! read more

I will go to a Texas Roadhouse in any city at this point because they are consistently good. With that being said, I found one about 13 miles from Ft Lauderdale in Miramar FL. We had to wait because I wanted an indoor table not booth. They called my name so I went to the front expecting to be seated. We had to wait about 5 minutes or so before they were ready to see us after they called my name. I understand that this is not something that has been thought about but please take it into consideration. If you call someone's name to be seated they should not be standing in the corner especially when no one is up there waiting. Some of us have physical challenges that will not allow us to stand for a period of time. We were seated and our server Sarah is the sweetest person we have ever encountered in a restaurant. She was very patient, answered questions in a cool manner, documented well and repeated the order with no problems even when we added or deleted something. Very pleasant. Keep her at all costs and make her happy because she is deserving of everything good. Our meal came out just the way we asked for it with no problems. I took pics of the food bit the red lighting in there would not let me be great with good pictures. The food was excellent, hearty and comforting. It was just what we needed after traveling. Also thank you for the bags of peanuts. Great idea. They were missed. read more

I usually have a really nice visit with no complaints. But this time was very different. The service and food was severely lacking. We ordered three meals with salads. We got one salad and were told that they were chopping the lettuce for the other two, and they would be right out. Other tables were getting their salads ten minutes after we were told it would be a few minutes and we were still missing two salads and server no where to be found. About 15 min had gone by and another salad arrived. I explained we were still missing a salad. I waited. And waited some more. Finally the manager passed by and asked if everything was ok and I said we are still missing a salad. After nearly 20 min my salad arrived. The rest of the food appeared right after. We had 3 starts. All different cuts and sizes. All ordered mid rare. One was great and the other two were well done. The issue was corrected and they brought out two new steaks cooked perfectly. Food was delicious as always, but the workers just keep getting ruder. The hostess Niah and her coworker Dominick were making back and forth comments to each other upon our check in. We arrived within the allotted 15 minutes given after they call you up, yet when we arrived and i gave the hostess my name, Dominick said "are you sure" in a rather snarky tone. Brushing past that, i was only insulted when Niah said "it's not my fault i texted her like 30 f*cking times" (she texted me twice). However, Lila, our server, was so pleasant and made the experience the usually wonderful one that it is. She was kind, efficient, and held pleasant conversations even though she was clearly so busy on saturday night. read more
