Something is off... what I went here for lunch. I got the bloomin Onion, the quesadilla appetizer and the lunch special chicken with fries. The bloomin onion was nice and crunchy, ofcourse we were not able to finish it. The quesadilla was interesting... there were like 5 pieces, it wasn't plated very appetizing. The chicken dish was also very plain looking. Overall it was not as expected - portion and presentation was off. Environment This was located in a plaza and so there is plenty of parking available. The inside was quite large as well, there are table seating, booth seating and bar seating. Niceness of the staff The host was not the nicest, initially I asked for a booth but then realize that it was a little tight and asked for table seating, she wasn't as happy about it but eventually seated us at a table. I went to Outback Steakhouse on Veterans Day and really appreciated that they offered a free three-course meal for veterans - that alone earns them a four-star rating from me. As for the rest of the experience, the ambience was just... okay. Not unwelcoming, but definitely giving mid. I ordered a healthier combo, shrimp on the barbie with a baked sweet potato, and it was actually pretty tasty. The Caesar salad was fine, nothing memorable, and the cheesecake dessert was something I could take or leave. Our waitress was kind, but I did run out of water and went quite a while without a refill, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, I appreciated the gesture for Veterans Day, but would I go back on a regular day? Probably not. read more

It took us 50 minutes from sitting down to get our entrees.... the restaurant was practically empty. The steaks were not very flavorful and also came over cooked. The wedge salad ,however, was good. What a fabulous meal we had at Outback Steakhouse in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We were warmly greeted by the hostess upon our arrival and immediately shown to our table. Our waitress, Kaylee, was a real professional. She was extremely helpful with assisting us making our food choices. We could not resist ordering their famous Bloomin' Onion to get us started with our experience. We then chose to order two of the 6oz. filets, they were both super tasty and cooked to perfection. We had two loaded baked potatoes, as a side dish, along with a fresh house salad, as well as a side order of asparagus (small up charge). The Manager, Kyle, stopped by our table to visit with us to make sure that our meal exceeded our expectations. Kyle was super friendly and very professional. The atmosphere was casual. The dining room was well decorated with an interesting crocodile painting on the wall, and some fun lighting. Over all, Outback is consistently delicious and we throughly enjoyed this "over-the-top" customer experience. We are looking forward to our next Aussie adventure. G'day Mate! read more

We were a party of six and we had to return 3 Steaks because the we're Uu unbearably salty. The server called the manager and she did not seemed happy to even talk to us. There was no apology or even worse nothing to compensate the mistake. Never coming back. read more

We came in at around 8pm and it wasn't crowded. The overall vibe was casual, it seems like a place you can go to with a group of friends. The first thing we tried was the bread. It wasn't good and the butter was too salty. I ordered the blooming fried chicken because the picture in the menu looked good and what came out did not look like the picture. It tasted good but was just a little salty. The sauce that came on the side tasted like dish soap so l didn't really use it. I ordered a side of fries and seasoned rice, and i got the rice but i somehow got mushrooms instead of fries??? The waiter was polite when I brought the issue to his attention and the fries came out shortly after. My friend ordered an outback burger which was well seasoned but whoever prepared the food put all of the mustard to one side of the sandwich. Only one side being packed with mustard threw off the meal and they didn't want to finish the rest. Overall, the experience was okay but I don't see myself coming back here. If you have high expectations for this place, you can either lower them or save yourself the trouble and go to a different restaurant. read more

My wife and I decided to have a little celebration tonight. I mentioned I had been craving a steak and off we went to outback. My wife and I both shared the bloomin' onion; because how can you go to outback and not partake in the bloomin' onion?! I had a ribeye medium rare which was both cooked and flavored nicely. For my two sides I had a jacket potato and salad. Both were very good. The potato was stuffed with cheesy and bacon-y goodness and the salad was, you know, a salad, but still amazing. Outback has been my favorite restaurant since I was a kid so I'm always eager to check the quality of the new local outback whenever I move! This place was great! The vibes were perfect for a casual date night!Our server Gavin was super friendly and accommodating! A manager stopped by our table to check on us which I always appreciate. Me and my husband started with the bloomin petal, the boomarita and a beer. Ordered the filet mignon and the grilled chicken for dinner and had cheesecake for dessert! All the food was delicious! My first Florida visit. I've been to Outback in NYC, Brooklyn, Staten Island and parts of New Jersey. I have to say it's sure isn't the same here in Florida. The service was ok. The ambiance is the same of all that I've already visited. This place wasn't busy at all so the food came out pretty quick. The only down side was I got my beer close to the end of my meal. Not a real deal breaker but it was cold draft at least. Sadly the beer I ordered wasn't available nor was the second choice. That is a bit hard to accept. The food tasted good but, I will say the steak of all the items I had was cold and slightly undercooked. Otherwise it was just ok. Top quality all around. Walking in we were greeted and sat in no time at all. Our waiter was in good manner and well presented timing was fast on his part, we'll trained I can only guess. After we ordered drinks they were brought out to us really fast and they were perfect. We then proceeded to order our meals. The manager Kyle Mooney was awesome to talk with and knew everything from the inside out to this business. Glad to see there are people taking pride and going above and beyond. The food came out and was PERFECT. Everything was as we ordered and my wife knows how to throw a wrench into things. Waitress was busy providing better service to two other tables, conversing away, and completely ignoring everyone else. I'm still very salty that Outback changed their chicken finger recipe. It's probably been over two years since they've done that, but I wish they go back to the original recipe--the legendary one! They keep changing menu items and taking favorites, and replacing them. I have yet to be impressed with the new direction this franchise is going in. The food here is just average. I went with a large group the other day, and everything we got off the menu was just "meh." The service was top-notch, and the restaurant was clean, but the food is just not it anymore. read more

Stopped in for dinner the night before Father's Day. Surprisingly there were many seats available. Our waiter Ruben was super attentive and gave us good service throughout the whole entire meal. Atmosphere is super casual. It's nice to come here and yoga pants and still have a really nice meal, we went with the onion ribeye, which was a fantastic. There's some sauce that they put on it. That makes it even more delicious. I almost forgot to take a picture for the review. they turn around tables pretty quickly around here. Have a three course meal within 35 minutes. I was thinking since this was a fairly new outback location it would be better, but it's lacking in service, taste and cleanliness. Coming in I noticed the floor of the restaurant was dirty and the tables were also dirty. I had to wipe our table and seats down. The restaurant was daily empty so I was thinking our waitress would check on us often, but that wasn't the case. We didn't even get water refills. We ordered a Blooming Onion, it wasn't cooked through. Our Cesar Salad had brownish red pieces of lettuce. I ordered a mixed veggies and a ribeye steak. The veggies lacked seasoning, my steak was under seasoned as well and over cooked. The Potato Soup was delicious and the bread was warm and delicious. Outback Steakhouse is a long-standing moderate priced steakhouse that embraces a pseudo-Australian mindset and theme. I say pseudo-Australian because the chain started in March of 1988 with its first location in Tampa, Florida. I am assuming that with the phenomenal success of the movie "Crocodile Dundee," which came out in 1986 and peaked America's interest in Australia, the owners of that first location decided that an Australian-themed restaurant would be perfect. In case you are too young too really remember "Crocodile Dundee," the movie was the second highest grossing film in 1986 and inspired two sequels. Anyway, Outback Steakhouse built itself into a global empire and I believe that they did eventually open locations in Australia. I came here with a few clients for lunch, so this review will be for their lunch offerings and not one of their steaks, which I have found to be not the best. Their more humble lunch offerings were far better than their steaks and it was an overall positive experience. For lunch, I would recommend here. read more
