I come to Red Lobster a couple times a year. The food is always consistent. I love starting with the Lobster Bisque & dunking those little cheddar biscuits from heaven into the soup. Coconut Shrimp is always great. What made me leave a review this time was my Server Sam. I went in for lunch & Sam was very attentive not just to me, but to his other tables. Every time I saw this guy, he was doing something to help the restaurant. Answering questions for other employees & even prebussing tables that weren't even his. Any restaurant should be grateful to have an employee like Sam. I'd highly recommend this guy as your server if you go in. read more

I only here during Lobster Fest because I enjoy eating lobster. Typically, they don't serve enough and it is too expensive. I usually like to get the Rock Lobster and Maine Lobster together. The food is good and the prices are high. I do want to give props to the cheddar biscuits as these are awesome. Just try and only eat one; I dare you! We both ordered the shrimp linguini alfredo, and the noodles were very dry. We asked for some more sauce and said it would be an extra $3.99. My comment is that if the cooks would put enough sauce to mix with the shrimp, I wouldn't have to buy extra sauce! The rest of the food was so-so. Ate there today for lunch at 1pm. Had a house salad and all you can eat shrimps. Food tasted great but after leaving I began to get stomach cramps. Being the only thing I ate all day. Today our Experience was quite frustrating, I placed my takeout order at approximately 4:00 pm and set the time to pick it up at 5:00 pm, order for 2 (me and my wife only), nothing special or it could take them a long time to prepare, we arrived at 5:15 pm due to the traffic on the 91 freeway. When we arrived at the place, they told me that they were already packing my food and it would only take them 5 minutes and I thought okay. However, those 5 minutes turned into the longest 5 minutes I have experienced lately, they delivered my order at 5:50 pm. Honestly, at a certain point the staff avoided me because my impatience was clearer with each passing minute. I could understand that they delayed my order because they were busy, but two thirds of the tables were empty, few couples dining and that was it, in the end when they gave me my order not even an apology or courtesy was offered by the staff, they made me feel like they were doing me a favor. I stopped going to this restaurant because it is very dirty, old and poorly cleaned tables, chairs or boots are filthy and sticky, dirty cutlery, menus with food stains, sometimes fresh and sometimes worse dry stains like scabs, the waiters just want to serve the table as quickly as possible and they rarely come back, many times they only come to leave the check to pay. As far as I'm concerned, I will not return to this restaurant and I will not order takeout either, it is a waste of time in terms of the quality of the food currently leaves a lot to consider. read more

We spent $160 last night to cook our food again at home. Ordered 4 steaks all of them were nearly raw, definitely rare. Our well done and medium well steaks were bloody, food was cold, biscuits hard, and the longest wait ever for our food. Spoke to the manager and it took me one hang up, 2 twenty minute waits, one cashier, and one manager later for the manager, Betty, to not give me a full refund because the manager on duty didn't know how to give refunds on gift cards. Then why are you a manager? Behind her broken English she had very subpar management skills. When we got in there there was only ONE kid doing to go orders while everyone was standing around and I can see the manager in the kitchen chilling on the kitchen line. Poor kid, you did great given the circumstances, my advice get a new job, they don't deserve you! As for the cooks... our steaks were still mooing. Before I turned to the corner to Kaiser in Riverside, I thought that perhaps I would have an appetizer at Red Lobster for lunch. Then I tried parking across the street from Kaiser and NUMEROS signs were posted that their was no Kaiser Patient Parking in their lots. My husband ordered fish and chips and a Caesar salad. An expediter, not the waitress brought our food and left without asking if everything was okay. One giant piece of fried fish, mostly breading. no salad, no "chips" aka French fries, no malt vinegar. Had to wait for the waitress to reappear to request the missing items...fries she brought were cold and looked leftover. We ordered the unlimited shrimp and the waitors response was "of coarse" eye roll included. They special was ending the following week so they were out of the sriracha shrimp but they had the teriyaki and shrimp scampi. But, there were a number of issues that prevent this from being a 5-star experience: 1. When I asked for a extra shot of Tito's. she came back at least told me how much it would be. They were going to charge me $10.99 so I said no. Whoever came up with this concept is getting promoted or at least a raise. As a chicken & waffles aficionado, I had my doubts. Fried lobster is a no brainer, but waffles from a restaurant that does not do waffles or even breakfast is another thing. Obviously, to my surprise, this combo was a hit. They prepare this savory waffle using the same ingredients from their already popular cheddar biscuits. Service was good, not great but good. They did have multiple waiters come by to see if we needed anything which was nice but when you do ask for a refill on your beverage I would expect them to take back the other cups. I ended up have 3 empty cups sitting there which took up a lot of room on my table while I was eating. Also the waiter or anyone never came back to check on u to see how we were doing when food came so that was a bummer. Monday special from 11-6pm is all you can eat shrimp for $15 but darn we missed that. So we went with other route of $14.99 three course meal which you can choose from salad or soup, main entree with side and a brownie as a desert. Not to shabby... coconut shrimp was on point and you get 8 large shrimp. They have a pina colada dipping sauce which was sweet of you like that kind of stuff. Shrimp scampi well.... I do not recommend it unless you like your food salty and drenched in butter. Oh man my shrimp was so salty it made my tongue almost raw. Since I paid for it I had to eat it. If the waiter would of came back and checked on us I would of returned my food.
