Horrible dining experience. The service was beyond slow and our food was not warm! As if that was not bad enough, there was a hair in my salad and hair in my husband's food. The Manager came by and apologized for the first hair that was in my salad, but when the second hair was found in my husband's dinner she didn't come by! Horrible experience! Someone there is either not wearing a hair net or they are losing hair because at this rate there must be more hair in the food then what is on their head! I say eat at Joes! #redlobster read more

Upon entering we requested a table rather than a booth. The hostess looked confused, I could see 5 empty table from where I stood. She checked with the manager. He told her table 35, she could not find it, she asked the waite staff. We finally got seated & given menus. We waited 5 minutes, no one came to the table. Another table was seated next to us & their waitress was right there. We walked out & went across the parkway, got seated, waited on right away. We have been Red Lobster customers for 30+ years. We have visited the Sevierville,TN location numerous times, but today was the last. Over 50 minute wait with half the restaurant empty. After talking to multiple staff it has become apparent that in the last few months management has changed causing numerous employees to leave. The waitress we had was working her bottom off but when you only have enough staff to staff half a restaurant you have to reevaluate your management team. Red Lobster needs to get rid of the management that has come in there in the last few months and try and save their reputation in this community. read more

Giving 5 stars because we received exceptional service. My husband and I had dinner here on our last night in Pigeon Forge. Our waitress, Mallory, was the best waitress we had during our four day trip. She was friendly and attentive and took great care of her customers. She is one of those rare souls that truly enjoy people and it shows in here work ethic. She asked where we were from and let us know that someone else who works there was from our area. She told him and he came out from the kitchen to see if we knew each other, which I thought was such a sweet gesture. We didn't know one another, but it was great meeting him and we did realize that his grandmother was also from our home town. My husband and I both had the promotional special that Red Lobster has going on right now - which is a soup, salad, entree & dessert for $14.99. We shared an appetizer of stuffed mushroom that came out piping hot and not greasy like we have had at other Red Lobsters. We both chose the potato soup, which was warm, thick and yummy. Our salads were fresh and we had an endless basket of those wonderful Red Lobster biscuits. I had the coconut & grilled shrimp and my husband had the fried shrimp meal. We had to take half our entrees and our desserts with us because we were just stuffed! Red Lobster isn't fancy, there is certainly better tasting seafood out there, but for a moderately priced enjoyable meal they just can't be beat. And if you happen to go to this particular Red Lobster and have Mallory for a waitress, your dining experience escalates to one that competes with the much more expensive restaurants. Best Red Lobster I've been to. After fleeing the crab shack across the street my friend and I were delighted by the genuinely friendly, warm, happy and efficient staff and the well prepared food and beverages at this clean and comfortable restaurant. I would give 4 1/2 star rating if I could b/c I only wish they had king crab instead of just snow crab legs and the seafood, though tasty, is previously frozen. When I return to TN I will go back to this location without hesitation. Thank you! read more

Had the salmon New Orleans (salmon with shrimp and spicy butter sauce, and apparently salsa) mashed potatoes and broccoli. Salmon was freezer burnt, mashed potatoes were cold and hard, and the broccoli was halfway steamed. My husband had popcorn shrimp, a baked potato, and broccoli. No complaints about the potato, but the breading on the shrimp wasn't fully cooked and kind of doughy. Same broccoli issue. I just wanted to write about the food but the staff were not very happy to have a job. If you're not happy with your job then quit or learn to fake it. The host and hostess were very short with us we smiled and greeted them as we came in and were met with frowns. The waitress rushed us the entire time. She didn't ask if we wanted to start with appetizers just wanted our entree orders before she got our drink order. We were checked on once and given our bill at the same time. My family (Me, wife, 4 year old son, and my parents) visited this restaurant on the evening of 4/18/14 while on vacation in the Gatlinburg area. We were seated quickly and had a good meal. The main problem we had was the timing of our service and the treatment by the manager. Our drinks, salads, and appetizers came quickly, but after waiting an hour for our entrees, the manager came to the table and informed us that the waitress had made an error. The dinner orders were not sent through to the kitchen and our food would take even longer. The manager offered a free appetizer, but after waiting an hour for dinner and eating salads, breadsticks, and other appetizers already, we were not interested. Finally, after about 20 minutes more, the waitress brought our entrees to the table and offered a dessert to make up for the error. Once again, after the complete meal we had eaten, we were not interested in dessert and asked for a possible discount. After being there nearly 2 hours for a simple dinner that should have taken 1/3 of that time, the bill came back with the waitress and only 1 meal was discounted from the ticket. I understand this could be a simple error to make, but I have been to restaurants before that when a significant error has been made, a decent discount is given if not a free meal. The manager never came back to speak with us on this issue, and we were disgusted overall with the handling of this issue. I enjoy Red Lobster, but on future vacations to the Smokies, we will not be visiting this establishment. read more

IMy husband and I chose to celebrate our late Valentine's meal with lobsterfest tonight. Our server hannah c. wasnt knowledgeable on drinks nor did she have a suggestion for a appetizer. My husband asked for the types of vodka, which she didn't know. He ordered his drink which she delivered but no water. He also wasn't asked to produce his id which is tn state law. Our stuffed mushrooms were bland and tasteless. And when my husband ordered his next drink, which was a double, this one was slid from the end of the table. Next a woman named allysa comes by and asked if everything was ok, we assume,at this time she is a foh mgr, we say yes and my husband introduces ourselves to her. She moves on. No conversation. The salads were mediocre at best. The entrees arrive and were quite disappointing. We like to converse with our servers but i guess hannah didn't have the personality or experience to do her job. After asking for a box and the check a gentleman brought it to our table stating he was dropping it off for hannah. I put my payment in the presenter and another gentleman (not hannah) picked it up saying do you need change? Since my card was in the book i responded yeah i need it back. At this point we realize hannah has deserted us. My husband then says don't tip her. Having worked as a server I still tipped her 20%. Its her job,if i don't pay her Darden won't. Now for the best part. The only copy of the cc receipt was the one to sign for the restaurant . So i don't get a receipt, and as my husband is standing up to put on his coat allysa walks over and asks us to leave! She then proceeds to walk us to the door, well now of course my husband says a few choice words at the door. Since I've NEVER been asked to leave anywhere this is shocking. I call back to ask why we were escorted to the door. Allysas response was guest complaints and vulgarity. No other guests were on our side of the rerestaurant and no vulgarity until we were at the door leaving. If you want to have a few drinks with dinner, don't do it at red lobster. You may be their next victims of discrimination!/ read more

on 6/17/2013 at 9:00pm, we went in this restaurant, the server didn't tell us they will close at 10:00pm. then we order. about 30 minutes we got food. but I got the lobster soup was cold ( not warm ), I thought , may this soup is ate by cold, I asked server, and then reheat it, I and my wife ordered 2 order lobster tail with string bean and shrimp scampi, but we got no string bean and broccoli instead it. (without our agreement ) and lobster tail was dry and little burn, never look like the picture on menu. too bad bad bad , though we came in too late ( 1 hour before close ) but they must have responsibility for their job. I know they want to go home early to hug their honey, but in their working hours they still need to defend their restaurant's honor. we spent $156.36 at that time, and we got only not happy. I will never go red lobster any more, because I am afraid of bad food like that. If i can , I want to give no star. read more
