We came based on hearing about the turnaround by a new CEO. The service was disappointing and not professional. For example, i ordered a cup of clam chowder and it came with the meal and not as usual before. My spouse ordered a bowl as her main course. Both servings were lukewarm at best. We placed our order with a different waiter? We ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were hot and delicious. Different oven maybe. Red Lobster is not the same anymore. We asked for extra napkins as they now use paper ones. We received little bitty napkins, like cocktail napkins. Maybe 4in x 4in napkins perfect size for toddlers. The food arrived hot, but you no longer get complementary hush puppies. I think the biscuits must of chased them off. It's been an extremely long time since I've been to Red Lobster. I rarely give five star.. especially for a chain restaurant.. however the last two times we have went to this location we have had a wonderful service, beautiful plates of food that were tasty. First of all, our server, Sarah, was excellent. She handled being triple-sat and still provided outstanding service. The biscuits were just as good as I remembered, but after that, the experience went downhill quickly. The lobster bisque was watery and had a very grainy texture; it didn't resemble a bisque at all. I suspect they might have switched to a much cheaper recipe to cut costs. My wife ordered the shrimp, which she described as mediocre at best. To make matters worse, the booth they seated us in was torn on my side and had a large hidden hole on my wife's side. To add insult to injury my wife got sick five minutes after we left. read more

Dined in at the Red Lobster just off I-75 in Sherman, Texas and ordered the Mariner's Seafood Boil. The 2 tiny lobster tails were so tough they wouldn't pop out of the shell, 1/2 lb. crab legs - meat wouldn't come out of the shell either - not much food anyway, a dozen shrimp, (it doesn't say "with tail on", and they were small and tough too), the corn tasted old and red potatoes were not edible because the entire plate was covered in about 1/2 inches of margarine. This wasn't worth $44! A different server just rolled down the clear plastic bag around the serving plate. Prices are too high for the quanity and quality of food and - of course, the follow-up service by the server who took our order was totally absent. Never again. read more

Red Lobster has always been one of my favorite seafood restaurants due to they serve you abundant seafood instead of a small seafood amount with abundant French fries like some of the other seafood places. My Sister and I took my Mother here for Mother's Day. The place was packed and the server was super nice! The mixed drinks were all good except the Long Island tea. But, atmosphere was pleasant with the smiling employees and Awesome Server! I will continue to come to Red Lobster. I would give a 4.5 if I could, but no 5 due to I am a big fan of Long Island Tea, and the one I got there that particular day was not one I have ever tasted (I have tasted many from Dallas TX, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston to Dallas GA), and it was bad...lol!! read more

A kid puked next to us on the way to the restroom and even after knowing about it multiple employees walked by and over it at least 20 times (acknowledging the gross). We spent a decent amount of money ordering and were willing to pay until they let the puke sit for so long. I had to ask for our meal to be comped instead of them offering. The poor couple next to us were the only ones to make an immediate effort by covering it with napkins and some guy came by and put powder on it and quickly left. The salmon was like jerky and the shrimp Alfredo was suppose to had crab added on top but wasn't added and there was a puddle of water in the middle of the noodles which totally ruined the sauce. Couldn't get waited on in the bar so we moved to the restaurant. The same bar tender eventually waited on us. The restaurant wasn't full but it took 25 minutes to get our food. We shared the admirals feast. Rather than one plater, the food came out on various plates/trays. Some of it was cold. The ceiling tiles were missing, exposing wires. It's sad. This used to be one of my go to places. We haven't been since the last time we visited about a year ago. We decided to give red lobster a chance again, and again they failed us. We came in at about 9 o'clock, and didn't get our food until after 10 PM. When we got the foodVegetables were under cooked. The steaks were not the right temperature and the mashed potatoes were as cold as ice. The only reason I can give this to stars is because the server was trying hard. There were not many people in the restaurant and there are usually not very many people in this restaurant. Red lobster seems to have really gone downhill or this location has really gone downhill. It's literally been 20 years since we have been here. We decided to try it again for lobster fest. Extremely expensive! Pretty much $50 each for a lobster meal. I understand seafood is expensive. Service was a little slow. Our server was nice though. The meals we ordered looked good but, tasted like they were reheated from frozen. Salad was good. Biscuits are always the star here. $122 plus tip for two meals and a couple of beers in this area is too much. Wish we would have just went to Razzoos! I forgot to mention on top of the meals costing $50, to get a salad as a side you have to pay a $2 up charge. We are here Sunday for lunch first thing there were 3 girls at the front desk all seemed to be confused looking at the screen. We asked for a table for 2 was told 15 to 30 minutes which seemed to be there standard answer. Which seemed weird as I could see several empty tables. So we did get seated and our waiter came and took our drink order then when we were ready we gave him our order. Our appetizer came out it was just ok. Then we waited for about 20 minutes or more for our order to come out. Along with all the empty tables and the long way for food I am guessing they are understaffed. I saw that the endless shrimp added Crispy Dragon Shrimp, and Shrimp Rangoon. I was excited to try them but this location told me they were out of these two and the coconut shrimp. The three choices I selected were great, just a little disappointed that I didn't get to try the two new flavors. It's been a few years since we've been able to eat at Red Lobster and it was worth the wait. From the service, to the salad, to the entrees... everything was good. Even if they were short handed, the waiter was very attentive and kept our glasses filled. We're looking forward to coming back again. Special Note for patrons: People please remember that not every establishment has a full staff during this time. Be nice. Be kind. Be considerate. Making someone cry doesn't look good on you. May 19, 2024, last couple of visits were lacking in service and good food, but last evening was great. Food was great and tasty, service was excellent! Brenda was very attentive and nice. There's also a guy, Dakota, he was wonderful, even though he wasn't my server, he was everywhere, not a manager but better than a manager! He helped his fellow servers, speaking to everyone, making sure that you lacked nothing. He picked up dirty dishes, brought whatever was needed to make your experience the best. This was arguably the worst dining experience I have ever had the displeasure to be a part of. The server must have just learned how to walk because he was the slowest moving creature to ever work in a red lobster. Either that or he just didn't give a hoot about us specifically. BUT, by some unfortunate turn of events, the service was the best part of our whole time at Red Lobster because the food was room temperature garbage. The calamari was like deep fried bits of trash that they pulled out of the neighboring dumpster. The "Lobster" dip was literally just not lobster and seemed like it was made roughly 4 to 5 business days ago. The clam chowder tasted like something that you'd give to an obese cat because it was basically just a bowl of milk with chunks of potato in it. The only silver lining was that we had a gift card, so I didn't have to pay for this abomination of a meal. I never wish ill upon others, but every night for the rest of my life, I will pray that Red Lobster goes bankrupt again and doesn't crawl back out of the septic tank they belong in. read more

The food came out in a timely manner and everything was exactly right and cooked perfectly. In this day and age, we have lowered expectations due to lack of workers. Elijah was our server and exceeded expectations in every way. Took pride in doing a great job and very friendly and professional. It is hard to find good workers.
