Very poor customer service. The hostess doesn't smile or speak to anyone except to let everyone know after she took their name that here would be a 10-15 minute wait. She is not friendly or welcoming and you begin to wonder if you should have gone somewhere else to at. The parking lot was half empty as was the restaurant even though there was the wait. read more

I used to love Red Lobster but the last few times we've went the experience has been horrible. After last night we won't be going here again, we waited over an hour and a half after ordering our food for it to show up and when it did my grilled shrimp was cold like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for 20 minutes. Our waiter ran away from us. While we were eating our entrees we still did not get some of the drinks we ordered. My salad was drenched in dressing. The service was practically non existent. Food was average for red lobster. However it was pretty cold by the time it got to us. read more

The food was pretty good, what I would expect from a chain restaurant. Normally that is a 3 for me just what im expecting the average to be. This location gets the 4th star thanks to the great service from Ryan F our waiter. He did a great job explain menu options and the special for us and made reccomendations when we asked for them. He was attentive and took care of us the entire time. If you really like this kind of setting and food, stop by this location and ask for Ryan. You will be really happy with the service. read more

Had dinner here on a weeknight recently. Short wait to be seated. Hostess explained it was "Endless Shrimp" night so tables were turning over more slowly. Waited briefly at the very unusual "bar" area.... in the middle of the dining room, just feet from families enjoying their dinner. Bar should have some separation from the general dining room. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait long for our table. Friendly, efficient servers. Delicious warm biscuits were provided quickly. Menu offers many choices. Truly something to appeal to everyone. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything was delicious. Steak, lobster, shrimp (grilled and coconut), mashed potatoes, green beans, baked potato.... all delicious. Pricing very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. A great dining experience. Far exceeded my expectations of Red Lobster. Would definitely return again. read more

Went for dinner on Valentines knowing it would be busy, knowing we would have to wait. We were told it would be an hour wait which we were okay with. After an 1 1/2 hours we went in to see when we would be called and was told we had been on list for only 38 minutes. REALLY?!! I asked for a manager which did NOTHING but to say sorry you will have to wait, there are 7 people in front of you. Unbelievable!!!!! This has not been our first bad experience with this restaurant, but I guarantee it will be OUR LAST!!!! Others were shocked knowing we had been there way before them and made comments to us about how wrong it was. DONE! We will not be back ever!!!! They simply don't care, hope the business goes under for the fact (like I said, not first time) we've had problems but tonight was truly over the top HORRIBLE, no sorry, no understanding, NO ANYTHING!!! We left without waiting another.. who knows how long. No business can afford this kind of treatment, it will catch up to them sooner or later! read more

I want to start off by saying this is one of my favorite atmospheres as far as restaurants are concerned. I went to eat with my wife and decided to bring the kids along. There is always some sort of wait time, but don't fret because the food is as good as the commercials make it look. The food was great as i had a surf and turf dish and it was awesome( steak and lobster). The only thing I wish i could change is the laws in California. Our service was not exactly up to par, due to the breaks that workers are mandated to take. The first server did not even give us his name, and the second server was so polite that he failed to bother us after his short but sweet introduction. Although we only needed lemons it did not ruin dinner. I love you Red Lobster! I hate you California..... P.S. iif you have never tried a cheddar bay biscuit, it has got to be one of the seven wonders of the world.. hahahaha read more

I love Red Lobster! Especially when they have Endless shrimp every year around my birthday. However, when we moved here from LA there were only 2 Red Lobsters. For some odd reason we keep trying to come back thinking that it will be different this time. This Red Lobster is so small, so cramped, and wait times have never been under 1 hour! Just to get a table. If you go around normal dinner times. We cant go any other time because we have jobs lol. I am always so disappointed. read more

My husband and I eat at Red Lobster in Visalia on the average of every three months. We've always been happy with the food. The service at times is questionable, but the food has always been good until a few weeks ago. We went early on a Friday night, and the only thing that tasted good was the iced tea and biscuits. Both of us had salads and they tasted like they had been made the day before. The shrimp that my husband ate was some of the smallest shrimps we've ever seen. I ordered a single pork chop that couldn't be eaten because it was so undercooked. We also ordered two appetizers. Usually their cheese sticks are very good, but not this time. They looked and tasted like they had been frozen and then prepared quickly. They were horrible. We also tried their string beans which were a total waste of money. We both walked away from our meal totally dissatisfied with the entire meal that we spent over $60 on. We won't be back for a very, very long time. read more

Unfortunately our dining experience was not a very pleasant one. My first clue should have been the broken down case holding the lobster tank. This case is literally falling apart. After some time we were seated and the bench at our booth was wet. Our waiter was very nice and offered a towel. We placed our orders and things went down hill from there. My entree came before my soup. My daughter's entree was served without either of the dipping sauces described in the description of her dinner in the menu. My entree was cold. I mean really cold. I even had the waiter touch it. The broccoli was terrible. It obviously had been cooked way too long or much earlier and was reheated. The lobster bisque contained almost no lobster whatsoever. The waiter did remove my soup from the ticket. When my daughter found a long hair in here food we decided we were done. The strangest thing about the entire evening was the television playing cartoons. Seemed kind of strange to me for a somewhat upscale establishment. Bottom line... I feel like I was robbed out of $70. We will not be back. read more
