    Horrible Lobster Roll
    Roi F.

I haven't been to Red Lobster in years, and to be honest, it was never really my thing--even though I love seafood, especially lobster. I always found the quality to be lacking. However, after reading a lot about their new CEO and the improvements he was making, I decided to give it another shot. Lobster rolls are one of my favorite foods, so despite the steep price--$30 for takeout and $38 through Uber Eats--I was willing to try it. Big mistake. It was absolutely horrendous. No exaggeration, this was the worst lobster roll I have ever had. When I googled it, they claimed it was made with Maine lobster, but what I actually got was frozen spiny lagostino. Lagostino is NOT lobster, its cheap shrimp. The taste and texture were awful, and it was so bad that I couldn't even finish it. For that price, they should have used fresh Maine lobster--especially since they literally keep them in tanks for other dishes. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I can confidently say I will never eat at Red Lobster again.

We are in the downside of Covid and wanted some good food now that we are negative. We have always liked Red Lobster, but the last time we ate there we had a not so positive experience. It was well before the pandemic started, so because the Fiancé wanted Lobster, we chose to give it a try again, albeit curbside pickup. We looked over the menu, and notice quite a few pleasant changes. Everything was done on time, and looked pretty good without opening the tubs, I chose the wagyu burger, ordered medium, she got the harborside feast. Most items were good, but the 2 we wanted to be great, the most expensive, were not. My burger was cooked medium well, extremely dry and charred on the edge, and her lobster was absolutely charred through the bottom, something you could not tell looking at the tail from the split top side. It looked really good. Unfortunately, this again had cast a doubt on wether we will ever give this establishment another go around. I gave 2 stars for the cheddar bay biscuits, her shrimp skewer and scampi, the timeliness of the order being ready and the very nice team member who brought out our food. She was very polite.

Only bad red lobster I've been to. Crab legs were way over cooked and crusty. Couldn't eat them.

The food is pretty good. I notice different red lobster foods seem to be a tad different. This one happens to be one of the good ones.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

Prices are on the lower side but the special also cuts back on portion size. Not complaining just making everyone aware. On my last visit the waitress could have been a little more upbeat. Once ordered the food came out pretty promptly but, in my opinion, could have been done better. Ordering eggs sometimes vary from what you expect to what you receive. My main issue was with the hash browns. I understand that I like my hash browns more crispy but these crossed the line. They were put on the griddle but weren't left there very long. They had a few darker spots but some of the potato in the center were still half raw. Lots of hard surfaces and everything appeared clean. As I said they've been there a while so atmosphere is homey. Not a bad place to have breakfast. It's not one of my favorites but I will go back.

Went in and ordered fish with salad and baked potato...... ranch dressing was bubbly and warm so I was scared to eat that... fish was just bad.... Was told it was 12 ounces... they must weigh it after they batter it. Was told it was cod... I don't think so... wasn't white enough and the batter and fish wasn't cooked enough. The oil was probably too hot, that's why the outside was brown but the inside was doughy. You could actually still see some of the orange color to the batter. Not crispy at all...The baked potato was good. I peeled all the batter off, ate the fish and the potato, then saw what appeared to be a grayish eyebrow hair on the bottom of my plate.. that sealed the deal... the guy cooking with the salt and pepper hair and afternoon shadow beard needs to put a damn hairnet on his head and face so it doesn't end up on the plate. I almost puked. The only thing good about this experience was the waitress... she was apologetic and nice..I felt bad for her. You really have to know what you're doing to have good hand, battered fish and chips and it's quite obvious, the cook that was shedding on my plate hasn't figured that out yet....
