12oz. Rib Eye

TLDR: do yourself a favor and get the potato skins. Soooooo good. Came in on a rainy Thursday night, staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Service was very quick and the food was so delicious, we may just have to come back during our stay. It's a bar, so just keep that in mind. The house salad had olíves/mushrooms which I wasn't the biggest fan of, but the garlic toast + french fries made up for it. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and arrived quickly. So happy we stopped by, thank you for having us!

Very cool restaurant! I was absolutely amazed on how they renovated the firehouse! When we were there it wasn't packed but it had a decent amount of people there. The staff was friendly and very attentive. If I lived in Seattle I would come every week and work my way through the menu! Everything in it looked good to me Thank you McCoys! Hope to see you again soon!

Food, prices and service all five stars! Try the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger- trust me, it's bomb. So happy we found this little gem on our visit, we will for sure be back tomorrow to try some more, everything was delicious.

Daily special.

The proprietor was a delight! We enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the history of this building. You want character? You got it. We were having a late lunch so we shared wings and nachos. He let us try the popper sauce (a spicy grape jelly sauce) and the sweet chili on the side, plus blue cheese! All were great. The nachos were a little brown but flavorful. We had the option of adding in-house smoked brisket, but we didn't want to overdo. The beer was ice-cold! Overall we were quite happy.

7/29/23- arrived for the first day and were walking around scoping out places to eat. Lots of different choices in the area. This place was a little of the grid and the place was packed. The menu had many items to choose from with affordable prices. Service was slow because it appeared there was just 1 cook and the waiter was the bartender as well. Well worth the wait. Good tasting food and nice size portions. 4 stars. Ordered a cheeseburger, Philly cheese sandwich and a club sandwich. Checkout the photos. Lastly, great place to tribute any fire department persons. Many items used to honor them.

I get that when a restaurant gets busy, the staff will have their hands full. However, waiting around for 15-20 minutes is kinda ridiculous.

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

It's nice to watch the staff cook because it tells you that the food is fresh. I have high expectations for seafood in Seattle. However, I was disappointed with the scallops as it tasted raw and cool to the touch in the center. I'm not a scallop expert but this one missed the mark - the flavors were off with the sauce (tasted earthy). Presentation and color looked good, but this didn't taste good. Also came here breakfast several times. I don't have pictures, but each time the breakfast was amazing!

I am so grateful for my experience at Life On Mars. It turned out to be the highlight of a…read moretumultuous Seattle trip and I look back on it fondly. We came here mostly for one thing: I absolutely could not wait for their gluten-free vegan chick'n pot pie. A pie i'd been waiting months to try. A pie unlike any other pie. A pie that I still think about to this day. We walked straight into a Cardi B drag show. And by "walked into" I mean we opened the door and Hot Pink Shade sashayed right in front of us. It was exactly the kind of welcome we love. It was also the first green flag in a sea of green flags at Life On Mars. I could barely sit still as I waited to order my GF/VG pot pie. We got the drinks outta the way (a peach hard cider for me and a fancy-schmancy cocktail for the lady). I was positively GIDDY when Anna came to take our order and I blurted out chick'n pot pie excitedly. I nearly died when she said they didn't have any. Normally it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was from out of town and had literally been craving this damn pie for months! And I lied, I didn't nearly die but I DID nearly cry and that's almost as bad. Even the bestie lamented about what a let down this was. Anna. Dear, sweet Anna. We must have looked really hard up because this sweet baby angel offered to ask the cooks if they could whip one up special just for me. Let me tell you why this is a big deal: For one, she didn't need to do that. That's going above and beyond, and she was such a graceful little buttercup when she did it. Second, making a gluten free biscuit is a finicky, precise, detailed process. It sucks, honestly, and I don't blame them for not having them every day. I nearly cried when she came back and told us the cooks said YES. And this time i'm not lying. It was beyond the type of customer service i'm used to. It was.... humane. It was...empathetic. It was...totally first world problems but it meant so much to me! Especially since Anna said it had been a DAY and she was at her wits end. For her to have a rough day and still have the grace and compassion to make my stupid GF/VG chick'n pot pie dreams come true.....well, yeah, it made me a bit teary eyed. The pot pie was delicious, as expected. It was nostalgic and comforting, like a big hug in a bowl. The flavors were rich and deep, the biscuit soft and flaky; it was one of the most delicious things i've tasted on my GF/VEG journey. Between the food, the drinks, the customer service and the drag show......this was five stars all around. No doubt. I don't see the GF chick'n pot pie on their menu anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I hope it comes back, i'll be checking. And when it pops up again, so will I. Thank you, Anna. Thank you to the cooks on 2/19/26. Thank you to Hot Pink Shade, ISIS and King Leo Mane.

Outsiders has a solid smoky, flavorful bbq for sure! I had the burnt ends which were pleasantly fatty, as they should be. The fries were crispy and not greasy.
