The girl working the register was very kind, very patient and extremely helpful. Thank you for making our experience great and also great recommendations.

IG: @allysxn.eats pretty heavy meal but super tasty! i like the lomo saltado plate, and it usually lasts me at least 2-3 meals. the side sauce is super tasty and makes a big difference in the flavor of the dish!

Food is great, however the cashier needs to work on her customer service. My first time coming here. I asked one question about the difference in their burritos and she visibly got upset. Slow blinking and a condescending tone. Description: on the younger side, black hair, and black long sleeve shirt. Time: 8:01pm. Edit: random pink dot on a stem? Feels like plastic. Not sure what it could be.

Ordered food online and went to pick up. Was disappointed that I paid for steak and onions. Flavor was good. A bit too salty, but I bet it would have went well with all the other condiments that were supposed to go in it. I was in a rush, being on my lunch break so I didn't double check my order. Disappointed.

Red Panka is bringing traditional Peruvian dishes to the area while inviting new people with tacos and burritos (filled with Peruvian meats). I was excited to find this gem while at an appt at Loma Linda. I'm sad I didn't find this sooner. There's space to sit down and have lunch, it's an order at the counter type place. It's clean and the decor is a mix of fun and traditional. As a business, I think they've done great to introduce the area to Peruvian food. & Customer service was good. Now the food: we tried most of the menu! To start we tried the papa ala huancaina, a cold potato dish served with a creamy spicy cheese sauce on top. The flavor was great, it's a simple dish. If you want it spicier, you can always ask for the aji verde, green hot sauce. We also had the causa, it's a layered cold appetizer dish made with a spicy, lime mashed potato layer, layer of chicken salad and avocado, another layer of the potatoes. They topped theirs with mayo and chopped tomatoes. I loved the mashed potato, it was perfect. I do wish there was more chicken. Also it would have been nice to have less mayo on top and maybe avocado on top too. This is commonly served with salsa criolla, pickled red onion, that would have been good as well. One thing they excel at is how they treat their beef. The bistec and the lomo were incredible. The meat was so tender and flavorful. They definitely don't cheap out on the cut of meat and it was very appreciated. The flavors of the lomo saltado and camaron saltado were on point, loved the soy sauce flavor. This is a stir fried beef dish with tomatoes, onion and French fries. My only complaint was that the French fries used in the dish seemed old. The tallarines verde is a creamy Peruvian pesto pasta. It was good but I wished there was a little more basil flavor. I would definitely order again! The platanos and yuca were also very good. I can't wait to come back and try their ceviche and arroz chaufa.

We stopped by today for lunch because we were in the area. The reviews were really good so we wanted to give it a try! I ordered the beef lomo saltado plate. It was delicious! I was even able to take some home for leftovers. The gentleman at the front was very kind and helpful. We will for sure be coming back!

    Panka bowl with grilled shrimp

Think of a better version Chipotle, but with Peruvian flavors and the color scheme of Jimmy Johns, then you've got Red Panka. Bowls, burritos, tacos, and salads, all packed with flavorful sauces, Red Panka is a great option for when you want something fast, but don't want to feel guilty afterwards. I got the shrimp Panka bowl and thought the aji sauce had a decent kick. They also include a pretty generous drizzle on top, so if you're slightly sauce-averse like myself, consider asking for it on the side. My bowl was a little lacking on the amount of shrimp, but they were well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Next time I might ask for more lettuce and less rice, to meet my preferences. They offer 2 types of bowls which have the same base (romaine lettuce, rice--white or brown, and beans--black or pinto) but the Panka style features a corn salsa vs the Peruvian style which has sautéed tomato and red onion. A surprisingly amount of variety for pescatarian and and vegetarian options here (ceviche, shrimp, tofu saltado, quinoa salads, plantains, etc). Don't expect much in terms of ambiance, but the food will keep you coming back for more.

Our waitress has on break, but this was communicated well and rhe other staff stepped in until she returned. We got a mix of drinks and food and loved every sip and bite. I will say the serving sizes are not what I'm used to for a Mexican restaurant but not tiny, around 2 to 3 tacos per plate. I got the birra tacos and I do wish they would have had a side but it wasn't a huge issue. Now the music for the elephant in the room. It was very loud in the small space. I would say club level, which is a lot for a dining experience. It didn't take away too much, just made talking hard. Another summer specific thing to point out, it is not the standard California A/c situation. We were in not way dying of heat, but it was warm. The day's temperature was around 102° so that of course was taken into account. If you have a group of friends that need some yummy food, this is your spot. Just maybe not a 1st date location, OR the perfect 1st date place

Although their prices are high, $16 for a torta, it's usually worth it, because their portions are quite generous. Earlier today, I ordered a torta to go, and I ended up extremely disappointed when I got home. It had literally half the meat, half the beans, and half the cheese that it normally does. This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong. It's very childish to do a subpar job and then get upset and frustrated when you're called on it. An adult apologizes and pledges to not blow it again. Anyhow, I don't tolerate disrespectful people so I'm done. I won't spend another penny there.

The portions are generous, with serve-your-own Pickled Onions, Jalapeños and Salsas on the counter. On this visit, I had the BZ Torta which is their signature Carnitas Torta cradled in their pillowy-soft Telera Bread. An incredible sandwich! The harmonious textures and flavors of the Bread, Vegetables and Carnitas danced with every bite. My cousin ordered the Fish Tacos and inhaled it like it was his last meal!
