I don't normally write negative reviews immediately after eating at an establishment however this one takes the cake. I noticed how people visiting from places like LA, Chicago an New York left extremely high marks how the pizza here compared to the cities they had lived or visited. I don't know if these people actually lived in these places or they were fake accounts but I was certainly decieved. I recently moved back from Chicago looking for a decent pizza that valued the 3 components of a good pizza: 1. The Sauce. 2. The Crust. 3. The Cheese. Upon opening the box I noticed ingredients that were sparingly scattered across the top. I immediately became suspicious. Upon biting into the first slice it was immediately apparent there was little to no pizza sauce, a travesty in Italian culture. I will not be eating here again. This pizza should be renamed cheese bread. Obviously my photos of the pizza drastically differ from those posted by the ownership. I've been here MANY times over the years, as it's VERY close to my home in nearby Deniston Park. I really love the spinach pizza here (extra garlic on mine, please!), but the red pepper and mushroom one (extra onions!) is AMAZING as well. It came cold and then they decided to gaslight me and tell me that the cold pizza I received was not in fact cold. I received a call from someone, Sam? That identified himself as the owner and said he'd give me a full refund. 6 days later and still no refund. Simply for telling me I was wrong about the pizza being cold and then lying about a refund earned them negative stars. The food being good got them one back. In town for a mini vacation and tried here. It was a very solid pizza choice, and they are open late. I ordered something that was on their site, but not on the menu, and it was good (called mega meat, or something like that).... It was like a meat lovers, but also had gyro meat (don't think was supposed to have chicken, but mine had that too). I'm very picky with pizza, and to me this was very tasty. I also got the cinnamon bread and it was thicker and softer than most places do, which made it taste so much better. The best part for this was the price. I paid under $20 and got that medium pizza and the dessert, which seems very good compared to the other pizza places around where our air BNB was located at. What really makes this my now go to place is that they are always prompt. I saw raving reviews on this. Staff was fantastic. Ordering online was easy and fast. I did pickup and it was in and out. Parking sort of stinks when there is traffic. I was told to get the calzone. Let me tell you. It's large and looks very pretty! Their sauce is homemade and authentic so it's not like marinara in a jar. It was all good enough and the service was great but I think I had higher expectations for the sauce and the calzone. I will certainly try it again and give my thoughts. Everyone's taste is different so I will say it is quality and you can tell that. They also included plates, napkins, silverware which was nice. Wow, what a difference this last meal of ours was from the first. The biggest hit of our meal, one word, Calzone! The Large "All meat", stuffed full with layer upon layer of flavorful pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella. Crust was beautiful, like a work of art -- basted and buttery, thin, crispy, perfect. It's the best calzone I've had in the metro to date. Cheese bread was also very good, thick with gooey mozzarella cheese, as much of it as I've ever seen. Pizza sauce dip was delicious, true and not sugary, rich with herbs and spices. We also tried their Greek Pizza, pretty good flavor, tasty pizza sauce. But I might prefer strips of gyro meat. If going pizza, their specialty pies are definitely the way to go. But as for me, I'm happy I just found my new go-to calzone spot in this area of town. Family owned and operated, they get very busy here, so take notice of the bell on the counter. Parking out front is a bit tight and watch out backing into traffic. Oh man - we were looking for a late night spot that delivers to the Ambassador hotel and we came across this gem. It was probably 1am and we were sure there wouldn't be any place open besides Taco Bell. Thank god we were wrong - the staff was super friendly on the phone even though I was pretty flipping drunk and I can only imagine the slurring that was going on. I got a medium calzone (way too big) and my wife got a small cheese pizza (still way too big) we had like 10 delicious bites before we fell asleep with full bellies. Needing something late night and cheap, they stood out amont the options so I ordered online in an easy process. I unfortunately had a tough night and couldn't pick up my order until 45 minutes past the ready time and upon arrival they were so nice and told me they were keeping my food warm for me, and left me with a smile. I find it interesting when you go into a business and you aren't greeted, but just looked at and the person waits for you to speak.
