That said, even if it was a bit sweet for me, the pickled greens balanced it out a bit, and the crunch was pretty nice. Came with a pleasant tasting broth too.

DO NOT COME HERE!! I've been coming here for years. I keep giving this place a chance. The 2 old Lady's that are owners there always disrespect me. Also they are really WELL KNOWN for ripping people off on prices of plates. They have a menu made up of pictures and no prices. Tonight i was their last customer. The younger lady comes and gives me a menu with no prices at all just pictures. I ask how much each plate was.....in khmer. I order a shrimp and ka tiew special. She gives me a nasty plate of undercooked fried shrimp and has me sit there.... She doesnt say a word to me or ask me i need anything.. By the time the place closes. NOT ONE person asked me if i needed anything. So im like wheres the rest of my food? She says oh i didn't understand english.. She also said she didnt get my order because i was asking for TOO MANY PRICES! That was the excuse. Another thing is these women here. All of them say the nastiest, lowest, perverted things in Khmer!! thinking i don't understand. And because I'm young, they patronize me and its relentless bullying when i go in there. I feel like a piece of crap when i leave. I think it comes down to me being young and spending money. IS IT JEALOUSY? the old women that work there seems to have a problem with me., they feel the need to put a young person down? No respect at all. I pay them all the time. What do i get? Rudeness and bullying. TOTAL DISRESPECT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Food is mediocre. They're out for your money only! Not the quality and time and professionalism. Hands down, best Cambodian resturant in Lowell. Yes, the service needs upgrading, but being Khmer - we're used to them not checking up on us and bringing the tab to our table. The ladies are used to my family by now, everytime we order they know exactly how my son loves his Me-Ka-Thang (eggs only, no vegggie or meat). I do hope they can improve in their service with the more "MODERN" style; with food flavoring like that, they can open an even bigger resturant and atrract more customers who will eat good, and pay good. read more
