My partner and I have dined here a couple of times. The first time was great which is why we decided to return to this restaurant every time we are in town. However, after our last visit, I'm not so sure we will be coming back. We dined here in a Thursday evening during parents weekend so it was a little busy. However, the service was subpar and my steak was even worse. The oyster Rockefeller was delicious and arrived in a timely matter as did our Caesar salad. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my steak. My filet arrived severely undercooked and upon delivery, the server saw that when he asked me to cut it to check the temperature and took it back so it could be fixed. I asked for it medium and it arrived rare. It took a while for it to come back to my table and when it did it was well done and dry with crispy edges. I'm still confused about how a steakhouse could mess up on the one thing that they're known for. If you're looking for upscale dining with good food in College Station, I would look elsewhere.

Hotel restaurants are a hit or miss and this is a wonderful fine dining restaurant in College Station. I had a 1/2 bottle of champagne, the calamari and went for a special off menu....the 16oz bone in veal chop and it was everything my mouth was craving. Tender, juicy, and savored every bite. This 100lb girl ate ALL of it!

This Chic upscale steakhouse was amazing. I loved the hip fives with the classic steakhouse feel. I really enjoyed my steak and the dessert was really good too. It's a great place to catch up with friends. I really had great service as well. Highly recommend. If people want it to be more of a slower Pace casual, I would suggest going early for dinner.

Very quiet atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff. The inside is decorated beautifully. This is the perfect spot for a date night. The steak was pretty good and cooked to my expectations. Overall, I would revisit.

For this level of dining, I will judge harshly. We came in for a nice dinner before my sister's start to the semester. My family has come once before and liked it but this experience was sub par. For an appetizer we got the shrimp cocktail. It was overcooked and chewy. I really enjoyed the cornbread they served however. For the mains, we shared a ribeye, the scallop special with risotto, the bone in pork chop, and sides of green beans and mac n cheese. The scallops were overcooked which is incredibly disappointing. Not only that, it came with "3 scallops" but to me it seemed like 1.5 that had been cut horizontally to make more pieces. Not sure, however incredibly pricey for sad seafood. The risotto was also overwhelmingly sweet. I liked the pork chop, it was tender and a good portion. It came with mashed potatoes and overly charred Brussels sprouts. This was also overall a bit sweet but the best entree in my opinion that we had. The ribeye was very bland. The mac n cheese was very creamy and was good but quite heavy. The green beans were cooked with a bit of bacon but overall lacked seasoning. Overall, all the dishes were served lukewarm in our opinion. The seafood was all overcooked and there was a lack of seasoning/too much sweetness all around. I recommend the corn bread and that's about it. Maybe it was a bad cooking day or something but for that price point, it would not be worth going to again for me.

My family came here for thanksgiving dinner and it did not disappoint. The food was flavorful and the steaks were seasoned well. The cornbread was some of the best I've ever tasted. The waiter was attentive and we had zero complaints with any of our food. Overall this restaurant checked all the boxes for a 5/5 dining experience. I highly Recommend.

We initially had problems with bacon being put in to our order and we do not eat pork. The manager was able to promptly resolve our problem. We've been loyal customers here and we look forward to coming back. The backyard ambiance was good and we were able to listen to the live music on the green

My third visit. Beautiful restaurant, perfectly located. Food experience in the past has been good. This time I tried the burger and sadly was very disappointed. Too fancy of a burger, multiple conflicting flavors and so wet that the bun was soggy by the end - not recommended.

    Sea bass

I ordered the sea bass dish. It looked pretty. The carrots and Brussel sprouts were delicious. But the sea bass was not fresh with bad smell. I could only eat one bite and couldn't tolerate it anymore. This wasn't the first time I had this problem. Last time, I ordered scallops special and they were not fresh and smelled, too. With this price, they should not offer such low-quality food. It's not even safe.

We ordered a family meal (20 pieces), 2 sides of fries and a chicken sandwich meal. We paid around $40. Great value! The food came out quick and arrived hot and fresh. I had a slight "issue" where I thought my chicken wasn't fully cooked and the manager reassured me that it was just breading but happily remade my sandwich to give me peace of mind. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, literally leaving "not a fry left behind." The size of my chicken on the sandwich was HUGE- had to be hanging off the roll by 2" on each side! Staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Love the laid back decor. My wife got mac n cheese with hers and really enjoyed every bite. The cashier was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is great for a lunch or dinner date. I used to live around Hempstead, Prairie view and Waller a couple years ago when I first came to Texas and it was kinda hard finding good places to eat ' I'm not gonna lie I was scouring yelp for about 30 mins before I stumbled across Burger House. I even got to the point where I asked some locals and they said Burger House was a burger staple in C station. Upon looking at the photos, it seemed like a burger that you make at the house to be candid. When I pulled up, I was like "oh wow this place look like a straight shack that's fasho." I decided to go through the drive-through & when I pulled up to the drive-through the gentleman who took my order was hella welcoming and just overall nice like he was happy I pulled up. I swear I was the highlight of my visit. I ended up getting the combo , bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink, and it was for decent price too. The burger itself was mediocre if I'm being honest, the meat lacked some seasoning, though the fries were pretty decent with a soft inside, light crisp outside. I like the fact they put the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on the side instead of in the burger which can make it soggy. So there was some attention to detail. The Bun though? That thang was soft on the outside and was lightly toasted on the inside, which was dope. Would I be back? If I'm being honest, just to say wasup to the gentlemen who took my order and that's about it!
