    Kale salad with salmon.

Fried polenta was good. Need more mushrooms. Fried chicken sandwich was so dry and bland I asked for some melted butter and hot sauce and to no avail. They only carry chula hot sauce and didn't have melted butter. No hot honey either. I just couldn't eat it. It was so dry. The fries were cold upon arrival to table. You can tell the fries are not fresh and just been sitting there Returned the plate. The kale salad was nothing special. . Salmon was also dry. Wait staff was busy. Not worth the money they charge.

Amazing nachos, great vibes for after skiing a long day! Service was okay, but the food made up for it.

Red Tail Grill was the first restaurant we went to as soon as we arrived. Simple American food. My friend and I shared the Steak Sandwich and Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The Chicken Sandwich was so good, I really did not want to share it after taking a bite. I usually like steak more than chicken, but I definitely recommend the chicken over the steak at Red Tail Grill. Crispy, Crunchy, and flavorful! Other things to know: Convenient location by the Gondolas. Friendly attentive server! Choice of house water, distilled water, sparkling water!

Good food, great apres ski place at the canyons. We tried many different things on the menu but the fried chicken sandwich...is the absolutely the best one to try if you are in the mood!

Solid spot on the mountain for some food. Service was friendly and accommodated us with a 30 minute wait in the early afternoon. They had indoor and outdoor seating. 1. Spicy chicken sandwich - Comes grilled and not breaded like Chik-fil-A. Good portion and hit the spot. Comes with a bunch of jalapenos as well to give it a kick. Overall, great spot to come to for food on the mountain during lunchtime or whenever they're open.

Their burger is amazing!!!! Flavor is great and love that it's two patty's. Nachos are really good for appetizer. They also have a great chili. Caesar salad was delicious. Staff is so nice!

While staying in Canyons Village, we decided to have lunch here. We've been once years ago because of its convenient location and didn't recall disliking the place, so why not go back again. We were seated 5 minutes after arriving. The place isn't too big and the seating is a bit squished together, but luckily the place wasn't full so we got a booth. Since we had our toddler with us, we asked for a booster chair and were so glad that they actually had them! Our server was Brooke and she was very nice and pretty attentive for majority of our meal. It did get a little busy towards the end, so did take a few minutes to get our bill. Everyone was very friendly that we encountered. We order the chicken tenders and fries for the toddler. It was a really big portion for a 2 yr old but perfect for an older kid. Toddler had 1 1/2 strips and majority of the fries and I had 2 strips. We still left one untouched. They weren't thick, dry or heavily breaded and had pretty good taste to them. The hubster ordered the wings appetizer as his meal with a side order of fries. We soon realized we could have all shared my side fries and the toddlers. It was a nice portion. The wings were 8 pieces and husband seemed to have enjoyed them. They had a dry rub, but came with a side of sauce and a good portion of veggies. I ordered the carnita tacos and they were great. Would have been amazing with a little more of the cilantro cream sauce because they were a little too dry but the carnitas tasted amazing. My toddler pretty much 1/2 of the carnitas from my 3rd taco. They are decent sized in flour tortillas so 2 was enough for me, especially with the side of fries. All in all, we had good tasting food, service was great, and I'm sure we'll be back next time we're in Park City.

Convenient location. The restaurant is connected to the Grand Summit Hotel. There was a 20 minute wait to be seated. The nachos were pretty good and very cheesy. We also got some chili and a quinoa bowl. Average/good food. Decent service. Pricey, but that is expected since it is the first restaurant at the base of the mountain.

The Utah elk with huckleberry jam was a standout, such a unique and well-balanced combination. The elk ragu was also amazing, super rich and full of flavor. I loved that they source locally. It really shows and makes the whole meal feel even more special. The presentation of each plate was beautiful. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and everything felt intentional and well seasoned. I also really appreciated how they handled dietary needs. The menu clearly labels gluten-free and dairy-free options, which made it easy to navigate without any guesswork. Our waitress was attentive and gave great recommendations throughout the night. Even though it's located in a strip mall, don't let that deter you. The interior has a modern, elevated feel, and the easy parking is honestly a huge bonus. We ended with the strawberry apple tart and the brownie sundae, and both were fantastic.

Thankfully we made reservation and were seated right away. The two of us shared the creamy Baked Brie for appetizer which was pretty good. Hubby got the Double Wide Pork Chop, and I opted for the Colorado Bison Bavette. Very nice presentation on the entrees but too salty. We found the saltiness overwhelmed the flavor on both dishes.

Maybe I was extra hungry from boarding (I didn't feel extra hungry) or maybe I had on vacation goggles...but this is one of my favorite meals I've had. We split the elk crepe, squash salad, and beef cheek bourguignon. It was the perfect amount of food to split between two people and it was all so so delicious. The elk reminded me of boudin (one of my favorite dishes) and the bourguignon was fantastic. It was served over mashed potatoes and used oyster mushrooms. Really inspiring. We were so perfectly full after dinner we didn't even get dessert. But if a crème brûlée had been on the menu I wouldn't have been able to say no. Seriously if you're in Park City I can't imagine a better meal. Everything and three drinks cost ~$150 and my boyfriend and I felt like we made out like robbers.

The halibut was OUTSTANDING; the beef cheeks extremely tender and my husband LOVED THEM! Worth the cost, and just behind the West Gate!

In terms of attire, it's a mixed bag as with other places here.. we were pretty casual but some were dressed up a bit more. Our server was wonderful, and the food and drink was phenomenal. This was, hands down, the best meal we had in Park City. We started with cocktails. The gin cocktail I had was the perfect combination of floral and citrus and left me wanting more. My husband enjoyed his as well. The wine menu here is insanely overpriced, so next time I'd ask the corkage fee to consider bringing our own bottle. They brought out a bread that was cooked with a Japanese seasoning on it and a side of butter, and it was delicious. The bison was the best thing we ate; incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, if we lived here we would be back often for this. The elk was very good as well, with fresh herbs that helped bring out the flavor. Can't go wrong with either of these dishes but the bison was the star to us. My daughter ordered the kids pasta with butter and parm, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers which came with potato wedges. Both were a good portion for children. For the sides, we ordered the Japanese sweet potatoes and the fried rice. The sweet potatoes were something different and were tasty but not our favorite or something we would order again. The fried rice with egg was delicious; it was full of sliced garlic and amazingly seasoned, we could not help but finish it all. At the time of the check, our server offered cotton candy for the kids. It was very flavorful and soft. It was a nice finishing touch. We'll definitely be booking this restaurant for our next trip to Park City.

The spicy tuna on top was really flavorful and well balanced, bringing just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The miso soup was also a pleasant surprise -- the portion size was generous and perfect for sharing. It was warm, comforting, and a great start to the meal. We also ordered the karaage. Unfortunately, this was the weakest dish for me. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor, and if it weren't for the dipping sauce it would have been quite bland. It was also made with dark meat, which I'm personally not a big fan of. The hamachi nigiri was fantastic. The fish tasted incredibly fresh and clean, and the simplicity of the dish really let the quality of the hamachi shine. Another standout was the Wasatch roll -- a true dynamite roll with lots of flavor and fresh hamachi. Every bite had great texture and balance. To end the meal, everyone was given a small bowl of cotton candy, which was a fun and unexpected touch. I hadn't had cotton candy in years, and it was a playful way to finish the night. Overall, there were some great highlights, especially the sushi and fresh fish, and the experience had a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

The service here was fine.. nothing noteworthy. We ordered cocktails, but did not care for them. The duck was unique, but it was a very small portion of meat. This meal is mostly bread and veggies in sauce with small pieces of duck (think pulled pork). The Cacio e Pepe was shockingly expensive and insulting for this pasta dish. For that price we were expecting a large dish with a wow factor, but it actually lacked flavor. For parents with children, I will also note that this is not a convenient place to come with small children. If you want to go to the restroom you need to leave the restaurant and go outside and across a hall to a more public restroom (it was clean), which is less than convenient with little kids. They don't have a kids menu either, it's just verbal, but they did have a few basic options (my kids had pasta).

Genuinely the worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant…read more Let me start with the fact that I've only ever left 5 star reviews at restaurants because of great service. I work in the restaurant industry, so I really appreciate good service and I always tip well, and I take reviews seriously. We confirmed ahead of time that Sammy's could seat our party of ten -- they said "just come." On top of that, their Google profile said they were animal friendly, so I assumed my service animal would be well received. When we arrived with most of our group and the rest just minutes away, we were immediately seated. But then things fell apart. After being seated, we were told we shouldn't have been seated until our full party arrived -- despite the staff being the ones who seated us. When we asked if Emilia wanted us to stand back up and wait in the lobby, she said no, don't worry about it. Yet we felt like a burden the entire meal. The staff seemed frustrated with us rather than accommodating. To make matters worse, my chicken parm -- which they tout as their most famous dish -- arrived cold and watery. I ended up replacing it with the kids' chicken nuggets, which ironically tasted far better. The biggest issue was our server, Emilia. She repeatedly shamed me for having my service animal -- a trained epilepsy detection dog who was quiet, well-behaved, and doing exactly what he's trained to do: staying by my side. I was stunned and humiliated. On top of all that, they refused to split the check for a party of ten -- a completely standard request. When I asked to speak with a manager, Emilia said they weren't available and that she would be talking to them about my service animal. Management, please reach out if you want to make this right. I felt singled out and humiliated. I won't be back, and I'd encourage anyone with a service animal to think twice before dining here.
