First time coming here and I was very impressed. Food was delicious, it is a good amount and everything tasted so fresh. I ended up getting their chicken salad that had some lemon vinaigrette. The skin on the chicken was so flavorful with a little crispiness. But the chicken itself was so tender it was delicious. Everything in my salad paired well together, there was beets and feta cheese. Hummus and pita sticks were delicious. Although the pita bread and hummus ratio is off. Would have wanted more pita bread for how much hummus is given. We are at Vessel on our last night in Park City and what a treat it was! The restaurant was clean and smelled amazing as soon as we opened the door. I got the Med with chicken and my husband had the trout dish. My kid had the beef with Mac and cheese and we had a side of hummus and pita. Once our food arrived, the owner was concerned about the size of my husbands trout so he brought him another helping - not necessary but whoa... what amazing service. The trout was a little fishy per my husband but otherwise amazing. My dish was great. The pita and hummus were so tasty! My kids dinner was also amazing. Fresh: everything, according to the imprinted wall in the front, is as locally sourced as possible:from cheese in Heber to veggies in Mona. Delicious: one must know that I won't rave about any food unless it exceeds average in grandiose proportions. Superb beef - ask for the slices you prefer: more rare? No problem. Sweet potatoes with onions? Yum. This combo will make you a veggie lover! Tomatoes with a yogurt sauce? Sounded odd, yet interesting, and yum! The price point of this dinner, yes, dinner was $12. What? Crazy, right? Sure, if you are dining here for lunch it sounds pricey but this is dinner proportions. Seriously, in another PC establishment, this would easily be $32. You've just saved $20! This is NOT fast food, yet the line style is similar to say Chipotle. Order you items, pay at the end. And you can buy Kambucha. And beer. (Yes, there is an IPA listed.) Everything here is made fresh with lots of herbs and spices. The staff was friendly and welcoming and food hot. I opted for the braised beef, corn (served cold) and mashed potatoes. While the corn was good, it would have been better to my liking if it had been hot. Wanted to try something new so I wandered into this place with a friend. Wow! So much more than I thought! I had trouble making up my mind but ultimately settled on the hash hash. Turned out to be a great choice! The food tasted great and didn't leave me feeling heavy like a lot of other places. The stainless steel water cups were interesting too. They had real silverware which felt like a treat after using plastic at so many other places. Not to mention it's better for the environment! I'd definitely come here again! The concept is such that you can assemble a taco, bowl, or salad from a selection of freshly-prepared vegetable-driven toppings. I ordered a bowl for $10.50 and selected my three toppings: sweet potato hash, roasted Brussels sprouts, and Caesar roasted broccoli. I also added pickled red onions on top, and had an additional side of carrot salad. I sat at my table and my dish was delivered in on ceramic plate with a cloth napkin and metal silverware. I appreciated that they used real cloth napkins and silverware. Taste-wise I loved my meal. Each of the sides was so flavorful and filling! I don't usually take leftovers home, but I simply couldn't finish the remaining 45%, which was perfect because getting two meals out of one is even more of a great deal. I also want to note that I was there with my brother, who eats a very meat-heavy diet, my mother, who prefers a vegan diet, and we each found delicious things and none of us felt like we had to compromise our individual tastes. The chicken and grains were very good and flavorful, definitely my favorite! The spicy Fresno mango slaw was amazing on it! The braised beef was tender and very good. The Brussel sprouts were the perfect combo of spicy and crispy. The cashew Caesar broccoli had good flavor but the broccoli was a little under cooked and the pieces were large and hard to cut.
