First time coming here and I was very impressed. Food was delicious, it is a good amount and everything tasted so fresh. I ended up getting their chicken salad that had some lemon vinaigrette. The skin on the chicken was so flavorful with a little crispiness. But the chicken itself was so tender it was delicious. Everything in my salad paired well together, there was beets and feta cheese. Hummus and pita sticks were delicious. Although the pita bread and hummus ratio is off. Would have wanted more pita bread for how much hummus is given. We are at Vessel on our last night in Park City and what a treat it was! The restaurant was clean and smelled amazing as soon as we opened the door. I got the Med with chicken and my husband had the trout dish. My kid had the beef with Mac and cheese and we had a side of hummus and pita. Once our food arrived, the owner was concerned about the size of my husbands trout so he brought him another helping - not necessary but whoa... what amazing service. The trout was a little fishy per my husband but otherwise amazing. My dish was great. The pita and hummus were so tasty! My kids dinner was also amazing. Fresh: everything, according to the imprinted wall in the front, is as locally sourced as possible:from cheese in Heber to veggies in Mona. Delicious: one must know that I won't rave about any food unless it exceeds average in grandiose proportions. Superb beef - ask for the slices you prefer: more rare? No problem. Sweet potatoes with onions? Yum. This combo will make you a veggie lover! Tomatoes with a yogurt sauce? Sounded odd, yet interesting, and yum! The price point of this dinner, yes, dinner was $12. What? Crazy, right? Sure, if you are dining here for lunch it sounds pricey but this is dinner proportions. Seriously, in another PC establishment, this would easily be $32. You've just saved $20! This is NOT fast food, yet the line style is similar to say Chipotle. Order you items, pay at the end. And you can buy Kambucha. And beer. (Yes, there is an IPA listed.) And yes, the line can be long if you choose to go at a busy time. If you've ever traveled to the Mediterranean, you know what fresh healthy food tastes like: awesomeness. You walk along the counter and order all while seeing the food first hand. You pay at the counter, get a table number and food is delivered to you at your table. Everything here is made fresh with lots of herbs and spices. The staff was friendly and welcoming and food hot. I opted for the braised beef, corn (served cold) and mashed potatoes. While the corn was good, it would have been better to my liking if it had been hot. I also added pickled red onions on top, and had an additional side of carrot salad. I sat at my table and my dish was delivered in on ceramic plate with a cloth napkin and metal silverware. I appreciated that they used real cloth napkins and silverware. Taste-wise I loved my meal. Each of the sides was so flavorful and filling! I don't usually take leftovers home, but I simply couldn't finish the remaining 45%, which was perfect because getting two meals out of one is even more of a great deal. I also want to note that I was there with my brother, who eats a very meat-heavy diet, my mother, who prefers a vegan diet, and we each found delicious things and none of us felt like we had to compromise our individual tastes. What an excellent find when I was in town for work. They had many gluten-free options as well as vegan and vegetarian offerings. The menu key was easy to decipher for a first-timer. We had a Female Foodie deal to use, and this was on the way to Midway for our Ice Castle trip. My chicken was delicious, as always, and I love the cauliflower as well. I wasn't super thrilled with my mac and cheese, sadly, because I was really excited for that. While I feel like my body leaves happy after eating at Vessel Kitchen, I do wish the temperature of the food were hotter. I feel like each time I've gone (a few visits to the Midvale location; and only once here), my food is mostly lukewarm or cold. It's certainly not a deal breaker; it all tastes fine and is good quality, just often cold.
