Beers and drinks were good. Deducting stars because we ordered the fried pickles to snack on and it was the smallest portion ever! Nowhere near worth the $9 price. Especially when all the other portions of food are generous. I'd come back, but the pickles are a rip off. read more

You serve you're own beer here and it's fun, easy and allows you to try anything you like in any number of ounces. Beer is priced per ounce and they'll even change for partial ounces!! And the best part is the food!! Finally a Brewery that makes and serves their own food. And it tastes awesome!!! It's NOT bar food. Make sure you try the Maple Bacon Fried Brussel Sprouts!!! We even got to listen to some free live music - The Bluebird Two. They were great!! We did have an initial problem with our reservation. I made it in the restaurant during the week for a certain table's upstairs. I watched him type it in the computer and he said it will be there for all the managers to see. But when I got the there hostess sat us on the main floor right next to where the band would be!! Couldn't be any worse spot for a Meetup group!! They then moved us upstairs but in the back where we would not be able to see the band. Finally a manager came - sat us right where a made the reservation for and bought me a beer. We have been coming here for years. Hadn't been in a few months so went tonight. It was tasteless. All of it. We even think they had the wrong beer keg connected to the incorrect tap. They removed so many of the good items from the menu and left just mediocre stuff. The eggs rolls in the sampler were fried to death and the buffalo sauce tastes like Taco Bell sauce with cream cheese. The ranch dressing was all dill and nothing else. The pretzel sticks were hard as a rock and the cheese looked to have been sitting under the warmer for an hour. Just disappointed. Came in for a beverage (or 2) and dinner after a long day on the road. It was a bit noisy, but there was plenty of available seating. We sat at the bar and Crystal took good care of us. We had the fried pickels as an app, and then my husband had the mac and cheese with pork belly and I had the Shepherd's Pie. All items were pipping hot and delicious! We have never had such large fried pickels. If we are ever in the area again, we will make a point to stop. read more

We have been dying to add this place to our list of GA breweries. Came in on Sunday for lunch and a taste of their beers w my husband. The place is beautifully done with a clean line, smooth look in the architecture. Just our luck they were out of all of their currently brewed beers. So we opted for the basic Bud Light. Ugh! So ..What was in the tap was not Bud Light but some IPA we didn't care for. To make a long story short, we asked out server, Chelsea, and she insisted (YES INSISTED) we were wrong. To our surprise the manager, Taylor was already at the tap cking it out. He agreed the wrong beer was in the wrong tap and then proceeded to buy us a beer. I mentioned our servers' rudeness and comments to me and the next thing I knew was we wound up with a different server. Aubrey. Go see Aubrey if you get a chance..she is so sweet! We decided to stay and have lunch because of her! Burger w Mac n cheese w pork belly and Fish n Chips Both entrees were excellent! Food was decent, but overpriced for what it was. Service was okay. Not a fan of the draft wall. If we didn't order food there would not be a point in tipping the server since I did all the work. I'm wondering is that wall gets backed up on the weekends. Having to wait in line to fill your own beer. Plus not great timing for something like that with covid. Nope. Don't do it. In my very wide experience of visiting brewhouses across the country as well as restaurants in general, I would have to encourage you not to go here. Please. First, the beer. Self serve. That was kinda cool but super expensive as it charges you per 0.1 oz and there is no room for error. And it's still expensive at about $8/pint. And pray a Samaritan returns your beer card to you when you leave it in the tap. Next, the food. Yuk. Don't bother. I would get more descriptive but my descriptions make the general manager uncomfortable. He tells me that their chefs are human beings that work very hard on honing their craft. I would say they need more training or the menu needs adjustment. Lastly, this place is a) seat yourself, b) order yourself, c) get your food yourself, d) pour your own beers, and when you check out at the end they want to tack on a LUDICROUS 20% tip. For what exactly I'd like to know. I'll go back when they change the menu, the service and the desperate and selfish tipping policy. read more

Great place! The food was great. We got the mussels, burger, fries and fried pickles and all were great! The beer cheese for their fries was missing some salt but overall was great. The beer wall was awesome and a lot to choose from. I can't wait for their own beers to be featured. The service was fantastic! So glad Acworth has a place like this now. read more

I came here with my fam because my parents recommended this place. Said the Brussels were really good. Never even got them it's a super cute spot, nice atmosphere imo. We went on a weekday I believe so it wasn't super crowded. All they have for the most part are IPA's & gross. The food was alright. It wasn't clean to my standards. Tables were dirty lol I think it has great potential. They are low staff so it's self serve. You have to order downstairs & pick it up downstairs. read more

I had one beer, what is different about me or other patrons that had several brews. I have no tolerance for bigotry and prejudice that results in discrimination. The beers are awful. We ordered good old hamburgers and fries, the fries were so covered in salt we hardly ate any, had to send them back and ask for fries with no salt. Half a glass of sangria which was nothing but cool aid and your looking at $8.95. My husband looked forward to sampling and finding a beer he liked and after a few test, he settled for one but didn't enjoy it at all. This is an awesome location for food and a few adult beverages. Well designed facility with a great technology for ordering food and brews. We could no longer recommend due to very poor service and lack of cleanliness. Entire bar top appeared dirty with crumbs, male bartender was slow to acknowledge us when sitting at bar and once having to get his attention to order food; he didn't even bring us plates, napkins & eating utensils which we then had to ask for. So we then asked staff walking by for utensils. Staff brought one set when there were two of us! Really? When walking upstairs to see seating options for possible future family outing there; we found tables everywhere covered with dirty plates, cups and trash with no one up there clearing the tables although upstairs was open. Building looks great from the street but appears to be poorly managed. We will not return. In addition; a 20% gratuity is added to one's bill when ordering food at the counter and when getting your own beer from the beer wall. We were there on a Sat afternoon; late March. Food was fine but again; service and cleanliness was a bust. read more

When they first opened we were so excited. We both got their "black card" and frequented often. Yeah, it's not cheap, but felt the service and am ambiance made up for it. Then.. they stopped full service, but didn't stop auto charging the auto 20% gratuity - what?? I'm ordering myself, picking up myself, pouring my own drinks while we saw employees standing around chit chatting. Wrote them a note that the 20% auto add was not appropriate any longer.. they did respond, but didn't feel they really cared. Also noticed they had like 99% IPAs. Rarely had a Pilsner. Seemed they were targeting a younger crowd, but it's older folks that have more disposable income. Decided they didn't really care, so rarely go. I am not a fan of using a card to get beer. First thing you need to do is to request a card for each person in your party so everyone can go get a beer without hunting down the card or waiting. Second is you do tap the beer yourself so be careful - some beers foam like crazy some do not. You are charged for every drop that is tapped so there is no letting the tap run to get rid of the head. I found the beer selection very limited. The one positive is you can try a small sample of the beers and only pay for the sample - I think most were about 65 cents an ounce. Our food was decent - I would say average bar food. The one positive was our server was outstanding. While there is parking on-site if the place gets a little crowded that parking will fill up quickly and you will need to park and walk to get there. The venue overall is nice and a relaxing place to hang out and drink a beer. read more

We were charged $23 for a glass of sangria!!!! Never in my life have i paid that much for a glass of mediocre sangria. For that price they could have thrown in some fruit with it. The bill came out to $50 and we only had a glass of sangria and beer, the rest we sampled small samples of a few different beers. Watch what you drink because it'll add up quickly. Our favorite part was the live music and sitting outside by the fire pit. We'll be trying out other breweries in the area to see how they compare. read more

My boyfriend and I usually love to come here & bring our friends, but unfortunately today the manager was extremely unprofessional & tried to tell us my boyfriend's ID was a fake. I understand it's your job to prevent underage drinking but the manner in which she spoke to us initially was so rude & she was so sure up until she was proven wrong. Please don't accuse your patrons of literal crimes and then berate them for being defensive. This was our second time to this brewery. The food is typical bar food, but overpriced. They were out of all 3 specials written on the board. The service was awful, out of 5 people that helped us, one person was friendly. I would not recommend this place, unfortunately, it could be an amazing atmosphere! My wife and I live in Downtown Acworth and have walked by this spot since the beginning. We were walking by with the dogs today and we're happy to see that things were happening. Stopped and talked with Bobby and Johnathan to see that they were open offering some samples. Took the dogs home and came back for a few beers. Met Zack and bought a few tickets to check out some of their beers. We took a tour with Chris and he showed us around the place. Went back here only due to a party we were invited to... The place continues to operate in a chaos atmosphere. No real direction from staff upon arrival and yes YOU HAVE TO GET A CARD.... that's right it's basically a barcade.... nothing can be done in this place without it.... I asked the bartender about a beer and was immediately told "can't help you without a card"... I guess answering a question is forbidden. So I go stand in slowest line and finally get my card. I then go back to the bar and myself and two other patrons are told"guys please find a server I have like 8 drinks to make no way I can get to you" . At this point we laugh due to the fact the place is half empty and the guy looks like he's about to lose it .... . The best part about the bartender was we he continued to be rude to others... someone in my party asked for a drink and he snapped at her and said "not on the menu not making it". As for the beer selection it was pretty weak... I was excited to try some of their beer this time around but overall was let down. The DIPA was close to undrinkable so I abandoned that and grabbed a Glover Park. As for trying to leave I had to hunt down a server to pay. Three people just said "oh drop your card in the box and the 20% will just get added. I use to work in this industry and I am unsure how 20% is deserved when I received zero service. I am all about taking care of people but between a sorry/rude bartender and zero organization I could not wait to leave. Food is pricy for counter service. Menu is pretty limited. It's tasty bar food, but the experience is meh. Not terribly worth going out of the way and battling crowds for. The local brew scene has exploded in the last few years and there are tastier beers elsewhere, even if you have to BYO food. Downtown Acworth is kind of getting a reputation for classy restaurants and higher end options. Old Red Top fit the bill perfectly. You could have a fun date or even bring the kids along for brunch. Now, it seems more fit for a weeknight drinking spot for the guys. That's a fine vibe, if that's what the folks at Red Top are going for. But it's just not my vibe. read more

Four of us went for dinner. There was a pitcher and wings special. Asked if we could sample beers. They said sample glasses on the left. You put your restaurant credit card into the tap and it charged you per ounce of beer. We spent $10 just trying to find which beers we wanted to have in our pitcher. Then we ordered wings, pretzel sticks, French fries and a fried green tomato sandwich. My mom said the sandwich was bland. The bread was so thin that it didn't hold up to the sandwich and just turned into a mushy mess. The beer cheese didn't taste much like beer or cheese. The fries were soft not crisp. But the worst, the lemon pepper wings tasted like they were just dipped in pure salt. We tried to eat them. We aren't complainers. We dipped them in ranch, wiped the salt off, took off the skin. Finally I had to take them back and just tell the server they were inedible. We asked for replacements. The server was kind, but then the manager came up to us and accused us of just changing our minds and wanting free food. She agreed to just replace the wings that were left instead of the entire order. Fine. I wasn't even all that hungry at that point, But after, we decided to just cancel the order. I would rather not have any wings than be accused of wanting something for free. Before this happened though, we had already all said that we're not returning. It's sad. This place has really gone down hill. We went on a Saturday at 5:00- so not busy at all. We checked in at the front which took us about 10 min. When we proceeded to go get a beer they had zero glasses. We then waited another 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were standing there. Once we finally got our glasses we asked someone to turn the fireplace on outside. After finishing our beers, I guess we were the idiots because we maybe thought they'd still come outside. We took the cover off and the manager IMMEDIATELY came out and told us we can't do that. Communication sucks. Service sucks. And management is rude. We won't be coming back. When the new tap house opens downtown I have no doubt it'll shut this place down. But wait it gets better. We went inside to get another beer. They were out of glasses again. After standing there for 5 minutes we went upstairs. A keg was out so we told the oh so friendly manager and she literally walked away from us without saying anything. Female. Short. Brown hair. I guess she had beef with us over the fireplace. Needless to say we left but when we went to leave they pulled up the completely wrong tab. They have no idea what they're doing. Alright, the card idea is great! However, someone took my fiancé's card and charged it up, he ended up being over charged and the woman behind the register was not helpful. She said "well I don't know what to tell you, this has never happened before" and we closed out and left. It's sad because this establishment has a lot of potential...
