I was very disappointed with my experience at Shoe Palace in Plaza Bonita during the Jordan 4 Imperial Purple release. I understand big drops bring crowds, lines, and limited inventory, and that is all part of the game. What was frustrating was how quickly the store seemed to run out. I only had about 10 people in front of me, and customers were being let in two at a time for sizes. By the time there were just 2 people ahead of me, I was told there were only 2 sizes left. That raises a fair question: did the store only receive 10 to 12 pairs total? Because if so, that was less of a shoe drop and more of a shoe drizzle. I have heard rumors that pairs or sizes sometimes get held for friends. I cannot confirm that, and I do not want to make accusations without proof. Still, the way this release was handled did not inspire much confidence. Store ownership or management should take a closer look, because from a customer's perspective, it did not feel transparent or fair. I also think the store should be more transparent and post a sign the night before, or at least before the line builds, letting customers know exactly how many pairs they have available. That way people can decide whether it is worth waiting instead of standing in a long line only to find out there was almost no inventory to begin with. Respecting customers' time goes a long way. Customers who show up, wait in line, and follow the process should feel like they at least had a real shot. Unfortunately, this experience felt more like a raffle where nobody told us we were playing. read more

12/01/21. 9pm Sales person "Paris" had such a bad attitude. My son and I had been walking at plaza Bonita mall trying to find the shoes of his liking. When we walked into "Shoe Palace: We weren't greeted at the door.. when my son asked her for a shoe size and she acted very cold almost engorging his request. I was busy looking for another pair of shoes for my older son and when I found one I asked her for help. I said "excuse me do you have this shoe? " she looked at me and then looked away.. " I said excuse me again" and she looked at me for a second and said: "I heard you.." even though that chops my hide I kept my composer and waited patiently. False advertisement!!! If I could give zero stars I would! So i went into shoe palace and they had some shoes advertised that looked like woman and men shoes right in the front of the store and I picked one for 39.98 and after already having several difficulties with me telling them I needed a size 9 1/2 w to a size 10 repeated that multiple times to two different girls and never once did they say it was a kid shoe and even told them I was trying it on myself and still she didn't mention that it was a kids shoe or that the proce would change. After I try on the shoe for 39.98 the all white low top Nike shoe I decide to get them because it was only 39 but when I got to checkout they charged me more than what the shoe tag said how much it cost and then proceeded to tell me that all the shoes in the front are kid shoes and that because she picked a kid shoe the price changed my daughter even went to grab the shoe with the tag on it in the front and showed them the shoe and said isn't this the one your getting i said yes so why is the price more and the lady once again Said that's a kids shoe this is false advertisement at its finest beware this store !! read more

Some of the worse service I've received here. Was not greeted at all. My family stood around waiting for someone to help us while we were looking at shoes and nobody came. Stood at the register and was barely spoken to by the guy ringing me up. Mind you I use to work here so I know how the service standards are, and this was far from it. There is no need to come here as the price are the same as footlocker and Nike. You get horrible service here and maybe an hr wait time to get greeted or asked if you need a size. I know what I want and I don't window shop to waste anyone's time but the employees at shoe palace is too busy taking selfies and hitting on customers they don't notice anything else. Also if you want to be charged twice and given the wrong sneaker size go to shoe palace. My experience was horrific and I would never spend another dime of my hard working money here. They need to get a district manager in quick to fix their issues or this place will be closed down by 2020. read more

I entered a raffle at this place for some Jordan's and gave them my info and filled out a raffle ticket, they called me the next to to tel me I won and to pick them up the very next day, and when I did they told me they didn't have them anymore. Someone else went in there and bought them without the workers checking their ticket of info to see if it even matched what they had in their system. They had to call another store to see if they had an extra pair. Didn't even bother to offer me a discount or anything, if they have a system in place for shoes, why not stick to it? My first visit to Bonita mall with my son and we walked into every shoe store but Shoe Palace was the only store that greeted us and asked us how we were doing. The other stores could care less, so I took my business elsewhere. Not just that but Onie was on point with helping my son out with all his shoes. There's so many great thing's to say about this store. First, I would like to thank the entire staff for greeting with a smile and having patients at all times. The manager is absolutely wonderful to staff and all customers. He is alway's in arm's reach when needed, greets with a smile, and willing to take an extra 2 miles if needed to satisfy his customers. I am an RN and know first hand how difficult it can be working with people of different culture/ views, but I must say, he handles them well! As a military spouse I have been to thousands of shoe store's and never felt the need to write a review until now. I shop for shoe's constantly bc it is one of our joy's.. The Store is bright and excellent! The enviroment was exciting, music was blasting and all the associates were helpful.
