Had a great service experience & found boots that were comfortable & fit my specific needs. It's quite difficult to find work boots, with a steel or composite toe, in women's sizes; it was refreshing to see they have a wide variety of women's work boot & casual wear options. Bonus: they do free polishing/cleaning & free laces for boots bought through them!

I am very Disappointed how red wings sells poorly made boots. Bought my boots on June 21 and as of October 15 the shoes are already coming apart. I told the worker that "helped" me my job is very physical and he assured me redwing have ways of making boots last, but today when went they said I was out of luck. Honestly if you are willing to spent 100+ for boots look somewhere else that actually sell good boots.

The best boots on the planet!

You're living in the past if you don't go to this store and get fitted for shoes on their futureistic electronic foot measuring super computer built that i swear was built with alien tech. It measures the size of your foot as well as takes an electronic read of your gait! I now realize that I've never had shoes. That actually fit my feet the right way... total game changer! All the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable on their products and how to properly fit them to their customers. I truly walked away from this establishment a changed man, and I would recommend anybody looking for a solid selection of work boots or stylish and durable streetware to stop in and give them a look. My last pair of Redwings have over 6 years on them and I'm only replacing because a new job requires black footwear so I'll definitely be putting many more miles on the og pair on my days off. Redwings = happy feet

    Dirty boots.

I came in with my wife's boots to get them cleaned and to buy a pair of my own boots. I landed on a pair and left my wife's boots for cleaning. I wore the shoes for 8 hours and could barely walk afterward because of how much they cut into my Achilles. I went back to return my shoes and try on a different pair of boots and pick up my wife's boots. The guy that was doing the return seemed annoyed I was in there. I tried on a pair of boots but they were so tight I just gave up. They gave me the return and handed me my wife's shoes. They were still dirty.

Terrible store manager, she will not help you if you have a problem.

Bought some insoles which I thought we're gonna help me out, I got my feet scanned and everything by them, great customer services by the employees. Come to find out the insoles were hurting my feet instead of helping me while I'm working long shifts everyday. I come back 2 days later to make a return for my money back, I have the receipt and product to make the return but their system doesn't recognize my receipt for some odd reason, must be a system malfunction. The helpful employee called the manger to see what she could do for me but all she said was store credit which I don't want. I should be able to get my money back for a shit product. Managers telling me she can't give me my money back but only store credit for their system malfunction. What BS! I usually come here for my work boot needs but doesn't seem like I'll be shopping here anymore. Terrible experience with this manger. I would look into replacing her.

I bought a pair of work boots a couple years ago at Red Wing. In those 2 years I've worn them maybe 48 hours total. So, I was surprised last week when I put them on and noticed both heels were literally falling apart, disintegrating into a black rubber powder. I took them back and showed the clerk, and explained to him that I keep them in my locker at work and only use them about 30 minutes once every 2 weeks to do a specific job. He goes to his supervisor and comes back to tell me that it's my fault the shoes fell apart, because I wasn't wearing them enough, and I shouldn't keep them in my locker. They wouldn't take any responsibility or offer me a discount towards a new pair. Companies should stand behind their products.

I have had the same boots for four years and my feet were killing me so I stopped by and Xochitl got me fitted in new shoes. Turns out I was wearing one size too big all these years. She kept bringing shoes and said if there is any doubt try a different pair. She really wanted to make sure I had the right ones. She also gave me a first responder discount. Thank you all so much !!!

Just an update to my review.... last 4 Yelp reviews have been one star reviews. The business…read moreresponse to each one of these one star reviews is for US THE CUSTOMERS to reach out to manager Markus Lopez.... I would recommend Markus Lopez reach out to his Santa Rosa Store Team members to work on team member expectations regarding their customer service since that is the problem that needs to be addressed. Just Wow.... In the wrong way. I was looking for some brown dress shoes from a local retailer. Before going to Beck's Shoes, I reviewed their website and saw that they did carry a small selection of dress shoes, one option being an Ecco shoe which has worked well for me in the past. I walked in today at around 10:15 this morning and the one male team member on the floor was working with a female customer saying statements like "I don't think we have any shoes in our store that will meet your needs". As their conversation continued I walked around the store and saw their small men's dress shoes section had some other brown shoe options that may also work for me. I walked closer to the team member and heard him tell the female customer, "well maybe this one will work, let me go get you one from the back". As the team member walked past me he asked "what do you need bud", and I showed him the shoebox picture of my current Ecco black shoes and asked him if he had it in brown. The team member responded "We just have those in black and walked away". No, "I don't have that brand in brown but I have some other options" nor "we don't have those in the store but have additional options on our website" nor "let me finish up with my current customer and I can assist you." I just got a "no" and a walk away. Well I attempted to support a family business, it is unfortunate the team member I encountered wasn't willing to assist me in supporting a family business.

Your store manager isn't up to the task. Maybe deal with that. The manager spent his time marching around the showroom bragging about how many stores they had. I'd start explaining what I needed and what problems I've had with my current boots and literally halfway through my sentence he'd walk away loudly proclaiming "we have something for everyone, we have 30 stores you know... when you find something you like lemme know". Could not get the man to focus for more than a few seconds. He was loud, brash, and possibly ADHD. Walked across the street to Red Wing where I experienced superb service and found a great pair of boots. Not sure if the other stores are like this, but the Santa Rosa store is a waste of time.

This is not just a retail store, this is a place where active people can come to be a part of a community. I recently visited the store because I needed to be fit for a new running shoes as the brand I had been using discontinued my shoe model. As a long time marathon runner, I know that value of having the proper shoe for my gait body mechanics. The store offers a state of the art analysis to scan your foot anatomy as well as record your stride / foot strike to see what type of shoe you may need. The process takes about 30 minutes as the next step includes trying out the shoes which are designed for your specific needs ( neutral/ stability etc). This level of service is complementary; no purchase necessary. In addition to their gear, the store also offers a variety of training programs to support novice and experienced runners/walkers. Many participants became longtime friends. If you're looking to get started with a walk or run program or just need some new gear, this is a great option.

I would have considered trying on shoes outside the clearance section, but that would have required help from staff, who seemed to be absent from assisting customers. The service would accurately be described as non-existent when I visited with a group of 4 people. We were not greeted, and no one approached us to see if they could help us at any point until we were leaving. When we were leaving one employee who was coming in from outside spoke to us. The prices also seemed really high for the quality and brands of shoes they had for sale. I doubt I'll be returning here.

You don't be rude about it. Almost felt like she didn't even want me in the store. Having a condescending attitude really doesn't win over my business. All I wanted to do is buy my wife some shoes for Christmas. I walked out and left I wouldn't recommend buying anything from the store until they get rid of this lady. Who's operating the front desk? I own a business and if my employee ever disrespected a customer like she did, I would fire them. Talk about having repeat customers they definitely lost my business.
