Sergiu and his team were extremely efficient with the whole move. I can't recommend them enough. I was pretty stressed about the move but the team made the whole experience an absolute breeze. I had a wobbly glass coffee table which was really hard to assemble ( it had a manufacturing defect which caused some of the screws to not align). Sergiu went out of his way to make sure the table was properly assembled which meant redoing it a few times so that it would be safe to use. They are the best moving company in the area. Not only did they move all of my items without a scratch (and in far less time than expected!), but they also made the move experience stress-free, smooth, and so so easy. Amazing moving experience. I had a short move between 1 bedroom apartments and they did an excellent job. RedHat provides extremely prompt responses during initial inquiry. They were able to provide quick and accurate pricing estimates that was extremely competitive compared to all the other moving companies I looked at. They were able to provide required COI for both apartments quickly. During the move, they were very professional, very efficient, and very fast. They sent a crew of four people and they were able to complete the move within 3 hours or so. They were able to wrap all the furniture carefully, disassemble, and reassemble everything without issue. I did have a very cheap TV stand that suffered some damage, but they showed me the damage and they were even able to improvise a fix for me immediately when it happened. All my fragile items were handled with care, and nothing else was broken during the move. They do prefer cash or venmo payments instead of credit card. Hands down the best moving company! Back in August I moved from a 2nd floor walk up in the UES to a 5th floor walk up in the LES. I packed all the boxes myself the night before. Sergio and his men were fast, efficient, and were very punctual! The move itself was quick - about two and a half hours. Sergiu and his company Redhat Moving are absolutely top-notch movers and I highly recommend them. They were very quick to respond to my request for a quote, and very easy to communicate with the entire time. Their prices are fair and reasonable. They arrived on time (even slightly early, and they called ahead to ask if that was okay). They were very careful with wrapping up my couch (the only item I was moving), but also quick. I was impressed with how clever and efficient they were in terms of maneuvering my enormous couch into the elevator. It was a lengthy struggle to get that couch into the elevator when I first got it, but Sergiu and his colleague used a few tricks to make it easier (temporarily taking off the feet of the couch, and then flipping it exactly the right way). And they knew to do so beforehand, so they got the couch into the elevator right away, in one attempt. It is clear that they are very experienced and very smart about the way they move things, in addition to being careful and fast. The couch actually did not fit into the elevator at its destination, and they then carried it up SEVEN flights of stairs. They went to heroic efforts to get the couch to fit through the smaller doorway at its destination, and they succeeded. (Thank god for such determined movers... I would have given up). They were extremely gracious about this, and did not charge me anything extra. I had an outstanding experience with RedHat Moving and they were punctual, hard-working, fairly priced, careful, efficient and honest. And easy and pleasant to work with. This moving company deserves 6/5!! They were honestly amazing and so understanding when the management office of my building was requesting last minute documentation from them. They were really attentive and worked really really fast. If it wasn't for the management of my building not allowing us to move because of the last minute documentation needed for covid they would've been done in only 4 hours (with transportation from Queens to Manhattan included)!! I email them on Friday night stating i need to move ASAP which means Saturday they did their best after they finished with the other one who already had an appointment they did a favor for me and came and pick up all my belonging due to the time consuming they did a favor for me left all my furniture on the truck until Monday and brought it to my storage. These are the guys that you want to hire to move. It started with a straight forward quote with good communication, they provided the insurance to my building a few days later. On the day of the move, Sergiu and 2 guys arrived at my old house on the dot, they made sure everything was wrapped securely and even brought their own box for things which I couldn't pack myself (i.e. my aquarium). They were polite and very respectful towards my house and my things. They managed to complete the move within a very reasonable time considering the amount of items and furniture that I had to move and the fact that there was only 1 slow elevator. I researched a few companies and their pricing are very competitive/good. I would use them again and would recommend these guys to friends. Sergiu C. and his two movers were done earlier than estimated and post-rated for that, which was lovely to happen since people are so desperate for cash during COVID, and I am too. They wore masks and took COVID precautions seriously. They processed the Certificate of Insurance request immediately when I initiated it. I left a walk-up to an elevator building, Studio-amount of items, 22 small and medium U-haul boxes (they're great boxes). They kindly told me I didn't have that much stuff, setting me at ease during the high stress that comes with moving. Some of my furniture has tiny pegs for adjustable shelving, and Sergiu took the pegs out (I didn't have the strength, they've been in the same holes for YEARS), counted them, and put them in tape roll containers and gave them to me after the move. This kind of attention-to-detail, I very much respect and admire (I have OCD). They are very tall, fit, and strong movers (...and attractive); one of them even took TWO of my "book boxes" at one time where I struggled to lift even one. They worked well with the new building requirements, and had everything in well-ahead of schedule. You can tell they think about moving a lot, they had big boxes (like 6 feet big!) for "Fragile" stuff that they kept them all together in, and they had a big box for Odds-n-Ends that all came into the new apartment at one time.
