Red Hawk Grille was a huge fail tonight!! So haven't been to this place in awhile. Decided to go dinner. Menu gave us so much hope. I had chicken marsala and my husband had mac and cheese. Both dinners were served stone cold. I NEVER EVER send food back!!! EVER!!!! I had to tonight. Manager came over no real apology. Took our food and brought it back warm but not hot food. Never offered money off never offered desert. Nothing. Our server was terrible. Had to ask for water .. had to ask for more soda. Had to ask for bill. This place has gone down hill quickly. What a disaster! Had dinner there on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Place was very busy; kitchen was average in speed. Meal was AWFUL! If we hadn't been out with friends, I would have sent it back. My bad. I ordered a special: prime rib sammie. It was supposed to be a piece of prime rib cooked to my specifications. What I got was some black, leather-like pieces of something. Difficult to cut with a steak knife. Fries were barely warm; some were not even thawed. Very expensive for the quality. NEVER AGAIN! This place is focused on being a bar. Great Burger, my wife enjoyed her food. DO NOT eat the pickles there. Consider them garnishment. They sat us next to the jukebox and it was a terrible dining experience but the food was really good. Not many wedge salads I would take a pic of, but the Redhawk version is great! It says it's a wedge, but it's not, it's half a head and it's a blue cheese lovers dream!! Our whole party was completely satisfied with our dining. Outside is really a delightful place to dine. There were several large parties and all were handled well by the staff and were enjoying their time. Really a diverse menu and all items looked good. I have lived in this area for 40 years. Over the years I have gone here a lot. The last 2 years have been very disappointing, the food has been awful but I kept going back thinking it would get better. Tonight I ordered the scallop dinner and again it wasn't cooked correctly so for the first time in my life I called them, I asked to speak to the manager, I spoke to the manager Nicole when I voiced my complaint her exact words were, well just don't come back we don't need your business I was shocked. Stopped in with the family after doing the covered bridge tour. We had a couple burgers with fries, mac and cheese with a goldfish topping and potato skins. Burgers were very food as were the potato skins, 15 y/o daughter said the mac and cheese could have done without the goldfish but otherwise good. Service was very good. Redhawk Grille is one of the nicest restaurants to dine outside. The outdoor space is amazing. Beautiful landscaping and very large and accommodating. Better yet the food is delicious and there are many choices to satisfy everyone's taste, from appetizers, to Eggplant Parm, Burgers, Salads, Sandwiches, Ribs and Salmon just to mention a few. My husband loves the Chicago Italian Beef sandwich and he's ordered it twice now. I tried the Mediterranean Rice Bowl and most recent visit the Barcelona Shrimp Bowl, both delicious . I have been coming to this place since its inception. It has always been consistent with their food offerings. They update the menu with different seasonal items. Their daily specials are a little pricey but well worth the cost. The patio is spectacular in the warmer months. The bar area is very nicely appointed with pool tables and video games. Great for the younger crowd. The dining room has white linen table clothes and a beautiful fireplace. You positively can not go wrong eating here. My favorite is picking from the daily special menu which usually consists of 4-5 items. I love seafood. They usually have some sort of fish as a special. Delicious Red Snapper. We were celebrating our wedding and while the service was lacking - could be because it was a Sunday - my meal New Orleans Jambalaya was superb! The Redhawk patio is an excellent patio on which to enjoy a good meal. Living in Concord, my wife and I always enjoy eating there on pleasant summer evenings. The food is typically very good, as is the service. I know they have struggled (as have most restaurants) to have sufficient staff during and after the pandemic, but things seem to be improving. The jambalaya is still excellent and my wife really likes the pulled pork. It is a casual and relaxing venue back there but can get really crowded on certain evenings, typically Fridays and Saturdays. Guess that is testimony to the popularity of the place. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for outdoor dining. read more

I have been to Redhawk Grille a few times before and have never had such an experience like this before. We had a reservation for 4 people and I was the 1st to arrive a few minutes early. The 3 ladies at the front desk must have never seated customers before because it took about a 10 minute discussion to where to seat us in a dinning room that was virtually empty. When the other members of my party arrived they seat the others outside, knowing that I am inside waiting. The mix drink selection is very poor if you don't drink beer and the food, once we got it was nothing like what the menu described AT ALL ! Ok fine the chef and staff must be having a bad night ! So at end the night I was the only one to order a dessert and I requested to go so I can enjoy later. So the server put it on a plate with 4 forks for sharing. Needless to say I was very disappointed in the Redhawk for poor service and less than appetizing meals. read more

We love this restaurant. We ordered through the Yelp app which worked great and was very convenient. Red Hawk has the best mussels anywhere. We had that for an appetizer and our dinners were equally delicious. Chicken marsala with risotto and grilled apple pork chops with mashed potatoes. Both the chicken and pork were tender. Portions were generous and we ended up having it for dinner again the next day. We will definitely order through the app again and we will also visit Red Hawk again. read more

Had a great experience after finding out our order was misplaced! The GM comped the meal! Funny thing was we were talking so much we never noticed the slow service! 1 Stars for the bar side 0 stars for the restaurant side, I've been here many times and always enjoyed drinks with friends and had a few appetizers it is typical bar food but you know what to expect when ordering, however my disappointment comes from the restaurant side. Came here with a party of four sat in the restaurant and ordered a few drinks before dinner. The service was slow but she managed to get back in time for us to order dinner before they closed unfortunately. We all ordered the special fried lake perch baskets now since we live so close to Lake Erie we all understand what lake perch are. When the dinners arrived all of our mouths fell open the baskets were filled with something that looked like fish sticks formed in exact triangles every piece was identical to the other. Before our serve ran off I asked "is this lake perch" she rudely replied yes I quickly but politely disagreed so she left and came back a few moments later and told us the Chef (no chef would serve this crap so I assumed she meant the short order cook) told her it was some type of white fish they call perch that must have come out of a lake somewhere. I immediately told her we thought it was Lake Erie Perch because of the price (it wasn't fish stick prices.) and the way it was written up she told us everyone says that. I told her we would not be eating this and wanted to change our order she replied that since we started eating she could not take it back I showed her no one had eaten any we simple broke a few pieces in half to expose the silver and black meat under the greasy crust at this point she told us well they won't take it back and hopefully next time we come we order better. There was no offer to remove our meals from the ticket and it was clear the manager wasn't going to attempt to make this right so I paid the $80.00 and now I'm telling my story to you honestly we were deceived and never would have ordered this imported crap if we weren't lead to believe this was fresh local fish. I have gone here quite a few times. I still haven't decided if it's been worth my money. Sometimes we go and the experience is great. Other times it's a complete disaster, and the staff never does anything to remedy the situation. I haven't been back for around two months because the last time I went they forgot my side of broccoli. Then tried to give it to me well over a half hour later. I left annoyed, hungry, and they barely even apologized. Also, I suggest passing on their desserts. If you do go try the artichoke dip, it's fantastic. The manager Mike was phenomenal: took the time to show us back to the patio and seat us, told us a little about the place and made some excellent recommendations. The food here is always consistent and tasty - the service is usually what is hit or miss. They have delicious risotto and the filet is tender as all get out! It's my favorite dish by far - the gumbo is very good though as are the burgers.
