Was pretty disappointed with the food and service. We seemed to have been forgotten about after we were seated for a good 10 minutes before anyone came over and asked if we wanted waters. My husband ordered the steak rare, it came well done and absolutely drenched in oil and garlic. It was much too over powering to enjoy. I ordered the scallops and risotto and the risotto wasn't cooked nearly enough. The scallops tasted fine but were not seared properly. We spent over 150.00 on this dinner so we expected something halfway decent but were sadly disappointed. We will not be returning and advise others that spending your hard earned money would be better off nearly anywhere else. read more

I'm giving this review 3 stars because the hostesses and staff who take the orders to go are always friendly and professional. The food portions, however, are not consistent. I have ordered the fish and chips to go many times, and they used to always give you the same amount of fries each time. The last few times have been smaller amounts, and even, more smaller amounts! I did call and leave a message about it to the management, but they have not called me back! I think I had like 14 French Fries in my order last time, and they forgot my side order of Garlic bread! First couple of times here I would have rated them lower, but now this has become a go to place for my family as well as me and co-workers. Especially in the summer time the patio is fantastic. Wide variety on the menu. My favorite has become the Mediterranean Rice Bowl and my wife loves the Chop Salad. Had dinner with friends a few weeks ago. We had a great server and the restaurant is very nice inside. The food was just okay. I tried the pork schnitzel. The schnitzel was nicely breaded but barely warm. The gravy on top was horrible! I could tell it was heated and globbed on top. It looked like a curdled mess and way too thick in texture. The schnitzel had no seasoning at all. The mashed potatoes were also barely warm, no seasoning and dry. My husband had the butterflied shrimp. They were overcooked. The coleslaw served with the dish was inedible because it had way too much vinegar. This was the opinion of several of our diners in our party. Not sure we will be returning any time soon. read more

Haven't been here in years but we were in the area on Sunday night and needed to get dinner out. I remembered the food being good. We have 2 young kids (2 and 10 months) so I made a reservation for 5:30 pm. I made the reservation at 2pm same-day. When we arrived at 5:20, the parking lot was packed and we were commenting about how we were glad we got a reservation. Upon walking in the door, it became very evident we wouldn't be able to be seated. The bar area was closed for a private party, and the dining room was packed. The party in front of us at the hostess stand ALSO made a 5:30 reservation but they couldn't find it and told them "we don't do same day reservations". They had made their reservation on Redhawk's website through yelp, same as us AND the party behind us. So at 5:30 alone, they had 3 parties that made same day reservations that were then not honored. All 3 parties took their business elsewhere because the hostess couldn't even give an estimated seating time. Nowhere on their website or during the booking process does it indicate that same day reservations are not allowed. And it should be a setting on the restaurant's side to turn off times for same day if that is the case. If it had just been my husband and me, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but now it is pushing into the time we thought we would have had food ordered for our kids and we had to drive around to find somewhere else to eat. All the other restaurants around the corner were closed, with the exception of Chipotle. It was definitely not the meal I was looking for, but it was acceptable. read more

Tonight was a perfect, spur-of-the-moment, let's go out to eat and make it a patio night! One of our favorite places, disappointed us. More specifically, one of the dishes, mine! Thought I'd change my choice of sandwich and picked the Chipotle Chicken Crunch. It consists of Char-Grilled Chicken, Pepper Jack Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Jalapeños, Chipotle Mayo and Chili Onion Rings. Tonight, I could not eat the sandwich, but had to use a knife and fork to cut the chicken. Tough and in my opinion, over cooked, the chicken was a bland piece of meat. Once our party ordered drinks and then our meals, our server paid no further attention to us despite drink glasses which were obviously empty. Well over 40 minutes later, our meals arrived where discovered my gyro was made with roast beef (as opposed to lamb described as being the 'special' for the day.) Tzatziki sauce on roast beef in a pita hardly constitutes a Greek gyro... Once our meal had ended and our server was still no where to be found to offer dessert, we requested another server to bring our check. We came to dinner while visiting friends in Cleveland. We had a large group with 6 kids and were seated promptly. I ordered from their daily specials and got a half rack of ribs with rice, fries, and garlic bread. My food was great- but missing the garlic bread. My husband got the Monte Cristo and said it was pretty good. Our friends ordered the meatloaf and a Buffalo chicken salad. Both enjoyed their meals. The kids meal are large and only $5.50. The kids burger bun was a bit burnt- but all other kids meal were good. We would come back! read more

Excellent! All the way around! We just had a fantastic dinner at Redhawk Grille. Service was excellent, quick, and our food was delicious. I had the ribeye which was sensational. We also had the Chicago style eggrolls, and my ladies had the burgers which were all outstanding with mushroom and Swiss. This was our first time eating there. The menu looks incredible, and the vibe is very clean, spacious, and there plenty of seating options. Looking forward to returning soon to try out some more of their additions! Tried to make a reservation as we were traveling from out of town. Didn't work online. Called and made reservations for Friday but the confirmation text read Saturday. Had to call and get that fixed. Parking is inadequate for as many customers as they have, but we found a spot. When we got to the restaurant they couldn't find our reservation because they were looking at Saturday. Stopped in this evening for dinner with my wife. They were super busy thanks to the beautiful and unpredictable weather! Lots of people enjoying the deck. We opted for dinner inside. My wife ordered the short rib dinner with asparagus and mashed potatoes and I had a maple glazed salmon over rice. Both meals were OUTSTANDING! We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come for a drink order and actually summoned one of the hostesses who helped with that and took our order (she was GREAT!). We know it was a busy night for the wait staff so it's really not a big deal in the whole scheme of things! We live close and will continue to enjoy the Redhawk !! read more
