Ambiance is great. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating are all comfortable and clean. Service was wonderful. We had an incredibly attentive waiter. While my friends loved their food (Buttonhole salad for one and Reuben for the other) my "Zapper" burger was just not good tasting. Bottom bun was completely soggy. The meat tasted off. Sadly, since I'm the reviewer, I'm giving restaurant a 3. If the burger had tasted good this would be an easy 4. The fries were crispy and great. I'd recommend they go with a different dill pickle provider as the pickle spear wasn't great either. Maybe next time I'll try the Tuna .

This place is huge! There is plenty of seating inside and large spaces outside as well. It was raining on our visit so we were seated inside and felt like we had plenty of space. Our party was large and they were easily able to accommodate us. The menu has so many options and everyone was able to find something they could enjoy. The food was nice and the service was good as well

4/5 -- Great dinner, dancing, and service. Arrived 6:30pm Friday. Katie quoted a 20-min wait, so we grabbed bar seats and ordered cocktails. Table by the fireplace was ready before we finished. Leah recognized us from 3 weeks ago. She brought water in glass, not plastic, remembered our food allergies, split our 14oz steak onto two plates before serving, and split our bill down the middle 50-50. Steak was perfect thanks to the chef, real mashed potatoes like homemade, and green beans weren't drowning in processed oils. Caught happy hour: diet Dr Pepper + ice cream with rum for dessert. Solid move. Danced the whole first set. Came back to an empty table -- purses still there in plain sight, plus six tall glasses of ice water, one full cocktail each, and one partially drunk Palermo each. Should've been a clue to the busser we weren't done. Spoke with Christian, the manager. Professional, pleasant, and made it right immediately. Ambience is above average: great lighting, defined dance floor, and a jaw-dropping koi pond. isn't Michelin-star, but it checks most boxes and is in my top 10 go-tos. Katie, Leah, and Christian were standout. Will be back

Wife loves the Big Zapper, always good with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I enjoy good onion rings, these were great. A large chop salad very filling, some to take home for later. Nice to sit outside on a sunny spring day on their patio. Excellent and friendly service

Hubby and I met sone family at Redhawk Grille for lunch and even though the weather outside was cold and rainy, it was warm and inviting inside. They had a table already so we were seated right away. Ir wasn't packed, there were quite a bit of people in the bar dining room watching the game, but in the main dining room they had plenty of tables and booths open. Everything was clean, and looked inviting. Our waitress Valerie was so pleasant and attentive. I couldn't make up my mind between two dishes and her recommendation for the Chicken Marsala dish was spot on. A couple got Jambalaya and said it was amazing. Portion was so big they took half of it home. My sis in law got a Reuben needed gluten free bread and they were all out of one kind but had a substitute. She said it was a little too sweet with a hint of cinnamon and didn't mesh well with the Reuben so she ate it without the bread. It was good despite that. Nephew got a burger that looked like a skyscraper, he gobbled it up lol. Everything tasted great and we left happy and satisfied. I would definitely come back here for live music on their beautiful patio.

Really great food and great service. Had the pork schnitzel and potstickers. The beef barley soup was pretty amazing. Great find!

The walleye was truly disappointing and was paired with the blandest rice ever. The 3, yes 3, asparagus were ok.

I always enjoy the crab cakes. The greasy (their discretion) fries are fantastic, especially doused with a dash of malt vinegar. Try the cream pies for dessert. We bounce between the coconut and the banana. We are often surprised at the amount of people going to the place across the street when a far superior Brennan's is waiting. Don't make that mistake! It always makes senses to opt for great food instead of a faux beaten down shack.

Each item used as decor seemed to whisper a story. We were immediately brought warm bread to share. We ordered the Fresh Lake Erie Walleye and were not disappointed, so delicious! I got The Mermaid Water as my drink and it was yummy and so pretty! We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere that felt like we'd stepped into a fishing village hidden gem. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Don't leave without ordering the homemade Key lime Pie for a perfect ending to a great meal. This is the kind of place you may be tempted to walk on by, but once you enter then you'll be glad you walked in!

A nice feature is it's 25% during happy hour on wines and select small plates. We moved to a table to upstairs table. It was an odd time, Wednesday at 5-6, but we enjoyed the entire upstairs space to ourselves our entire visit, which seems sad, as it's a great space. The menu featuring handmade pasta, steak, seafood, and Mediterranean-inspired Italian dishes and we selected 1. Pasta Bolognese 2. Potato crusted grouper with truffled creamed corn. We loved the presentation of the food. My friend loved his Pasta Bolognese and enjoyed ot with the red wine. My meal was with mixed review. The Grouper itself was superbly and lightly breaded, and was soft and DELICIOUS..... however, I thought the Aoili sauce drizzle was too spicey. I recommend use it as a side dip vs. put it on in case people don't like it. Fortunately I was able to scrape off most of it, and once I got it off, the fish was delicious. My side was the creamed corn -- they raved about it. It was "nice", flavorful but I liked the fish best. We then ordered dessert. It was Baklava. They said they make it onsite with people from Greece. I have had a lot of Baklava and I've never had it this way. It featured a 2" thick, dense square. I've never seen it this thick - it's usually light and flowery-breaking as you eat it. Can't dislike honey and nuts and pastry, but I'd say my preference is thin and flaky type Baklava. The restaurant is beautiful and the room we were in cozy and inviting. I would like to return to try more things, so my issues with a couple small things did not overpower my like of the place -- the issues were 'details' and preferences. Good job. Nice to meet you Frank Wagner and will return.

We sat upstairs both times and had to ask to have the lights dimmed for some ambience. It's also very, very loud. We had larger parties both times and could not hear each other speaking and our server had trouble hearing as well. I think maybe some curtains or something that absorbs the loudness in there. Maybe next time we'll ask to eat outside. Again, the food was really good, but we like the whole package, ambiance included.

I hadn't been to The Lobster Pot in about a year. I suppose restaurants can change…read more in a year. Unfortunately, so can your opinion of them. The Margarett Red Zin was decent--slightly peppery and fruity without being too sweet. The crab cake had good flavor, although it wasn't as chunky as I prefer, and the bottled-tasting remoulade didn't help. The Caprese salad seemed to have been introduced to balsamic and olive oil of rather questionable quality. The linguine with chopped clams, garlic, olive oil, parsley and Parmesan arrived less than warm, and the flavors never quite got acquainted. The grilled Mahi Mahi, however, was the bright spot. Well prepared, with mango, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro and cucumber salsa, finished with sweet Thai chili sauce. Good combination of flavors. We had specifically asked that the courses be served separately. We were assured they would be. They weren't. The appetizers and salads arrived together. Apparently, "separately" has become one of those words open to interpretation. Service otherwise was acceptable. But the restaurant was only about half full. That may not be a scientific measure of a restaurant's decline, but when the food and service seem to have deteriorated too, you begin to wonder. It just wasn't the same Lobster Pot I remembered. And unfortunately, I don't mean that in a good way

I also asked for a lemon wedge, not a slice, since you can't squeeze a slice. Next came our espresso martinis, one for each of us. We actually felt the bang for our buck -- strong, well-balanced, and worth every penny. For our appetizer, we shared the gluten-free BBT meatballs. It was delightful. Then our Cobb salads arrived, each with shrimp added. We requested a side of extra-virgin olive oil -- not a blend -- and the kitchen got it right. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake, minus the graham cracker crust because my friend is gluten-free. I would have preferred the kitchen plate it for sharing and provide dessert silverware with it, instead of us having to flag someone down. I'm also industrial seed oil free, and Hailey was attentive to both of our dietary needs throughout. The manager, Chris Nichols, stopped by to check in and ensure we were satisfied -- a clear sign the restaurant is customer centric. I actually thought Chris was the GM. Kudos to the general manager, Ben Lano, for inspiring great teamwork. Lastly, I give the ambience four stars, simply because we don't have a Michelin-starred restaurant in Ohio.
