I spent Memorial weekend shooting at the park . It was my first time at range.Very impressive to Allison reviewing range policies and Riley showing me the park . The park has different shooting venues. I become a member that first day being -yes cost effective but also I found it to be very user friendly with staff and fellow shooters . Redlands shooting park is a great place to shoot clay sports it is very clean and family orientated. They have a great professional staff that keep things safe and fun you will meet and make new friends and maybe meet some old ones. I highly recommend Redlands Shooting Park they are open days weekends and some nights. There is a great club house where you can hang around and enjoy the food and drink.If you don't have the equipment to shoot you can rent everything you need here at fair prices. read more

This facility is fantastic. The people/staff are helpfull and fun. Then one day I enrolled my wife in a session with an instructor. Her shooting has improved greatly. It has also hurt my wallet because she know has her own shotguns. Not 1 but 2. I first got told of this facility by "The Woman of the NRA". Which is how my wife entered my hobby and passion. I recently returned to the Redlands Shooting Park with one of my nephew's sons who had never shot before. It was a little busy, but I want to say how impressed I was that one of the members Dan, and later the manager Ian, immediately jumped in to help with safety and some tips and lessons. They were so very patient and he was hitting targets like a pro right away. I was more impressed with the safety talk and methods Dan was emphasizing. It really seems to have sunk in very well. This is really a fun venue. I hope Dan or Ian can work with me a bit in the future with my small disabilities, as there seems to be a few shooters here shooting from wheelchairs and walkers. Sadly, I won't be going to this range every again. I would not normally write a bad review, I am a happy person and tend to see things with rose colored glasses. I am an active volunteer within Redlands and enjoy supporting the local business owners. We have been shooting at this range for a couple years on a recreational basis and have brought many friends here to introduce them to trap shooting. This weekend, our friends that drive from OC to come shoot and hang out with us came with their 4 young children, ages 3-10. The 10 year old went up to shoot his mom's 20gauge (for his 2nd or 3rd time) and shot about 5 shots and was done. When mom came up (petite, sweet as can be Cambodian lady) she shot a few shots, then I noticed the owner start standing behind our range and watching. Strange for him since he is not a customer friendly type, unlike the other staff. She shot maybe a dozen more, he then went into the range and stood closer, she shot 5 or so more. When she finished her shells, she was unloaded and and gun on her shoulder. She walked out of the range and was standing with her husband. The owner rushed up to her, grabbed her unloaded gun from her and began shaking an empty shell in her face and yelling at her. Apparently they had grabbed the box of 3" shot shells which are too strong for the barrier screens that catch the lead and keep it on their property for recycling. We have always known that we needed to use the correct shells to avoid putting holes in these screens. None of us would maliciously use incorrect ammo. Instead of stopping her and asking to check her ammo right when he was told by one of the regular shooters that she was using the wrong stuff, he waited and watched her shoot 12-15 shells! WHY???? Then when they appologized profusely for the mistake, he continued to rant and ask how the F*** she couldn't tell the difference in the kick. When she said she doesn't shoot often enough to notice that, he told her that he obviously did not know what the F*** she was doing and should get the F off his property and never come back. WE WERE IN SHOCK. This all happened with the 4 children watching in horror! This rant went on VERY loudly for ever it seemed. My friend then went inside to talk to the owners daughter who just wanted to know what we were going to do to fix it, my friend calmly paid them $750 for the screen and said he would have appreciated being shown the same respect by the owner. read more

Great place to shoot with a very friendly staff. I really appreciate that they enforce all the proper shooting rules and etiquette. Although some may complain about not being able to walk around with their tactical short barrel shotguns loaded with five or six rounds in them. I for one feel much safer without that crowd there. First and foremost, this is my first ever bad review. I have never wanted so badly to tarnish the image of a business until today. I honestly wish I could give this location 0 stars, but i'll settle for 1. To start off, My cousin and I shoot very frequently (multiple times a week) and love shooting our shotguns. When we first walked in, the woman behind the counter seemed to be helping the people in front of us rent shotguns for the first time, and helped them with safety instructions and how to operate their guns. When it came time for our turn, the first question was if we have ever shot here before. We both answered politely and said no. She told us that the ammo must be inspected before we can shoot. So as I was going out to my car to get the ammo, my cousin asked if he should have me bring in the shotguns too, and she said no. So i returned to the counter with two large plastic ammo containers that hold approximately 100-125 rounds (keep in mind that I have never had to have my ammo inspected at any other range that I've been to, but we understand that they are a business and they have rules that we must comply with) and opened my case first. Upon seeing that the shells were not in their original boxes, she started to get impatient and her tone started to shift as if we had done this purposely to annoy her. She then asked me what size are you shells. I told her it was 2 3/4 & 7 1/2 shot. At this point she raises her voice and says I don't care about the size, I want to know the velocity. So I told her that i did not know the velocity because I had thrown the box away, but I did tell her that these are the Walmart winchester rounds. Then she stated that she would allow us to shoot because they have experience and they know what type of shells these are, however she continued and said that they would just cut one open if they wanted to do so. At this point, my cousin walks back in with the keys to unlock his ammo box. Upon opening the box, she saw the same thing as my box, except his was a 8 shot. She then asked the same question again, "what size are these?" we responded, "these the same, but 8's instead of 7 1/2's". At this point her tone completely changed and she said "apparently you guys don't know what you're talking about, so stop arguing with me and just listen or i'm not going to let you shoot, but before you shoot I want to see your guns too (but remember that in the beginning she said that she didn't need to see our guns...why the sudden change of heart)". After she threatened us about not shooting, her tone remained the same, but she was willing to let us purchase the trap rounds. But at this point we felt that she had insulted us, disrespected us, and changed he story multiple times, so we decided that we do not want to give her our business. My concern in all of this, is not that I was asked to have my ammo, my gun, or anything else inspected. Rules are rules and they must be followed. However there is a proper way to inform customers of such regulations in way that does not provide poor customer service. Had she said "I'm sorry I cannot let you shoot due to regulations at this range requiring you to have original boxes" we would have simply said, "thank you, we understand, have a great day". read more

One of the worst and weirdest experiences I have ever had in my life speaking to someone over the phone. When I was asking for pricing and how it works, it seemed like the lady was so annoyed by me and my questions. When I was asking about pricing and what type of guns they use, the lady that was helping started to get impatient. I told the lady I could tell she was getting annoyed I asked if I someone else that could help me or answer my questions. To my surprise, she told me "Im the owner". At that point, I told her I was no longer interested in her services and she should have a better attitude twords her potential customers and then I hung up. After hanging up, I mysteriously kept on getting phone calls from a private number over and over again and someone would hang up. Kind of immature for a business owner to go through those lengths and prank call. I ended up calling Triple B Clays in El Monte and they happen to be WAY NICER and answered all of my questions. read more

Redlands Shooting Range. To whom this may concern. I normally won't post any negative remarks on here in regards to a business, but while I was at the range yesterday spending time with my young nephew, we both observed a young employee there being very disrespectful to an elderly group of persons who were there to purchase a membership to this club. The employee showed no respect towards them and seemed to be really irritated on the fact that they were not fully understanding how the whole process was to work. I witnessed this employee being rude and very impatient to them and treating them as if they were stupid and just did not have time to deal with them. Then after all was said and done they left to go outside, the employee proceeded to continue to talk very bad about them to other customers. First off. There are paying customers. Their monies support the paycheck you take home. Second. You show the public how bad this business is because of your actions. What gives you or anyone the right to disrespect the elderly in that fashion ?? Your actions are very very inexcusable in my opinion. Just because someone may be older does not give you or anyone else the right to disrespect them at all. I am saddened at that fact that your boss responded back to me that you were probably "just joking" ( to make light of this situation ) and really not show concern of this situation, It was no joking matter to me. . I have been coming to your range for a good many years and have never ever been treated or even seen this type of behavior ever. I have chosen to not be part of your customer base any longer and I will surly let all who I know not to do business here as well. You have lost my loyalty and business from this point on. read more

Redlands Shooting Park is awesome I love this place great staff great fun for a great price

Our family and friends will not be doing business here. Staff always has a bad attitude. It is like you bother them with business. Don't interrupt their personal talk time or you will get bad service. If you're lucky maybe they will be nice to you and offer you services they don't offer other customers like switching out your ammo for their approved ammo at no charge. If you're not that lucky be prepared to pay extra for low grade ammo. Caution as they might send you on a wild goose chase with false information to a place that doesn't sell the correct ammo for them as well. Get ready to kiss their butts if you want to have a good experience here. By the way you do all the work too, like pick up shells, Scan the card for clays, and do the pulling. Only thing you don't do is load the thrower, If you want a reasonable and enjoyable skeet experience I would recommend Prado shooting park in Chino. read more

My father and I tried to do some skeet shooting practice the Redlands Shooting Park. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I WILL WARN EVERYONE, DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR GAS BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN SHOOT THERE! After we paid and set up at an open skeet range the range master informed us that we had to move and share the one open skeet range with a stranger or practice at the trap station in the front. When we explained that we needed to practice at a skeet range for an upcoming tournament and practicing multiple shots from each position wouldn't work well with someone else shooting a normal skeet rotation, the range master replied that he doesn't know our experience level, safety consciousness and skill level so we have to shoot from a station in front of the clubhouse or leave. So we picked the later and now I am choosing to make Prado and Raahauge's my shooting clubs. Why advertise that you have 5 skeet shooting stations if they aren't available for customers to use? The place looks like a dump and in bad repair. Then, put rude staff and no customer service on top of it all and I don't even know how they are in business. read more
