Oh man, where to start. First off, the people there are nice & friendly, BUT...I don't know how they're still in business. I went about 2 weeks ago (give or take). I was in a rush so i just stopped by since i was already at that plaza. The lady who did my nails was rushing through it and I literally had to coach her on cleaning up my white tips. It was a horrible job. I was cut at least 4 times, and the paint job was blotchy. I paid about 30 or so bucks for them, but since i knew I wasn't going back, I didn't complain. The very next day, my white tips turned yellowish. Today I've had enough of them so i just started taking them off, to find a couple of my actual nails GREEN!!!! That is some nasty stuff. Something just isn't right about this place. The place itself shows how careless they are about their business. Dirty walls ad dirty smelly trash cans. The place was filthy honestly. The woman who did my pedicure was not paying attention and she barely scrubbed my feet. The message was super short and not very good. The message chairs are old and not all the buttons work. I hadn't had time to pamper myself in a while and I had some free time after work one day before I had to pick up my kids from after school care. I always drive by the plaza with Ross in it and that day I happened to see the Redondo Nails sign. I walked in and was instantly greeted with friendly smiles and pleasant attitudes. One of the male nail techs sat down and asked me what I would like. I let him know I wanted a medium length full set and that I only had about an hour and he went to work. When I tell you he really knew what he was doing, he REALLY KNEW what to do with my nails. I didn't have to tell him how to shape my nails or anything. He took his time and my nails came out perfect...and all within an hour. I asked for a card and told him i will be back to get my fill and a pedicure when i get some more free time. Great job Andy! If you cant do a simple pedicure without painting OUTSIDE the lines...i.e. My skin and then correcting it crooked STILL leaving nail polish all over the place...you shouldnt be a nail tech!!! Who Auntie they let work today?? They should be fired! Just left here. Very nice people. But my actual pedicure was pretty horrible. I wasn't in the mood to complain so i accepted what they gave me, got charged to use the atm because they don't accept card, paid, tipped and won't be coming back. Lesson learned. I was very satisfied with my nails. My first visit and it was fairly pleasant. Aside from the busy holiday weekend I was very impressed with my nails. One person serviced me for the Gel Mani and signature pedi. She was an older lady, very nice and precise. I would come back. I just so happened to be in the area taking care of business and decided to stop and pamper myself (boy was that a mistake). Now, I love good customer service but I don't care for the nail technicians who get to comfortable and overly friendly with me; this particular tech just acted like she been knowing me for years and was getting to personal as well as over stepping boundaries. I feel like It's not about just doing nails, extensions, facials, etc; it's also about getting an understanding of each individual customers personality and body language because some customers are okay with certain things and others aren't ( I just so happen to be one of those customers that does not like anything outside of basic conversation with someone I don't know). But to be fair, I am not sure if the lady was rude or if it was just her personality ( maybe a culture clash or even a personality clash). As far as my nails, they looked plain for the amount of money I spent and the lady didn't spend much time on my pedicure ( I am used to getting pedicures that remove dead skin with a cuticle nipper, not just the foot scrub). I also didn't get the oiled down feet and legs, a message, or my cuticles pushed down and cleaned around. My daughters brought me here for a birthday pedicure. Mimi was great! I'm very happy. I will definitely be back! This review would be five star if not for the confusion on prices. Both of my daughters had the same work done, a full set of acrylic nails, but there was a $5 difference. We weren't too clear on why the difference but they will still probably be back for fills. This was a gift from Mom (Thx Mom). Pedicure with Hana. Relaxing. Great massage chair, BUT I'm 5'9" and the chair has it's spacial limits. I had seen Redondo Nails in passing, and bookmarked it in my mind to try one day. I went in on a Friday morning for a pedicure only and I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in. I enjoyed the decor/atmosphere (cute colorful paper lights hanging from the ceiling) and the staff is nice and laid back. They have a few different pedicure packages to choose from, and I decided to start off with the basic one which was $25.00 and included a callus treatment & a hot towel leg wrap, and I found this to be a very reasonable price. I liked that they use liners in the pedicure chair tubs for sanitary purposes. Janny did my pedicure and I am happy with it. When I was done, she gave me a card with her name on it and spaces on the flipside to be signed off on every visit, good for a discount after 10 pedicures. This place is fairly new. I went there last Saturday to get a pedicure. I walked in and the staff was very friendly. I was greeted and sent to a chair right away. About 15 minutes later this young girl started to work on my feet. The pedicures begin at $25 and they have this menu that explains all the products they will use on you. I will say the girl had no idea what she was doing. She would take about a dime size amount of certain products and rub them on my feet. Out of the 5 products she was supposed to use on my feet she used 3 and the 3rd one she only used because the staff member next to her reminded her to do so. I feel this place wants to be higher end with their products, but it's clear the products aren't good ones and staff lacks experience. I would definitely not go back. read more

I am happy to say that after several years of trying to find a nail shop in Gardena my search ended today when I found Redondo Nails. The facility is clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. I had the pleasure of receiving an EXCELLENT pedicure from Mi (pronounced my), a relaxing skin smoothing facial from Andy and Thanks to Karen my nails look AMAZING!!! So amazing that after I left the shop I saw my mother ( who by the way has been having her nails done by Tommy for over 10years) and she wanted to know who did my nails and where they were located. I took my mother to my new nail shop so she could experience the difference. She was so pleased with her pedicure and fill that she said "Tommy lost a client today".. I came here because it was convenient on my way home from work and it was but what I did not like about it is that for the price I feel the service should have been longer. They have a $25 pedicure service which I got and the tech did everything so fast! I am used to having the techs be gentle and ATTEMPT to carry a conversation. This guy was the complete opposite, he would grunt to have me move my legs instead of speaking. He was in such a rush that it seemed it was a busy day when in reality there weren't any people waiting in the waiting area.
