So I'm only giving this 2 stars because of the girl that did my nails was very nice. I went last Wednesday for the first time. I've lived in Gardena for 8 years, tho I believe this place has only been here for 2 or 3. So I got a fill with the gel polish, and it's already peeling off a week later... Actually started a day or so ago. It isn't cheap getting our nails done, and when this happens it's very frustrating. So needless to say I won't be going back to this place. Don't go here to get SNS. They do a sloppy job, I didn't realize it until I tried another salon and this place is not that good. They don't honor appointments and take forever to take you. The girls are always rushed and leave things messy and unprofessional. I asked for a coffin shape and got told "No". The color selection for SNS is all in jars and they don't have nail swatches so when you choose a color, once they put it on your nails it's a totally different color and they fight you when you want to change it. I dropped by the shop after I had picked up an order at Stapes because I was in dire need of a manicure. I had never been there before, as the appearance looks a little run down from the outside. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and Mia came to help me. She was very gentle and friendly, so I ended up getting gel color as well. I do have trouble with the color peeling on only one finger every time I get my nails done. But, I haven't had gel for many years because I would have a reaction to the chemicals. Starting my review by stating never have I been so upset over customer service. I walk in and a lady in the 1 st pedicure chair with the big fake eyelashes asks what do you want. I say manicure and pedicure and she says take a seat. I then proceed by telling her I would like to see Lina and Tina, (Lina best manis ever) (Tina best pedicures) she then says Tina isn't here "with an attitude" I ask her which days is she in then she proceeds by turning around and shrugging her shoulder and leaves me with the word in my mouth. I've been a customer for over 5 years and I hate that I have to make such a review. The quality of service at the salon has seriously changed. My nails use to last 3 weeks to a month without chipping or breaking. Andy use to do a fantastic job, however the last two times that I have been my nails have cracked, chipped and broke all within 1 week of service. I went back the first time to show what happened and was actually charged to get my nails redone. I was pissed, but I paid. I gave the shop one more chance and got my nails done last week and they are again breaking, chipping and cracking. I use the SNS nail system which I love, but something is not right. I will no longer go to Redondo Nails. The quality of service is gone. Save yourself the headache and find another nail shop. read more

The worst... first, they are cash only. I didn't realize until after they started. They do have an ATM but will charge you a dollar to use it. I was passing by and stopped in to ask if they did SNS... they did. I asked for a pedicure and SNS.. the pedicure was just ok. The SNS manicure did not have a manicure included. Removal of powder and applying more powder. That is it. The person who applied my SNS powder nicked me twice with the drill. Not sure why it was used. To make matters worse, he said that my skin was sensitive. WTF? Not before going there. Never again. If possible to give no stars that would have been my choice. They started off with my soak off. The lady had literally no idea what she was doing. She soaked my acrylics for 5 minutes, then started removing them with the drill! Bad experience. We were walk ins for a gel manicure, they sat us down right away which was great. My daughter's manicure lasted 10 minutes. I couldn't believe she was done so quick, when I looked at her nails I realized why. Her nails weren't fully polished, polish was left outside of her nails, and the technician cut her twice. The technician working on my nails was almost done, but she too didn't clean my hands after removing the prior gel polish. She just dusted the nails and kept going, now I have a lot of tiny dust bumps on my nails. So disappointed. This place is dirty and all around gross. They have cockroaches coming out of their sanitizing machine. WTH. I called in for a gel manicure and a gentleman on the phone said it will cost $23 which sounds like a great price. I normally go to another spot in Gardena but I called them and they were busy. So I decided to come to Redondo Nails. When i showed up at Redondo Nails they were so busy, but the guy that works there was kind enough to let me sit on the massage chair while I was waiting for my turn. As I was sitting there one of the technician was already finishing up with a lady that obviously was NOT happy with the job that was done ( I should have known then to just walk out) when the lady points out the mistakes the Technican says "honey no your nail like that". Anyways, the lady leaves unsatisfied. Up next is my turn with the SAME lady that I never got her name because she was rushing the job. I had to rush picking the gel color, then she soaks my nails in the water for literally 1 minute only maybe less. Cuticles weren't don't right I kept asking her to cut this and cut that.. I should never ask, she should know how to get it right. I got gel manicure and it was TERRIBLE she had the manicure stuck on my skin between the nail and the skin I point that out and again she says "honey it's your nail". My new go to nail spot! I had been jumping around from nail shop since my last one (BJ nails) is no longer open on Sundays *sad face*. I'm glad I came across Redondo nails though, they do a pretty good job everytime I come. Their gel manicures are the best. They have a plentiful selection of gel colors and glitters to choose from. As promised the gel seems to last forever. I can typically go 3 weeks to a month before I have to go back and get a new manicure! The standard spa pedicure isn't half bad either! They take their time on making sure they care for your little toes and making you look well polished. The only downfall of the pedicures is the massage chairs kind of suck. I've messed with the controls multiple times to get it right, but it's just too harsh lol. Other than thay, the employees and the quality of their work is awesome! All in all this place is great. Convenient location, open on saturdays/sundays, and the quality of work is very good. I'd definitely recommend anyone in the area looking for a quick freshen up to stop in! read more

This review is based on my visit today and on three other previous visits. My first two visits were for pedicure only and that was properly done with no complaints my feet felt great. However today I brought my best friend in for a full set for her birthday and this is what she received. Some nails were thick others were thin some were different shapes and lengths AND the polish was so thick you can see streaks in the nail and don't let me forget there was polish on her cuticle which she also happen to cut. She spent over an hour on this horribly done job for $50 and expected a tip. I definitely do not recommend this place for full sets. Without an appointment, they took me and got to work. It was one of the fastest gel manicures I ever got and it looks amazing. Worst experience EVER... Came for a fill Only.. had a male manicurist.. He suggested that I get a new set.. told him I had only my nails coated.. no acrylic nails.. only wanted fill . He was so unprofessional and money hungry he constantly tried to find reasons why the acrylic needed to come off.. again I told him just had my nails done 2 weeks ago my nails are nice and strong nothing is loose other than the new growth I just want a fill. He proceeded to remove the acrylic anyway had a very difficult time doing it because it was not loose had the female manicures come over to help him . After twenty painful minutes trying to remove the acrylic that was Not loose . Left with my nails tore up.. broken and sore.. had to go to another shop to fix the damage that was done. Very clean but small. I like that it doesn't smell too strong with nail polish and all that chemical smell which is a plus. Their waiting area has few chairs across the window but it's just crowded and too close to each other. My mom got her nails done here while I waited and they did a decent job and price is pretty low ($16 for manicure. +$5 for French). Parking lot is huge so not a problem. However I don't like the nail polish brands they use. I did not see a single Essie or OPI. I guess that's why it's so cheap. read more

First time at this place and my mom and I love it. Everyone is so nice and professional. I tried their natural smoothing pedicure and it's amazing. My feet feel so soft and it was definitely a treat getting my feet scrubbed. Andy is awesome, my pedi was done by Mi, my mom had Mimi. Visited this place twice. I usually go to another salon in Gardena but wanted to give this place a try as it is closer to my house. On my 1st visit- Not busy, very nice staff but kind of pushy with their products..I got an upgrade Mani & pedi with gel color on my hands. The services were rushed almost like workers were in a race to see who could finish first. The gel & polish is not of good quality. My gel started lifting after just two days and the polish on my toes began to pill within that same week. Very disappointing because I spent $65 for my services. I got my eyebrows waxed also, that was just ok, I wasn't too geeked about them using razor.. Nevertheless I thought I could use this place for emergency situations . 2nd visit (3-7-15) - It was an emergency, I just needed a regular Mani pedi. I advised the front desk guy as well as the nail technician that I wanted a Regular Mani ($8) & Regular Pedi($14). After the rush job, the technician quoted me $24.00. Yeah just a difference of a few dollars but that's not the point. I advised the guy who seems to be in charge that I specifically asked for a REGULAR MANI/PEDI he goes on to explain the difference in the reg vs spa pedi, ok I got that but my point was the fact that I asked for a specific service and was given something different. Needless to say the guy only said sorry and didn't offer me back the different which showed me that he didn't value my business therefore I asked him to give the difference to the tech as a tip. He gladly said ok.. As long as he didn't have to refund me I guess..
